Abstract: A motor vehicle has an electrically assisted steering system. A steering angle velocity of the motor vehicle, and a driver manual torque change applied by a driver of the motor vehicle are determined. At least the steering angle velocity and the driver manual torque change are analyzed to determine whether the driver manual torque change and the steering angle velocity are not correlated. An error signal is output if the driver manual torque change and the steering angle velocity are not correlated.

Abstract: A system for sharing user-generated content includes a plurality of video recording devices, a viewer device, and a processor. The plurality of video recording devices include cameras capable of capturing video. The recording devices are connected to a network for streaming the video onto the network and transmitting information about the video recording devices related to the streaming video. The viewer device is configured for receiving the streamed video from the network and displaying content based on the streamed video. The viewer device has a viewer-user interface, which can receive viewer-user input. The processor is configured for receiving the information and viewer-user input and selecting one or more videos to stream based on the information that is associated with the viewer-user input. The processors stream the selected videos to the viewer device.

Abstract: Systems and methods for developing user interfaces. User interfaces are previewed by including plugins in a preview user interface. A preview user interface includes a preview of a plugin in the context of a live user interface. The preview user interface is generated from preview web assets that are a copy of the web assets used for the live user interface except for the plugin. The plugin is written to the preview web assets and the preview user interface can then be previewed as if the plugin were part of the live user interface. Once the plugin is approved, the plugin can be incorporated into the live user interface.
Abstract: Disclosed herein are methods of controlling insect pests which infest crop plants, in particular Spodoptera frugiperda (fall armyworm), Lygus hesperus (western tarnished plant bug), Euschistus heros (neotropical brown stink bug), and Plutella xylostella (diamondback moth), and methods of providing plants resistant to such pests. Also disclosed are polynucleotides and recombinant DNA molecules and constructs useful in such methods, insecticidal compositions such as topical sprays containing insecticidal double-stranded RNAs, and plants with improved resistance to infestation by these insects. Further disclosed are methods of selecting target genes for RNAi-mediated silencing and control of these insect pests.

Abstract: Methods and systems for removal of ions from aqueous fluids are provided. In certain embodiments, the present disclosure provides a method of removing one or more oxyanions from an aqueous fluid, including the steps of contacting an aqueous fluid containing oxyanions with an aluminum metal whereby aluminum ions are released from the aluminum metal into the aqueous fluid, wherein the one or more oxyanions in the aqueous fluid react with the aluminum ions to form one or more ettringites; controlling a rate of release of the aluminum ions from the aluminum metal; and removing at least a portion of precipitated ettringites from the aqueous fluid.

Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to systems, methods and devices for providing artificial intelligence (AI) entity-specific feedback. Official content related to an entity or entity figure may be extracted and analyzed. The extracted content may be classified in an entity corpus based on a determined language style of the content. An input into a conversational AI system may be received. A plurality of potential responses related to the input may be determined from one or more entity corpus. Each of the plurality of potential responses may be ranked according to a rank match value calculated for each of the plurality of determined responses, and at least one of potential responses may be provided as feedback.
Abstract: A method of tracking digital images includes inputting data identifying a subject of an image into a camera, acquiring an image with the camera, and storing the image and the inputted data, as metadata, in an image file when the image is acquired. The method can be implemented using a scanner, a digital camera, and a data processor. The scanner obtains the identifying data and transmits the data to the camera. The camera obtains digital images and embeds the data into digital image files encoding the digital images. The identifying data has a format different from any of the formats processable by the digital camera. The data processor converts the format of the identifying data to one of the plurality of formats processable by the digital camera loads the converted information into the digital camera as metadata.
Abstract: A system and method of automated downtime scheduling and control is disclosed. A failure of at least one component of at least one bare-metal server associated with a client is detected and a first notification is transmitted to a client system associated with the client. The notification includes a request to schedule downtime. A response including a selected downtime is received from the client system and the at least one bare-metal server is transitioned to an offline state at the selected downtime. A ticket is generated in a ticketing system for repair of the bare-metal server. The ticket identifies the at least one component.
