Abstract: An apparatus and method for identifying the flexor retinaculum of the carpal tunnel, injecting an effective amount of an agent into at least a portion of flexor retinaculum or tissue adjacent thereto, wherein the agent is configured to weaken the flexor retinaculum. The system may further include means for increasing the tensile stress in the flexor retinaculum post-injection using hand exercises, thereby weakening its structural integrity and decreasing the pressure within the carpal tunnel that impairs median nerve function.

Abstract: The embodiments herein relate to a method in a first target CN node for handling handover of a wireless device from a source CN node to another CN node. The first target CN node receives, from the source CN node, a request message to hand over the wireless device. The first target CN node determines that the first target CN node is unsuitable for handover. The first target CN node determines if there is at least one candidate second target CN node suitable for handover. The first target CN node determines whether the request message should be forwarded to the at least one candidate second target CN node or whether the source CN node should be informed regarding if there is at least one candidate second target CN node that is suitable.
Abstract: A first user equipment is configured to mitigate multi-antenna inter-stream interference. A method by the first UE includes determining, based on one or more criteria, a number of multi-antenna streams whose interference can be currently mitigated by the first UE, and transmitting information based on the number of multi-antenna streams to a first network node, to a second network node, and/or to a second UE. A related method by a first network node serving or managing the first UE includes obtaining information based on a number of multi-antenna streams whose interference can be currently mitigated by a first UE at the first UE, and performing one or more radio operational tasks using the information based on the number of multi-antenna streams whose interference can be currently mitigated.

Abstract: In some embodiments, a node associated with a distributed antenna wireless system obtains one or more combined receive signals responsive to a transmission by the wireless device. The distributed antenna wireless system comprises multiple Remote Radio Heads (RRHs) each comprising one or more receivers. Each receive branch of one or more receive branches of the distributed antenna wireless system comprises a combination of one receiver from each of the RRHs. The one or more combined receive signals comprise, for each receive branch, a combined receive signal that is a combination of signals received by the receivers comprised in the receive branch in accordance with different simultaneous ON/OFF patterns assigned to the RRHs for the receive branches. The node analyzes the one or more combined receive signals to determine information indicative of a geographic location of the wireless device.
Abstract: A band saw blade sensor and control system to sense and control saw blade deviation of a continuous, flexible metal saw blade driven around a pair of pulleys. A pair of spaced proximity inductive sensors is positioned adjacent to a side of the saw blade in order to detect blade deviation during operation. A controller mechanism receives input from each of the pair of inductive sensors in order to control and adjust band tension on the blade, and in order to control and adjust blade force on a work piece.
Abstract: Objects, such as, for example, preforms for producing PET bottles, are feedable to silo as bulk material by a bulk material feeding device. A fill level sensor of the silo is connected to the control device. The control device actuates the feed drive in order to refill the silo with objects in dependence on the determined fill level of the silo. Connected downstream of the silo is an overhead conveyor and downstream of the overhead conveyor a separating-into-singles system. Both the overhead conveyor and the separating-into-singles system comprise sensors and drives, all the sensors being connected to the control device and the control device controlling all the drives.
Abstract: A method and a radio node (110) for managing resources for Device-to-Device discovery in an ad-hoc radio communication network are disclosed. The radio node (110) measures, on an amount of resources, received power to obtain values of received power. The values of received power include a respective value of received power for each resource of the amount of resources. The received power includes power of any existing beacon signals received from one or more of the further radio nodes (120, 130, 140). The radio node (110) selects at least one resource out of the amount of resources. The respective value of received power for the selected at least one resource is among the least of the obtained respective values of received power. The radio node (110) broadcasts, to the further radio nodes (120, 130, 140), a beacon signal on the selected at least one resource, wherein the beacon signal includes one or more of the values of received power.
Abstract: An interface system for attaching one or more objects to a truck bedside includes a top plate integrated with a top portion of the truck bedside, a plurality of female connector tubes attached to the top plate and extending into a volume between the top portion of the truck bedside and a wheel well of the truck bed, and a locking bar assembly. A plurality of male connector tubes attached to the one or more objects can be inserted into the female connector tubes and secured to the female connector tubes using the locking bar assembly that can be locked in a locked position by a locking mechanism.

In an embodiment, the method includes exposing the substrate to a cationic solution to produce a cationic layer deposited on the substrate. The cationic solution comprises cationic materials. The cationic materials comprise a melamine. The method further includes exposing the cationic layer to an anionic solution to produce an anionic layer deposited on the cationic layer to produce a layer comprising the anionic layer and the cationic layer. The anionic solution comprises a phosphated molecule.
Abstract: A handle assembly for a power tool includes a main handle having a first end configured to couple to the power tool and a handle bar having a first end coupled to the main handle. The handle bar has an isolation bushing positioned at a first vibration dampening point and configured to dampen vibrations transmitted between the main handle and the handle bar. A vibration dampening assembly couples the handle bar to the main handle at a second vibration dampening point and is configured to further dampen vibrations transmitted between the main handle and the handle bar. The vibration dampening assembly includes a collar that encircles the main handle and a pair of annular resilient member positioned between the collar and the main handle.

Abstract: For controlling radio transmission in a cellular network, a network node detects data traffic between the cellular network and a user equipment. The detected data traffic is based on a transport protocol which involves transmission of an acknowledgement to acknowledge successful reception of data by the user equipment. The network node estimates a time at which sending of an future acknowledgement by the user equipment is expected. On the basis of the estimated time, the network node allocates UL radio resources to the user equipment. By sending an uplink grant, the network node may indicate the allocated uplink radio resources to the user equipment.
