Abstract: In certain embodiments, a sensing and tracking system detects objects, such as user input devices or peripherals, and user interactions with them. A representation of the objects and user interactions are then injected into the virtual reality environment. The representation can be an actual reality, augmented reality, virtual representation or any combination. For example, an actual keyboard can be injected, but with the keys pressed being enlarged and lighted.

Abstract: The present disclosure generally provides for advanced single camera video conferencing systems, and methods related thereto. The advanced single camera video conferencing system features a hybrid optical/digital camera, herein a camera device, having a controller that is configured to execute one or more of the methods set forth herein. In one embodiment, a method includes optically framing, a first portion of a video conferencing environment to provide an actual field-of-view, digitally framing a second portion of the video conferencing environment to provide an apparent field-of-view that is encompassed within the actual field-of-view, generating a video stream of the apparent field-of-view, surveying the actual field-of-view to generate survey data, and detecting changes in the survey data over time. The method may be performed using a single camera device using a single image sensor.

Abstract: In certain embodiments, an input device includes a chassis and a depressible actuator disposed on the chassis that, when depressed, generates and sends a control signal to a processor, where the actuator is coupleable to a removable button cover that provides user-access to activate the actuator, and a removable blank cover to prevent user access to activate the actuator. The button cover and blank cover can be separate from the chassis and may directly attach to the actuator. The input device can further include a second depressible actuator disposed on the chassis that, when depressed, generates and sends a second control signal to the processor, where the second actuator is coupleable to the button cover and the blank cover.

Abstract: In some embodiments, a transceiver is configured to wirelessly transfer data between a host computing device and a plurality of peripheral devices over a communication path using a communication data construct sent by the transceiver comprising a plurality of packet structures forming a communication protocol for communicating peripheral device data (HID or audio data) between the host device and the plurality of peripheral devices. Each of the packet structures of the plurality of packet structures can include a single destination address configured to identify which of the plurality of peripheral devices will receive peripheral device data from the host computing device in the present packet structure and which of the plurality of computer peripheral devices will not receive peripheral device data from the host computing device in a present packet structure; and a data field configured to contain peripheral operational data for each of the plurality of peripheral devices.
Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure generally relate to custom-fit in-ear audio devices, also referred to herein as in-ear audio devices, custom-fit earpieces, or simply earpieces. The following discloses embodiments of custom-fit earpieces that include features providing superior retention in a user's ear while also maintaining desirable comfort and sound quality. The superior retention is generally provided by a curable filler material disposed in a sleeve body that is deformed to conform to the shape of a user's ear as the curable filler material is cured. The comfort level of the custom-fit earpiece described herein is enhanced because the audio output member can move independently or relative to the portion of the earpiece that includes the curable filler material, thus allowing the audio output member to adjust to and comfortably fit within a given user's ear canal.

Abstract: A method of operating a video camera system comprises recording video frames of a scene that includes a zone defined as an area within a field-of-view of the video capture element; performing a first analysis of recorded video frames showing the zone, determining, based on the first analysis, a first difference of composition thereof; performing a second analysis of an area outside of the zone; determining, based on the second analysis, a second difference of composition thereof; characterizing one or more properties corresponding to the second difference in composition; determining whether the one or more properties are associated with the first difference in composition within the zone and if so, characterizing the first difference in composition within the zone based on the one more properties and performing an action based on the characterization of the first difference in composition within the zone based on the one or more properties.
Abstract: A custom-fit in-ear-monitor (IEM) is provided that utilizes a plurality of drivers and a single piece driver module that significantly simplifies fabrication while insuring that the completed IEM achieves the desired acoustic performance. The driver module, which is fit within a custom-fit ear mold shell, includes a plurality of driver ports to which the drivers are coupled. The driver module also includes an acoustic output member that includes one or more sound bores that acoustically couple the acoustic output surface of the custom-fit ear mold shell to the plurality of driver ports via a plurality of sound ducts within the driver module.
