    Abstract: A transportation dolly can have a frame, two axles pivotally coupled with the frame, each axle having two distal ends and a wheel assembly coupled at each distal end and a synchronous steering system. The synchronous steering system can include an intermediate link pivotally coupled with the frame, the intermediate link having a two distal ends, and a first push-pull rod coupling one of the two axles with the intermediate link, and a second push-pull rod coupling the other of the two axles with the intermediate link. The first push-pull rod is coupled to one distal end of the intermediate link and the second push-pull rod is coupled to the opposing distal end of the intermediate link. The first push-pull rod, the second push-pull rod, and the intermediate link provide counter phase synchronous pivoting of the two axles relative to the transportation dolly.

A valve is secured to the housing and extending into the opening through the sleeve and forming a liquid-tight seal with the sleeve. The valve includes a body portion with a cutaway section and a leg fixed to the valve by a hinge, wherein the leg is configured to flex outwards against the sleeve upon insertion of a tube into the valve causing the cutaway section to open a flow channel to allow liquid to flow through the valve assembly.

The lip seal has an annular ring shape, wherein an inner diameter of the ring shape is curved in an axial direction so as to give the lip seal a J-shape when viewed from a cross-sectional perspective. Fillers that can be included in static layer include stiffening filler, reinforcement fillers, conductive fillers and/or abrasion resistance fillers. Fillers that can be included in the dynamic layer include wear resistance fillers. The use of specific fillers in specific layers of the multi-layered lip seal allows for certain segments of the lip seal to be imparted with the benefits of the filler without negatively impacting other segments of the lip seal.

    Abstract: Techniques and tools for encoding enhancement layer video with quantization that varies spatially and/or between color channels are presented, along with corresponding decoding techniques and tools. For example, an encoding tool determines whether quantization varies spatially over a picture, and the tool also determines whether quantization varies between color channels in the picture. The tool signals quantization parameters for macroblocks in the picture in an encoded bit stream. In some implementations, to signal the quantization parameters, the tool predicts the quantization parameters, and the quantization parameters are signaled with reference to the predicted quantization parameters. A decoding tool receives the encoded bit stream, predicts the quantization parameters, and uses the signaled information to determine the quantization parameters for the macroblocks of the enhancement layer video. The decoding tool performs inverse quantization that can vary spatially and/or between color channels.

The connection manager can switch transmissions to the second RF array.

The AFM's phase-sensitive detectors detect a phase modulation between the respective local oscillators and the probe beam and the conjugate beam. The detected phase modulation corresponds to the change in phase. The AFM's circuitry measures phase signals that are indicative of the cantilever displacement. The resulting measurement signals exhibit a quantum noise reduction in either the intensity difference or phase sum quadrature.

In one example, a process for producing petroleum products includes charging feedstock of mixed polymer materials into a reactor apparatus. Heat energy is applied to the feedstock while advancing the feedstock through the reactor apparatus in an anaerobic operation. The energy input to the reactor apparatus is controlled by controlling a temperature gradient within the reactor vessel to produce petroleum gas product. The process involves in situ chemical reactions comprising cracking and recombination reactions that that are controlled to convert solid hydrocarbonaceous portion of the feedstock to molten fluids and gases inside the reactor vessel and to produce gaseous petroleum products which exit the reactor vessel. The separated solid residue from the pyrolysis process is also removed from the reactions vessel.
