Abstract: Described herein is a mechanism for improving the accuracy of a language model interpreting short input utterances. A language model operates in a stateless manner, only ascertaining the intents and/or entities associated with a presented input utterance. To increase the accuracy, two language understanding models are trained. One is trained using only input utterances. The second is trained using input utterance-prior dialog context pairs. The prior dialog context is previous intents and/or entities already determined from the utterances in prior turns of the dialog. When input is received, the language understanding model decides whether the input comprises only an utterance or an utterance and prior dialog context. The appropriate trained machine learning model is selected and the intents and/or entities associated with the input determined by the selected machine learning model.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a method of maintaining a target value of a melt flow index of a polyethylene polymer product being synthesized with a metallocene catalyst in a fluidized bed gas phase reactor. The method includes producing the polyethylene polymer product at the target value of the melt flow index with a metallocene catalyst in a fluidized bed gas phase reactor at a steady state in which the fluidized bed gas phase reactor is at a first reactor temperature and receives feeds of hydrogen and ethylene at a hydrogen to ethylene feed ratio at a first ratio value. When a change in reactor temperature is detected, the hydrogen to ethylene feed ratio is changed from the first ratio value to a second ratio value so as to maintain the melt flow index value of the polyethylene polymer product at the target value.

Abstract: A process is described for reducing the level of benzene in a refinery gasoline feed containing benzene and at least one C5+ olefin, in which the refinery gasoline feed is contacted with a first alkylation catalyst under conditions effective to react at least part of the C5+ olefin and benzene in the refinery gasoline feed and produce a first alkylation effluent. The first alkylation effluent is separated into at least (i) a first fraction rich in benzene, (ii) a second fraction rich in C7 to C12 hydrocarbons and (iii) a third fraction rich in C13+ hydrocarbons. At least part of the first fraction is contacted with an alkylating agent comprising one or more C2 to C4 olefins in the presence of a second alkylation catalyst under conditions effective to produce a second alkylation effluent which has reduced benzene content as compared with the first fraction.
Abstract: A hand-held display device includes a container having a front display having a perimeter, a top side, a left side, a right side, and a bottom side, together all defining the perimeter of the front display, and a back side. The front display includes a plurality of display portions. Each display portion provides an array of display markers. The display markers are configured to display a first side when an electrical current is passed therethrough and a second side when the electrical current is not passed therethrough. A plurality of controllers is mounted on the container. The plurality of controllers equals the plurality of display portions. Each controller is configured to selectively pass the electrical current through a predetermined configuration of the display markers in a respective one of the first plurality of display portions, such that a predetermined indicia is displayed.

Abstract: A gas scrubber includes a canister having a rotatable spiral separator which provides a non-linear path configured to be filled with modular adsorbent material portions between a gas inlet and a gas outlet.
Abstract: Systems and methods for preparing and re-commissioning a controlled device in a home area network are described. A utility meter is communicated with. An authentication key and encryption data for communicating with the utility meter may be determined. The authentication key and encryption data are sent to a controlled device. A set of translation rules for a message are determined. The translation rules are sent to the controlled device. The controlled device establishes a secure communication link with the utility meter using the authentication key and the encryption data. The controlled device receives a request to change power usage from the utility meter over the secure communication link. The controlled device translates the request to change power usage into control instructions using the translation rules.
Abstract: A system and method including a fastener clip assembly including a cap configured to be secured to a chassis through a chassis slot and a pin configured to be secured to a body panel, wherein the pin is configured to be secured to the cap. The pin includes a pin head having a bottom surface and the cap includes one or more fingers. The fingers are configured to bend outward from an original position based at least in part on the pin being inserted into the cap and are configured to bend back to the original position based at least in part on the pin head moving past the fingers. The fingers are configured to secure the pin to cap based at least in part on the fingers engaging a bottom surface of the pin head. The cap includes one or more limiters corresponding to the one or more fingers. The limiters are located to the outside of the fingers, and the limiters are configured to prevent breaking of the fingers based at least in part on the limiters limiting an outward bending of the fingers.
Abstract: The disclosed embodiments include methods and systems for providing predictive quality analysis. Consistent with disclosed embodiments, a system may receive input data associated with a software program and compare the input data with one or more predetermined analysis parameters. The system may further determine at least one risk rating based on the comparison, wherein each risk rating corresponds to a distinct software category. The system may perform additional operations, including determining at least one adjustment to the software program based on the determined at least one risk rating, and prioritizing the at least one adjustment based on a predetermined adjustment priority standard. Furthermore, the system may provide a report including at least an indication of the at least one prioritized adjustment, a timeline for implementing the at least one prioritized adjustment, and plan implementing the at least one prioritized adjustment.
Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to a decision support system or tool based on a Bayesian Network (BN) framework. The diagnostic support tool is created by using advanced Probabilistic Risk Assessment (PRA) method(s) to construct Bayesian Networks (BNs) that form a Bayesian Decision Support Process (BDSP) to provide science-based decision support for understanding and managing events in complex systems. In an embodiment, the PRA method(s) may include Discrete Dynamic Event Trees (DDETs) and simulations.

Abstract: A service action category based cloud security system and method implement cloud security by categorizing service actions of cloud service providers into a set of service action categories. The service action categorization is performed agnostic to the applications or functions provided by the cloud service providers and also agnostic to the cloud service providers. With the service actions of cloud service providers thus categorized, cloud security monitoring and threat detection can be performed based on service action categories. Thus, cloud security can be implemented without requiring knowledge of the applications supported by the cloud service providers and without knowing all of the individual service actions supported by the cloud service providers.
