  • Patent number: 11032735
Abstract: A system that can detect a congested network node device that is overloaded due to number of user equipment (UE) devices connected to the network node device being determined to have exceeded a connection threshold; determine a second network node device that is available to establish connections with at least some of the UEs connected to the congested network node device; identify a third network node device that is transferring UE devices to the congested network node device to create additional connections; and transmit a cell individual offset (CIO) parameter and cell hysteresis offsets to the third network node device to reduce transferring UE devices to the congested network node device, and another CIO parameter and cell hysteresis offsets to the second network node device to increase establishment of the UE connection from the congested network node device.

  • Patent number: 11029767
Abstract: The present invention is directed toward a system and process that controls a group of networked electronic components using a multimodal integration scheme in which inputs from a speech recognition subsystem, gesture recognition subsystem employing a wireless pointing device and pointing analysis subsystem also employing the pointing device, are combined to determine what component a user wants to control and what control action is desired. In this multimodal integration scheme, the desired action concerning an electronic component is decomposed into a command and a referent pair. The referent can be identified using the pointing device to identify the component by pointing at the component or an object associated with it, by using speech recognition, or both. The command may be specified by pressing a button on the pointing device, by a gesture performed with the pointing device, by a speech recognition event, or by any combination of these inputs.

  • Patent number: 11032814
Abstract: A User Equipment (UE) monitors a set of Physical Downlink Control Channel (PDCCH) candidates for control information received from a base station at subframe k. The set of PDCCH candidates to monitor are defined in terms of search spaces. The UE monitors a UE-specific search space, among the search spaces, at each of aggregation levels (L) of 1, 2, 4 and 8 control channel elements (CCEs), the CCE being a resource unit comprising a specific number of resource elements and used for transmission of the control information. The L CCEs correspond to a first PDCCH candidate among the set of PDCCH candidates of the search space at a subframe k are located at positions given by: L*{(Yk)mod(floor(C))}+i, wherein i?0, . . . , L?1, where Yk is defined by: Yk?(A*Yk?1+B) mod D. The variable C is determined based on the number of CCEs (NCCE) divided by the aggregation level (L), and A, B, and D are predetermined constant values predetermined regardless of the aggregation levels L.

  • Patent number: 11030825
Abstract: A computer-aided design system enables physical articles to be customized via printing or embroidering and enables digital content to be customized and electronically shared. A user interface may be generated that includes an image of a model of an article of manufacture and user customizable design areas. Customization permissions associated with a selected design area are accessed. User provided content to be used in customizing a design area may be analyzed in real time using a trained engine to determine if it complies with one or more rules. If the user provided content satisfies a corresponding rule, manufacturing instructions and a design file may be transmitted to a printing system.

  • Patent number: 11030327
Abstract: Data processing systems and methods, according to various embodiments, are adapted for efficiently processing data to allow for the streamlined assessment of risk ratings for one or more vendors. In various embodiments, the systems/methods may use one or more particular vendor attributes (e.g., as determined from scanning one or more webpages associated with the particular vendor) and the contents of one or more completed privacy templates for the vendor to determine a vendor risk rating for the particular vendor. As a particular example, the system may scan a website associated with the vendor to automatically determine one or more security certifications associated with the vendor and use that information, along with information from a completed privacy template for the vendor, to calculate a vendor risk rating that indicates the risk of doing business with the vendor.
