Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a method and system of switching a wireless connection between a plurality of input devices and a first host device to at least a second host device. Embodiments of the invention are directed to systems and methods for switching multiple, independently connected data input devices from a first host computing device to a second host computing device together based on a single command or operation.

Abstract: Some embodiments include a protective cover for a mobile display device including a housing, a backplane, a liner, and a lip. The housing includes an outer portion and an inner portion, where the outer portion of the housing has a rectangular frame structure to provide a protective shell along an outer edge of the mobile display device, and where the inner portion receives and secures the mobile display device. The backplane is comprised of a rigid material and is coupled to a backside of the housing and provides a protective shell along a back side of the mobile display device. The liner has a corrugated soft rubber or polymer construction including a successive pattern of protrusions separated by a distance and is coupled to the inner portion of the housing. The lip is coupled to a front side of the housing to retain the mobile display device within the housing.

Abstract: A knob for an input device may include a knob housing being rotatable on an axis, a shaft coupled to and extending from the knob housing along the axis, a ratchet wheel axially coupled to the shaft and including a toothed perimeter, and a resistance wheel axially coupled to the shaft and including a smooth perimeter, where the ratchet wheel and the resistance wheel are rotatable on the axis in correspondence with a rotation of the knob housing. A biasing mechanism provides a force on its first end to cause a roller to engage with the toothed perimeter of the ratchet wheel such that a ratcheted rotation occurs when the knob housing is rotated, and further provides a force on its second end to cause the second end to engage with the smooth perimeter of the resistance wheel such that a friction is provided when the knob housing is rotated.

Abstract: Embodiments of the invention are directed to control devices configured for use with computing devices. More specifically, the present invention relates to methods and devices for shortening wireless reconnection time by determining the presence of an object or body near a device. When the control device detects an object or body in proximity to the device, the control device may automatically establish a wireless connection with a host devices, such that when the control device receives any user interactions, the wireless connection has already been established, preventing loss of data.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and devices are provided for determining an exertion recommendation for an anticipated exercise session. One such system includes a wearable device comprising a biosensor that monitors biometrics (e.g. heart rate); a motion sensor that monitors activity; a processor operatively coupled to the biosensor, the processor configured to process electronic signals periodically generated by the biosensor and the motion sensor; and a non-transitory computer-readable medium operatively coupled to the processor and storing instructions that, when executed, cause the processor to execute specific functions. In particular, the instructions are executed to cause the processor to generate biometric data from the biometrics (e.g. heart rate information in particular). Further, the instructions are executed to generate an exertion recommendation based on an exertion model created from and representing a relationship between prior exertion measures and prior response profile measures.

Abstract: A configurable headset includes a stock open-back configuration, wherein an audio profile for the headset in the stock open-back configuration is optimized. When the stock open-back configuration is physically modified to a closed-back configuration, the audio profile degrades, but is manually or automatically improved through selection of a pre-programmed compensated audio profile via an audio profile controller in communication with the configurable headset.
Abstract: Methods and Systems for providing multiple audio streams, such as a Game Audio stream and Network Chat audio stream, to a headset of a user of a game console are described. The methods and systems include receiving, by a game console controller in communication with a game console and a portable audio mixing module, Network Chat from a game console; receiving, by a portable audio mixing module in communication with a game console controller, Network Chat; receiving, by a base station in communication with the game console and the portable audio mixing module, the Game Audio; receiving, by the portable audio mixing module, the Game Audio; mixing, by the portable audio mixing module, the Network Chat and Game Audio to produce a blended audio output stream; and transmitting, by the portable audio mixing module, the blended audio output stream to a headset in communication with the portable audio mixing module.

Abstract: A web cam device includes a camera housing, a camera disposed in the camera housing, a data cable coupled to the camera that extends from the camera housing, and a base including an aperture to receive the data cable such that the base is slideable along the data cable, where the aperture provides a sliding friction to the data cable, and where the camera is operable to be mounted on a monitor when the camera is positioned on a front of the monitor, the data cable is configured to pass through the aperture of the base, and the base is secured against the back of the monitor and held by the sliding friction of the aperture on the data cable. The camera housing can include a protrusion extending from the camera housing and is flush against the front of the monitor when the camera is mounted on the display device.
