Abstract: A drinking container has a lid that attaches to a vessel. The lid has a sidewall that forms a chamber with an opening. A spring-loaded door is pivotable between a closed position that seals the chamber opening from the vessel and an open position that allows transfer of fluid or solids between the chamber and the vessel. A lever has a catch that engages and holds the door in the closed position unless the lever is actuated by the user. The lever can be actuated by the user through an area on the lid that allows operation of the lever from the exterior of the container. The drinking container may include additional chambers with corresponding spring-loaded doors that are released through an area on the lid.

Abstract: A system to allocate resources via information technology infrastructure is described. A server includes processors to provide to a plurality of devices, an electronic benefits account transaction application programming interface (“API”) configured to receive transaction requests from a plurality of heterogeneous electronic funding sources. The server can receive a request to initiate a single transaction to fund an electronics benefit account. The server can transmit data in an alert format indicating a denial of the single request responsive to a comparison of a value to one or more threshold limits.

Abstract: Generally, a sighting system for shooting devices useful to aim the shooting device at a target. Specifically, a sighting device having first sight adapted to receive one or more sighting elements and a second sight having a sight frame defining a sight window, the sight frame supporting at least two flat panels intersecting within said sight window at a central vertex to define a central reticule, the central recticule alignable with said one or more sighting elements to aim a shooting device.

Abstract: A docking system is provided. The docking system includes a docking station and an autonomous mobile robot (AMR). The AMR includes a body, a mount movably coupled to the body, a sensor coupled to the mount and having a field-of-view, a processor, and a memory. The memory includes instructions that, when executed by the processor, cause the processor to perform operations including employ the sensor to scan the docking station, cause the mount to move independently with respect to the body in order to center the field-of-view on the docking station, and dock the AMR at the docking station using the centered field-of-view.

Abstract: A device configured to generate haptic feedback is disclosed. The device includes a housing, a connector, and a haptic motor. The connector includes a mount end coupled to the housing and a distal end spaced away from the mount end. The haptic motor is coupled to the distal end of the connector. Activation of the haptic motor causes the haptic motor to move relative to the housing to generate the haptic feedback.

Abstract: A first conveyor for conveying foodstuff, a second conveyor separated from the first conveyor by a gap of free space, a top camera positioned above the gap and above the first conveyor and the second conveyor, a bottom camera positioned below the gap and below the first conveyor and the second conveyor, wherein the top camera and the bottom camera capture images of the foodstuff in the gap between the first conveyor and the second conveyor for analysis.

Abstract: A multi-port Ethernet fiber switch converts the TDD to OD and then provides the OD to multi-port Ethernet fiber switch ports for transmission on optical lines connected to the multi-port Ethernet fiber switch ports. The OD on the multiple optical lines is then transmitted to multiple integrated converter/receiver in-wall mounted data access stations through the multiple optical lines. Each integrated converter/receiver in-wall mounted data access station includes an integrated OD to TDD converter/receiver that is positioned in a cavity in the wall in which the integrated converter/receiver in-wall mounted data access station resides. Each integrated converter/receiver in-wall mounted data access station includes one or more data ports, such as standard RJ-45 ports.

Abstract: A poultry walking harness includes a body portion, neck straps connected to the body portion and each extending in a forward direction, a leash connector connected to the neck straps to form, along with the neck straps and the body portion, a neck opening shaped to surround a neck of poultry, forward securing straps connected to at least one of the neck straps and the leash connector and extending in the forward direction and rear securing straps connected to the body portion and extending in a rearward direction, the forward and rear securing straps having removably securable connectors configured to connect to one another and, thereby, secure the body portion to a body of the poultry.

Abstract: A system for automatically generating responses to user queries includes one or more processors, operable when executing instructions to: receive a query from a user, determine a first set of similarity scores between the query and a plurality of stored queries stored in a data store, and determine whether a first similarity score of the first set of similarity scores meets a first threshold. In accordance with a determination that the first similarity score meets the first threshold, the processors are further operable to obtain a set of case information for the current case; retrieve case information for at least one precedent case; determine a second set of similarity scores between the current case and the at least one precedent case; determine whether a second similarity score of the second set of similarity scores meets a second threshold; and generate a response to the query.

Abstract: Soft tissue in the mouth (or other body cavity) is surgically released by an incision to free up the tension of the tissue. To prevent premature reattachment of the tissue after separation, a wound dressing is applied to the surgical site followed by application of a substance, malleable during application, that provides a dressing fixture over the wound dressing in an area of the surgical site that is to remain separated. The substance adheres to the area of application and at least partially hardens within a short period of time, then remains in place while the surgical site heals. The dressing fixture may be cyanoacrylate.

Abstract: Modular container delivery systems and methods are described herein. A modular container delivery system may be implemented to facilitate autonomous delivery of packages to customers. A modular container, as described in greater detail below, may be attached to a battery operated electric vehicle (BEV) and autonomous driving platform chassis. The container system itself contains a package sorting mechanism that is configured to move packages inside the vehicle, organize them into separate section of the vehicle and retrieve packages for delivery on as needed.

Abstract: The present invention is directed to a battery monitoring apparatus useful for monitoring a variety of battery parameters. The battery monitoring apparatus comprises a battery pack, a set of sense wires, and a printed circuit board operably connected to the set of sense wires. The printed circuit board may be positioned within the battery case or mounted externally as an accessory. The printed circuit board further comprises a memory, microprocessor, current measuring device, and wireless transmitter. The printed circuit board relays battery data to an external device and may be used in conjunction with a variety of battery management systems. The claimed battery monitoring apparatus is particularly advantageous to battery distributors seeking to create a standardized user experience for end users to monitor their battery performance data.

Abstract: Systems and methods for implementing reverse dig mode and/or reverse drive mode. Reverse dig mode may involve determining an inner front wheel and outer front wheel relative to steering controls and simultaneously applying a forward torque to the inner front wheel of the vehicle and a reverse torque to the outer front wheel of the vehicle. Reverse drive mode may involve determining steering controls of a vehicle and applying inverted controls to the rear wheels of the vehicle that provides a simulated sense that the driver is handling the vehicle in the forward direction.

Abstract: A fleet management system is disclosed. The system may include a transceiver configured to receive vehicle information from each vehicle of a vehicle fleet and environmental condition information associated with each vehicle. The fleet management system may further include a processor configured to obtain the vehicle information and the environmental condition information, and predict a future vehicle efficiency and a future vehicle health of each vehicle. Based on the prediction, the processor may calculate first resources required to operate the vehicle fleet according to a current fleet allocation. The processor may determine an updated fleet allocation for the vehicle fleet, and calculate second resources required to operate the vehicle fleet according to the updated fleet allocation. The processor may transmit an instruction to at least vehicle of the vehicle fleet to re-locate based on the updated fleet allocation when the second resources may be less than the first resources.

Abstract: A method for performing speech recognition using sequence-to-sequence models includes receiving audio data for an utterance and providing features indicative of acoustic characteristics of the utterance as input to an encoder. The method also includes processing an output of the encoder using an attender to generate a context vector, generating speech recognition scores using the context vector and a decoder trained using a training process, and generating a transcription for the utterance using word elements selected based on the speech recognition scores. The transcription is provided as an output of the ASR system.
