  • Patent number: 11078744
Abstract: In wellbore completions it is sometimes desirable to seal the wellbore against fluid flow or to anchor a component within the wellbore. However, running such a plug into the wellbore has been problematic on occasion such as when the nose of the plug encounters an object within the wellbore such as a sand bridge or other obstruction. In those instances, the way of the tubular pushing the plug into the wellbore combined with the nose of the plug being unable to pass the instruction causes the plug to prematurely set. Such an instance the plug may need to be drilled out in order to proceed. In the present embodiment the tubular used to move the plug into the well is attached to the nose of the plug so that the force provided to the plug by the tubular is transmitted only to the nose of the plug preventing the plug from presetting and allowing the plug to push past or through an obstacle within the wellbore.

  • Patent number: 11080078
Abstract: Examples are disclosed that relate to processing files between a local network and a cloud computing service. One example provides a computing device configured to be located between a local network and a cloud computing service, comprising a logic machine and a storage machine comprising instructions executable to receive, from a device within the local network, a file at a local share of the computing device, and in response to receiving the file, generate a file event indicating receipt of the file at the local share and provide the file event to a virtual machine executing on the computing device. The instructions are further executable to, based upon a property of the file, provide the file to a program operating within a container in the virtual machine to process the file, and send a result of executing the program on the file to the cloud computing service.

  • Patent number: 11082794
Abstract: An audio system captures audio data of test sounds through a microphone of a headset worn by a user. The test sounds are played by an external speaker, and the audio data includes audio data captured for different orientations of the headset with respect to the external speaker. A set of head-related transfer function (HRTFs) is calculated based at least in part on the audio data of the test sounds at the different orientations of the headset. A portion of the set of HRTFs is discarded to create an intermediate set of HRTFs. The discarded portion corresponding to one or more distortion regions that are based in part on wearing the headset. One or more HRTFs are generated that correspond to the discarded portion using at least some of the intermediate set of HRTFs to create an individualized set of HRTFs for the user.

  • Patent number: 11080564
Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer programs are presented for reclassifying content in an online service. One method includes an operation for classifying a content item, to be presented on an online service, as low-quality or approved. The method further includes an operation for storing, in a content database of the online service, the content item with a content certification record (CCR). The CCR includes a result of the classifying of the content item, a content classification platform signature (CCPS), and a content signature. Further, the method includes operations for detecting a trigger for determining if the content item has to be reclassified, and for checking if the item needs to be reclassified. The checking includes comparing the CCPS in the CCR to a latest CCPS and comparing the content signature in the CCR to a current content signature of the content item. The content item is reclassified based on the checking.
