The compositions include from 0.5% by weight to about 4% by weight of one or more fillers, wherein the one or more fillers comprise silica aerogel, borosilicate, swellable clay, and combinations thereof. The compositions further include at least 25% by weight of one or more pigments. The compositions are substantially free of water.

Abstract: A digital makeup artist system includes a mobile device, a database system storing cosmetic routine information, common makeup looks, cosmetic products for skin types and ethnicity, and user look preferences of a user. The mobile device includes a user interface for interacting with a digital makeup artist. The digital makeup artist performs an interactive dialog with the user in order to capture needs of the user, including types of makeup look, indoor or outdoor look, skin condition, facial problem areas, favorite facial features. The computation circuitry analyzes the user's face image to identify face parts, analyzes the face image to determine facial characteristics, and generates image frames to be displayed in synchronization with the interaction with the digital makeup artist based on the analyzed face image, needs of the user, the stored cosmetic routine information, common makeup looks, cosmetic products for skin types and ethnicity, and the user look preferences.

Abstract: Hair compositions and methods for caring for and providing cosmetic benefits to the hair using the compositions are disclosed. The hair care compositions may include about 50 to about 90 wt. % of a polyol; about 0.1 to about 10 wt. % of fatty compounds, the fatty compounds comprising a carbonate and a fatty ether; about 10 to about 35 wt. % of a monoalcohol; and about 0.1 to about 5 wt. % of a cationic surfactant, wherein all weight percentages are based on the total weight of the hair composition. The hair care composition may be formulated to have a weight ratio of the total amount of carbonate to the total amount of fatty ether is about 3:1 to about 1:1.

Abstract: A subject of the present invention is a cosmetic composition comprising 6-hydroxybenzomorpholine of formula (II), hydroxyethyl-3,4-methylenedioxyaniline of formula (III) and oxidation bases. The present invention also relates to a process for dyeing keratin fibres, such as the hair, wherein the composition as described previously is applied to said fibres. Another subject of the present invention is the use of the composition according to the invention for the cosmetic treatment of keratin fibres such as the hair.

Abstract: Devices and methods for electrostatic application of cosmetics are described. In one embodiment, a system for electrostatic deposition of cosmetic material on a surface includes: a housing; a nozzle configured for breaking the cosmetic material into cosmetic particles and for directing the cosmetic particles out of the housing and toward the surface; and a reservoir configured for holding the cosmetic material. The reservoir is connected to the nozzle. The system also includes an airflow conduit configured to provide air to the nozzle; and a nozzle electrode configured proximately to the nozzle. The nozzle electrode is configured to charge the cosmetic particles.
