Abstract: Compositions and methods are provided for use in controlling souring and corrosion causing prokaryotes, such as SRP, by treating oil and gas field environments or treatment fluids with a newly identified bacterial strain ATCC Accession No. PTA-124262 as a self-propagating whole cell that produces an anti-SRP bacteriocin in situ. In another aspect, the methods use one or more toxic peptides or proteins isolated therefrom in methods to control unwanted prokaryotic growth in these environments.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a method of diagnosing the primary lesions that give rise to a chronic condition or incorrect structure in myofascial units and associated structures in a human patient. The invention also relates to a method of therapeutic treatment of the diagnosed conditions, in particular by application of a variable vacuum stimulus.
Abstract: The invention relates to products by processes, product compositions, product formulations and product uses that are all related to reduced ultrapure water cluster sizes in an aqueous composition containing a non-H2O substance in the reduced size water clusters in order to improve bioavailability of the aqueous composition. The invention processes use higher flow rate of the blended aqueous composition from a jet openings of a nozzle inside the hollow cylinder to reduce sizes of the ultrapure water clusters in the blended aqueous composition of the non-H2O substance to less than 300 nanometers.

Abstract: The invention relates to an at least partly stratified (such as at least partly dual stratified) charge combustion engine, especially CAI (combustion assisted ignition), HCC, HCSI and HCCI engine, in which the combustion of a hydrocarbon containing fuel generating a flame emitting photon is operated in a chamber with a wall provided with a cerium oxide-carbon containing coating, said coating further comprising at least comprising oxides of the followings elements Pr, Nd, La and at least Y and/or Zr. The engine of the invention enables a catalytic reduction of NOx exhaust rate.
Abstract: The present invention addresses the problem of providing modified gluten capable of imparting excellent freezing tolerance to a bread dough and a method for manufacturing the modified gluten. Provided is a method for manufacturing modified gluten which comprises a step for heating a solution containing gluten together with an organic acid having two or more carbonyl groups per molecule, said organic acid being used in an amount of 1 part by weight or more per 100 parts by weight of gluten, at 70° C. or higher for 30 minutes or longer.
Abstract: The present invention relates to computer capture of object motion. More specifically, embodiments of the present invention relate to capturing of facial movement or performance of an actor. Embodiments of the present invention provide a head-mounted camera system that allows the movements of an actor's face to be captured separately from, but simultaneously with, the movements of the actor's body. In many embodiments, multiple cameras are provided mounted on a bracket for placement on the head of an actor. In some embodiments, the cameras record grayscale images of an actor's face, which has been marked with dots of makeup. In many embodiments, the cameras record images of an actor's face from at least two angles.
Abstract: Provided herein are systems and methods for the facile extraction and purification of oils from plant material, including cannabis and hemp. The systems and methods herein are versatile, and may utilize a wide range of solvents to extract oils from a variety of plant-based material. Further, the provided systems and methods are closed loop, reducing the loss solvent and decreasing the risk of safety concerns such as human exposure to solvent chemicals or explosion of volatiles. In some embodiments, the systems and methods remove impurities from the extracted oils, for example waxes or other precipitates, and provide a higher purity and higher quality extract.
