Patent number: 4876943Abstract: To permit single firing in a machine gun by a mechanical method, a trip lever is moved by a control surface attached to the weapon housing during the weapon recoil after triggering a shot. This motion causes the trip lever to disengage a coupling on the crankshaft. Because of this, the trigger plate can return to its starting position by means of spring force, independently of the position of the cocking lever. The recoil breech can then be caught by the trigger in the weapon housing. If the cocking lever is moved back, it again couples because of the spring.Type: GrantFiled: July 7, 1987Date of Patent: October 31, 1989Assignee: Mauser-Werke Oberndorf GmbHInventors: Gerhard Bilger, Helmut Mader, Erich Matzagg

Patent number: 4742621Abstract: A safety device on a quill with a sensing head fixably connected thereto interrupts a positioning motion of the quill in case of a collision of the sensing head. For this purpose there is fastened to the quill a mounting plate 6, on which rests a bearing plate on at least three balls 20. The sensing head is fixable to the bearing plate. Several switches and switching cams assigned to them are offset relative to the balls on the bearing plate. In case of a collision of the sensing head, the bearing plate is deflected relative to the mounting plate, thereby causing at least one switch to interrupt the driving motion of the quill.Type: GrantFiled: December 12, 1986Date of Patent: May 10, 1988Assignee: Mauser-Werke Oberndorf GmbHInventors: Manfred Mayer, Gerhard Band

Patent number: 4660296Abstract: A sensing head of a measuring machine comprises three straight line guiding systems for respective x, y and Z directions. For weight compensation of each single straight line guiding system, a first spring pair is arranged between a fixed beam element and a beam of the first straight line guiding system. This compensates the weight loading the first straight line guiding system. Between the beam of the first straight line guiding system and a beam of the second straight line guiding system, a second spring pair is arranged which compensates the weight loading the second straight line guiding system. Between the beam of the second straight line guiding system and a beam of the third straight line guiding system, a third spring pair is arranged which compensates the weight loading the third straight line guiding system.Type: GrantFiled: March 21, 1985Date of Patent: April 28, 1987Assignee: Mauser-Werke Oberndorf GmbHInventors: Otto Klingler, Kurt Linder

Patent number: 4651439Abstract: The invention relates to a quill for coordinate measuring machines of square cross-section and guided by a total of eight bearing parts within a guiding part. Three bearing parts which bear against quill surfaces are located adjacent the upper and in the lower ends of the guide surfaces in the guiding part. Two more bearing parts are provided in a Z direction approximately between the upper and lower bearing parts. Due to the special configuration of the bearing parts relative to each other and the horizontally acting springs inserted in certain bearing parts the twisting of the quill is determined and also the specified quill twisting accuracy of two angular seconds max. is obtained.Type: GrantFiled: August 13, 1985Date of Patent: March 24, 1987Assignee: Mauser-Werke Oberndorf GmbHInventors: Gerhard Band, Gunter Berger, Kurt Walter

Patent number: 4630928Abstract: In a length measuring device with a measuring transducer system, the curve of two sinusoidal test signals is dependent on the longitudinal movement of the measuring transducer system. An interpolation circuit delivers two high-resolution rectangular pulse sequences F1, F2 corresponding to the interpolated sinusoidal voltages and offset by 90.degree., to an evaluating circuit. To achieve a high-resolution at low speeds of travel and a low-resolution at high speeds, two rectangular pulse sequences S1, S2 or G1, G2, offset by 90.degree. and giving a low-resolution, are additionally derived at the interpolation circuit. A control logic circuit 19 monitors the test voltages for attainment of a certain value of the longitudinal movement per unit time or speed of travel.Type: GrantFiled: March 21, 1985Date of Patent: December 23, 1986Assignee: Mauser-Werke Oberndorf GmbHInventors: Otto Klingler, Siegfried Gruhler
