  • Patent number: 11079759
Abstract: Various technologies described herein pertain to sharing of detection of active emergency vehicles within an autonomous vehicle fleet. Information specifying detection of an active emergency vehicle at a first location in an environment is received. The active emergency vehicle is detected based upon sensor inputs of a first autonomous vehicle in an autonomous vehicle fleet. A second autonomous vehicle, at a second location, in the autonomous vehicle fleet is identified as being approached by the active emergency vehicle based on the information specifying the detection of the active emergency vehicle at the first location and the second location of the second autonomous vehicle. A remote assistance session for the second autonomous vehicle is caused to be initiated based on the second autonomous vehicle being identified as being approached by the active emergency vehicle. The second autonomous vehicle is controllable by a remote operator during the remote assistance session.

  • Patent number: 11079875
Abstract: A compact electronic device has a touch sensor and/or a microphone that are concealed within a housing at least partially wrapped by an acoustically porous cover. In some implementations, the touch sensor includes a sensing portion and a contact portion extending from the sensing portion. While the sensing portion is placed in proximity to an interior surface of the housing to detect a touch on the housing, the contact portion is bent to electrically couple the sensing portion to a circuit board via two distinct electrical paths. In some implementations, an exterior surface of the housing includes a sealing area surrounding an aperture on the housing, and the acoustically porous cover is affixed to the sealing area via an adhesive. The adhesive covers the sealing area and permeates a thickness of the acoustically porous cover, thereby enabling formation of a controlled sound path to access the microphone via the aperture.

  • Patent number: 11079824
Abstract: Systems and methods for power distribution are disclosed. A system includes a first power domain that supplies current to an integrated circuit at a first voltage level, a second power domain that supplies current to the integrated circuit at a second voltage level, and a current distribution component that is connected to the first power domain and connectable to the second power domain and senses a metric comprising a first current level or a first voltage level drawn from the first power domain, determines whether the metric exceeds a first threshold, and in response to determining that the metric exceeds the first threshold, electrically connects the second power domain to the integrated circuit to supply additional current such that an aggregate current level received by the integrated circuit comprises current from the first power domain and the additional current from the second power domain.

  • Patent number: 11079858
Abstract: A head-worn computer includes a camera system positioned to capture a surrounding environment in front of a user, a processor that identifies a position of a plurality of light emitters mounted on a hand-held controller from images captured by the camera system and tracks the position of the plurality of light emitters as the hand-held controller moves in the surrounding environment and interprets the tracked position as positional changes of the hand-held controller. The processor uses the position of the plurality of light emitters as markers in three dimensional space, the markers used as an anchor for virtual content presented in a see-through display of the head-worn computer.

  • Patent number: 11077237
Abstract: A closed system for harvesting fat through liposuction, concentrating the aspirate so obtained, and then re-injecting the concentrated fat into a patient comprises as its main components a low pressure cannula having between about 7 to 12 side holes of about 1-2 mm by 2.0 to 4.0 mm, a spring loaded syringe holder with a constant force or coiled ribbon spring to apply a substantially constant pressure over the full excursion of the plunger, and a preferably flexible collection bag which is also preferably graduated, cylindrical over most of its body and funnel shaped at its bottom, all of which are connected through flexible tubings to a multi-port valve. The multi-port valve has two flutter/duck bill valves which restrict the fluid flow to a one way direction which effectively allows the syringe to be used to pump fat out of a patient and into a collection bag in a continuous manner.

  • Patent number: 11081195
Abstract: Techniques are provided to compensate for neighbor word line interference when programming memory cells connected to a selected word line WLn. Before programming, the assigned data states of WLn and WLn+1 are compared and corresponding compensation data is generated. The compensation data may be stored in latches of sense circuits to modify the verify tests which occur during programming. The compensation can involve adjusting the bit line voltage, word line voltage, sense node discharge period and/or trip voltage. During a verify test, the compensation data can cause a WLn memory cell to complete programming when its threshold voltage is lower than would be the case with no compensation. When the WLn+1 memory cells are subsequently programmed, an upshift in the threshold voltage of the WLn memory cell offsets the compensation.

  • Patent number: 11077480
Abstract: A radial compression mechanism utilizes a string wrapped around a plurality of compression dies to move the dies inward and close a central cylindrical cavity defined by the working surfaces of the dies. The string may be coupled to a string tension mechanism that enables a user to applied a desired tension to the string and thereby compress an article within the central cylindrical cavity. The compression dies may be coupled to a base and move along die-guiding slots from an open position to a closed position. A spring may be configured to force the compression dies open and provide some back-tension to the string. The string may extend around a pully on an opposing side of the compression mechanism and both ends of the string may be coupled to the string tension mechanism.

  • Patent number: 11077392
Abstract: A modular filtration platform having at least one manifold head and at least one respective filter cartridge assembly. Each manifold head is connected to one another to establish a water flow in a series or parallel manner. Each filter cartridge assembly is releasably secured from rotation relative to the manifold head by a locking mechanism. An aperture on the filter cartridge assembly annular collar mates with a protruding resilient extension on either the manifold head or support bracket. Alternatively, an aperture on the filter cartridge assembly annular collar and an aperture on the manifold head annular collar mate with a protruding member from a locking ring extending through both apertures. An integrated sensor package may be integrated with the system for true managed water visible/audible indications and Wi-Fi interface to facilitate virtually instantaneous response times for filtration needs.

  • Patent number: 11079509
Abstract: Automatic propagation of real-world parent seismic images to efficiently generate a collection of realistic synthetic child training images to train a model for accurate automatic seismic interpretation. A 3D structural model in a present-day geological space (e.g., GB) depicting subsurface locations of particles (e.g., in region B) may be transformed by a 3D coordinate space transformation (e.g., uvtB) to a depositional space (e.g., G*B) depicting past depositional locations of those particles (e.g., corresponding depositional region B). A real-world parent image depicting subsurface locations of particles (e.g., in region A) may be transformed, via a forward transformation (e.g., uvtA), to a depositional seismic image in the depositional space of the three-dimensional structural model (e.g., G*A=G*B). A reverse transformation (e.g., uutB?1) may transform the depositional seismic image from the depositional space into synthetic child training images in the present-day geological space (e.g.
