Abstract: In one embodiment, a method selects a first reference block in a first reference frame and a second reference block in a second reference frame. The first reference block and the second reference block are used to predict a current block. The first reference block is selected as an anchor point. Then, the method searches in the second reference frame for a third reference block and determines whether the third reference block is a better reference block than the second reference block for predicting the current block.

Abstract: The present discloaure relates to a transmission apparatus, a transmission method, a reception apparatus, and a reception method which make it possible to control redundancy of a header in packet communication. A region representing a packet length in a header of a packet is set according to a size of a payload of an input packet. A header of a baseband packet includes a minimum fixed length header including type identification information for identification of a type of the input packet or the stream and information of a packet length of the input packet or the stream stored in a payload of the baseband flame packet.
Abstract: An apparatus and packaging system for filling single-serve pods is described. The apparatus includes a base for supporting a rotatable platform comprising multiple pod holders, a filler mounted on the base and adjacent to the rotatable platform comprising a container filled with food product and multiple augers capable of filling the pods with food product, a sealer mounted on the base comprising a film winder, and a controller directing rotation of the rotatable platform, filling of the food product from the filler, and sealing and trimming of the sealed film tops of the single-serve pods.

Abstract: Examples are disclosed that relate to adjusting sensitivity of a control stick. In one example, a method comprises: receiving a dead zone inflection point defining a boundary of a dead zone region and a playspace region within a normalized two-dimensional movement space, receiving a sensitivity inflection point within the playspace region of the normalized two-dimensional movement space, transforming the sensitivity inflection point to a transformed sensitivity inflection point using a sensitivity scaling function that comprises the dead zone inflection point, receiving position data representing a current position of the control stick, and transforming the current position to a transformed position using a mapping function comprising the dead zone inflection point and the transformed sensitivity inflection point.
