Abstract: Disposer systems having antimicrobial lighting, lens assemblies for use in disposer systems, and methods of installing antimicrobial lighting into disposer systems are provided. The lens assemblies include a lens that forms an inner wall of the lens assembly and faces into an interior area of the disposer system, at least one LED board including at least one LED that emits violet light. Lens assemblies may be secured to at least one of a waste disposer, a sink flange or a mounting gasket of the waste disposer system.

The vehicle may include a battery and the vehicle power system configured to transfer power from the battery to an external accessory connected to the vehicle power system. The vehicle may further include a processor configured to obtain a vehicle power system usage rule set or a vehicle power system usage request from a user device associated with a user to use the vehicle power system, via a wireless communication network. The processor may be further configured to control a vehicle power system operation based on the vehicle power system usage rule set or the vehicle power system usage request.

Abstract: A gastric cancer therapy dosing regimen that results in enhanced therapeutic effectiveness and reduced side effects has been discovered. Gastric cancer patients treated daily with a combination of minnelide prodrug and paclitaxel experienced significant negative side effects and progression of the cancer. A minnelide prodrug and paclitaxel combination therapy administered according to a novel dosing regimen provided significantly improved treatment results. The novel dosing regimen comprises a 28-day cycle wherein minnelide prodrug was dosed once per day on days 1 to 5, 8 to 12, and 15 to 19 of the cycle, and paclitaxel was dosed once per day on days 1, 8, and 15 of the cycle. The novel dosing regimen was shown to be both effective toward treating gastric cancer and was well tolerated in human patients.

Abstract: A curved trimming profile device forms an elongated curved aperture shaped to border a portion of the ear. The device is placed in an area over the user's ear with the hair in need of a trim being pressed between the device and the user's skin. The device forms an aperture allowing a razor or clipper blades to reach hair on the scalp under the device through the aperture. The razor or clipper blades travel along the surface of the user's skin, guided by the aperture, to trim hair along the line and within the area of the aperture. The device may be used on either ear.

Abstract: A thermal management device includes a heat spreader and a folded graphite sheet. The heat spreader is configured to receive heat from a heat source. The folded graphite sheet is connected to the heat spreader to receive and exhaust heat from the heat spreader. The folded graphite sheet includes a first fin, a second fin, and a segment connecting the first fin and second fin. The first fin is oriented at least partially vertically away from the heat spreader. The second fin is oriented at least partially vertically away from the heat spreader. The folded graphite sheet is continuous through the first fin, the segment, and the second fin.

Abstract: A non-access point multi-link device (non-AP MLD) receives from an access point multi-link device (AP MLD), while in a first power save mode, a beacon frame comprising a traffic indication map (TIM) element indicating downlink buffered units (BUs) for the non-AP MLD, where during the first power save mode the non-AP MLD wakes to listen for beacon frames on one of enabled links at least once within a listen interval. After receiving the downlink BUs from the AP MLD, the non-AP MLD switches to a second power save mode, where during the second power save mode the non-AP MLD wakes to listen for beacon frames at each target beacon transmission time (TBTT) on the enabled links until a timer expires.

In one embodiment, the method comprises generating an anti-tampering secret (ATS) associated with customer specific information (CSI); providing the ATS for secure storage by the device; receiving a message from the device, the certificate signing request comprising a certificate signing request, the CSI, and an authentication tag derived at least in part according to the ATS and the CSI; and authenticating the received message according to a comparison of the received authentication tag and a another authentication tag generated at least in part according to the received CSI.

Abstract: Some embodiments and methods described herein relate to fire training systems and to fire simulators or fire training apparatus. In some embodiments, an apparatus includes a housing with a surface and an interior volume. A smoke generator is disposed within the interior volume of the housing and is configured to selectively generate smoke. A port is extended between the smoke generator and the surface of the housing and is configured to permit at least a portion of the smoke to be discharged through the port from the smoke generator to an exterior of the housing. A light emitter is coupled to the housing and configured to emit a light. The light and the portion of smoke are collectively configured to simulate a flame or electric arc above the surface of the housing such that the simulated flame or electric arc is viewable from more than 180 degrees about the surface of the housing.

Abstract: An arm brace providing adjustable permitted flexion of the arm at the elbow includes an adjustable upper arm section, an adjustable lower arm section, a stoppable hinge connecting the arm sections, a stop to stop the hinge, and adjustable closures to connect the brace system to the upper and lower arm of a patient around the elbow. The stoppable hinge includes a stop receiver with slot detents for inserting a stopping tab at angular settings for permitted arm flexion, and an edge, for interacting with the stopping tab.
