The illumination device (20) has a holder, which can be connected to an electrical current source, for an illumination means (40), wherein a switch, which interrupts or opens the electrical connection in the event of a predetermined position of the door or flap or withdrawable part in relation to the body, is provided in the electrical connection between the current source and the illuminations means.

Abstract: A furniture hinge including a carcass hinge part (2) that can be fastened to a furniture carcass (1), a door leaf hinge part (3) that can be fastened to a door leaf (3), and at least one articulated lever (5, 6) for the articulated connection of the carcass hinge part (2) to the door leaf hinge part (4), with the articulated lever (5, 6) being connected to a hinge arm (11) of the carcass hinge part (2) such that it can pivot around a pivot axis (7, 9). The hinge arm (11) is adjustable for the depth adjustment of the door leaf (3) in reference to the furniture carcass (1) in a direction of its longitudinal direction in reference to a retaining part (16) of the carcass hinge part (2) via an eccentric (14) acting between the hinge arm (11) and the retaining part (16), with its pivot axis (23) being aligned parallel in reference to the pivot axis (7, 9) of at least one articulated lever (5, 6).

Abstract: A furniture fitting including frame sections which are preferably extruded and are intended to enclose furniture parts in the form of plates or panels, wherein the flame sections have an open groove extending in the longitudinal direction receive and retain a retaining part of the fitting. The groove is narrowed by two shoulders which are parallel to one another with end faces facing one another, wherein the retaining part has a flange portion which can be supported on the free upper face of the shoulders and in which there is provided at least one bore for rotatably retaining the shank, which engages in the groove, of a clamping element which selectively fixes the retaining part on the frame section or releases it for disassembly or longitudinal displacement in the longitudinal direction of the groove.

Abstract: The invention relates to a damping device for parts of furniture which are joined together by means of hinges and which can be pivoted in relation to each other. The housing contains a damping fluid in the cavity thereof and a resistance element which can be displaced relative to the dumping fluid and connected to an actuating element protruding from the housing. During at least one part of the pivoting movement of both pieces of furniture, said actuating element is drivingly connected to the second piece of furniture and transfers the movement distributed to the second piece of furniture to the resistance element. The damping device is arranged in the region of at least one of the hinges which pivotally couples both pieces of furniture, and whereby either the damping housing and/or the actuating element engages with one of the mounting element of the corresponding hinges, at least during the damping process.

Abstract: The invention relates to a damping device for parts of furniture which are joined together by means of hinges and which can be pivoted in relation to each other. The housing contains a damping fluid in the cavity thereof and a resistance element which can be displaced relative to the damping fluid and connected to an actuating element protruding from the housing. During at least one part of the pivoting movement of both pieces of furniture, said actuating element is drivingly connected to the second piece of furniture and transfers the movement distributed to the second piece of furniture to the resistance element. The base plate (12) is provided in its underside facing the carcass supporting wall with a flat recess of large surface area in which a planar adjusting plate with a thickness substantially equal to the internal depth of the recess is adjustably disposed so as to be movable in at least one co-ordinate direction.

Abstract: The invention relates to a multi-link hinge (10) for hinging a door leaf (12) to the body of a piece of furniture with a body fitting which may be fixed to the support wall (14) of the body and a door leaf fitting (20) connected to the above by means of a joint mechanism. The support wall fitting, embodied as an extended support arm is arranged on a fitting plate (18) which may be fixed to the support wall of the body and coupled to the door leaf fitting, embodied as a hinge cup fitted in a recess in the back face of the door leaf (12), by means of the joint mechanism, embodied with two joint arms (22; 24) each connected to one of the fittings such as to pivot. A damping device acts on a support wall side hinge piece, for example the body fitting (16) or the fixing plate (18) and one of the joint arms (24), at least during a locking part of the pivoting motion of said joint arm on a closing or opening motion of the door leaf fitting (20).

Abstract: Furniture hinge (10) for pivotally mounting a door leaf (12) to a cupboard body whose door-side front is narrowed by a frame that projects inwardly at a right angle to the side walls. The hinge has a hinge arm (24) made of sheet metal and provided with a mounting plate (28) on the side facing the cupboard body. The mounting plate (28) can be releaseably secured in superposition with a fastening plate (34) disposed on the free end face (18) of a frame element (16) of the frame that faces away from the side wall. At least one slot-like elongated through opening (30; 36) is provided in the mounting plate (28) and in the fastening plate (34), through which opening the shank of a fastening screw (32) can be screwed into the frame element.

The leg spring is constructed as a double leg spring (42) with a middle double leg (44) of two parallel leg arms, protruding between two groups of spring coils (47) from, in each case, one of the inner spring coils, and two outer legs (46), protruding from the in each case outermost spring coil of each group.

At the upper mounting plate part, a swivel lock (54), with the locking surfaces of the projection or the projections (64) of the lower mounting plate part (30), is assigned to the projection (64). The swivel lock is place under tension by a spring (56) in a position forcing the locking engagement surfaces (76) into an engagement position with the locking surfaces (68).

The fastening stud or studs can be shifted between a mounting position in which the at least one knife-edged projection is withdrawn into the interior of the associated bore, and a fastening position in which they cut into the wall of the fastening bore.

Abstract: A subsurface pullout guide (10) with a guiding rail (12), constructed as a profiled rail, which is to be fastened to the carcass wall, and with a running rail (26), which is disposed in the region of the bottom of the drawer and supported longitudinally displaceably on the guiding rail by rolling bodies (20, 22), which are held in a cage (24). A hollow profiled section, the cross section of which is identical with that of the running rail (26), is hinged to the end of the running rail (26) within the carcass so that it can be swiveled from a first position, aligned with the running rail and directly adjoining its end within the carcass, into a second position, which extends, on the other hand, essentially parallel to the rear wall of the drawer.

Abstract: A metal fitting for furniture, which can be installed without tools in a recess in a panel-shaped furniture part. The metal fitting for furniture has a holding part, at the upper, free edge of which a radially protruding flange is provided, which can be guided in contact with the outside of the furniture part, and is provided with a clamping element, which can be propped open by a handle in clamping contact with the wall of the recess. The clamping element is constructed as a hoop, which extends over a portion of the height and a portion of the periphery of the holding part and, in its extent, is adapted essentially to the contour of the recess. On both sides of the hoop, lever shoulders, which are linked at the flange or in the vicinity of the flange at the holding part so that they can be swiveled about a common axis, are provided.

Abstract: A fitting for holding rollers of roller pull-out guides, for the rear wall of drawers, below the bottom and next to a side wall of the drawer, and protruding beyond the underside of the bottom. The longitudinal edges of the bottom of the drawer are held in grooves in the respectively assigned side walls of the drawer. The roller is rotatably mounted on a bearing flange section of the holding fitting, which can be mounted on the drawer. The bearing flange section protrudes downwards at right angles from a panel-shaped supporting flange section that can be fastened in horizontal abutment to the underside of the bottom of the drawer at a distance from and parallel to the side wall of the drawer. At least one matching flange section is provided at a distance from the bearing flange section and essentially parallel to the supporting flange section.

Abstract: A fastening plug for mounting furniture hardware having an expandable sleeve into which an elongated shaft of an expander enters, the shaft having a head for rotating the expander relative to the sleeve. The elongated shaft of the expander has multiple expansion sections along the length of the shaft and which taper in the direction of the protruding end of the shaft. The central bore of the sleeve which receives the elongated shaft of the expander, is shaped so as to complement the shaft, and the position of the complementary, tapering expansion sections of the shaft is varied relative to the complementary tapered central bore sections in the sleeve when the expander is rotated relative to the expansion sleeve.

Abstract: A fastening arrangement for guide rails of pull-out guides for drawers within the carcase of cabinets which have a narrow opening in the front relative to the interior width between the side walls of the carcase, the guide rails having a length which is less than the depth of the carcase. An extended metal distance profile having a length greater than the distance between the end of the guide rail while in its installation position at the front end of the carcase and the rear wall of the carcase is provided at the end of the guide rail. The distance profile is brought into an overlapping position with the guide rail and bridges the distance between end of the guide rail and the rear wall. The end of the distance profile, averted from the guide rail, is installed in a metal holding fitting provided at the rear wall of the carcase. The guide rail is connected to the distance profile in the mutually overlapping region.

(14), which can be mounted on the respectively assigned carcass wall, the guide rails, in their front end region outside of the carcass, having at least one roller (24) rolling on the roller path (26) of the assigned side wall (12) of the drawer.

A flange extending outward against the back of the door is integral with the rim of the cup part, and retaining members are provided at the flattened sides, which can be spread apart by means of a handle provided on the flange in order to drive them into the wall of the mortise. On the bottom of the flange one or more centering pins can be provided for engagement in holes adjacent the mortise. Each retaining member (52) reaches substantially across the height of the associated flat in the cup part and through an opening in the mounting flange, and can swing radially on the cup part.

Abstract: Furniture hinge for hanging a door on a cabinet carcase whose door-side front face is narrowed by a frame formed of stick-like frame members reaching inward at right angles from the side walls and at least partially overlapping the inside of the door in the closed position, the hinge having a hinge arm of sheet metal which has a fastening plate which can be placed on the free edge face of a member of the frame remote from the side wall, has a width substantially corresponding to the width of the edge face of the frame member, bears the actual arm section coupled by a linkage to the hinge part attached to the door, and is provided with a slot running in the longitudinal direction of the edge face of the frame member, the width of the slot being substantially equal to the diameter of the shaft of the fastening screw, and at least one tab being created on the back edge of the fastening plate pointing into the cabinet interior which is bent substantially at right angles against the cabinet-interior face of the fr
