  • Patent number: 11113481
Abstract: Techniques described herein may serve to increase the language coverage of an automated assistant system, i.e. they may serve to increase the number of queries in one or more non-native languages for which the automated assistant is able to deliver reasonable responses. For example, techniques are described herein for training and utilizing a machine translation model to map a plurality of semantically-related natural language inputs in one language to one or more canonical translations in another language. In various implementations, the canonical translations may be selected and/or optimized for determining an intent of the speaker by the automated assistant, so that one or more responsive actions can be performed based on the speaker's intent. Put another way, the canonical translations may be specifically formatted for indicating the intent of the speaker to the automated assistant.

  • Patent number: 11114406
Abstract: A first semiconductor die and a second semiconductor die can be bonded in a manner that enhances alignment of bonding pads. Non-uniform deformation of a first wafer including first semiconductor dies can be compensated for by forming a patterned stress-generating film on a backside of the first wafer. Metallic bump portions can be formed on concave surfaces of metallic bonding pads by a selective metal deposition process to reduce gaps between pairs of bonded metallic bonding pads. Pad-to-pad pitch can be adjusted on a semiconductor die to match the pad-to-pad pitch of another semiconductor die employing a tilt-shift operation in a lithographic exposure tool. A chuck configured to provide non-uniform displacement across a wafer can be employed to hold a wafer in a contoured shape for bonding with another wafer in a matching contoured position. Independently height-controlled pins can be employed to hold a wafer in a non-planar configuration.

  • Patent number: 11113070
Abstract: Technologies are provided for automated identification of system devices to be disabled in a computing system and the disablement of the system devices during bootup of the computing system. In some embodiments, the computing system can execute a firmware configured to perform a bootup process of the computing system. The computing system includes multiple system devices. The firmware can generate program code for identifying a system device for disablement. The firmware can send the program code to a controller device curing the bootup process, where execution of the program code by the controller device generates data identifying one or several specific system devices to be disabled in the computing system. The firmware can then access such data from the controller device. Using the data, the firmware can determine that a specific system device to be disabled. The firmware can then disable that particular system device on a next bootup process.
