Abstract: A method includes receiving a request from a user device accessing a webpage, the request including a webpage uniform resource locator (URL) and a user device identifier. The method includes retrieving a list of events associated with the user device based on the device identifier. The method further includes retrieving sets of rules. Each set of rules indicates events and URLs that satisfy the set of rules. Each set of rules is associated with a template that includes link rendering data for rendering a link on the user device. The method includes identifying a set of rules that is satisfied by the received URL and events, transmitting link rendering data associated with the identified set of rules to the user device, and transmitting link routing data to the user device. The link routing data is configured to route the user device to an application state corresponding to the webpage.

Abstract: A method includes receiving first event data from a device, the first event data including a first identifier (ID) that identifies the device, web browser metadata, and data associated with an application state. The method includes generating a first persona including the first ID and a first event identifier that identifies a first user action. The method includes receiving second event data, the second event data including device metadata and a second ID that identifies the device. The method includes generating a second persona based on the second event data, the second persona including the second ID and a second event identifier that identifies a second user action. Additionally, the method includes determining that the first and second personas are associated with the device based on matches between the browser metadata and device metadata and transmitting a response to the device configured to route the device to the application state.

Abstract: A contextual deep linking server receives a request associated with a valid contextual deep link from a client device, the contextual deep link associated with link data indicating a particular configuration of an application. The server also receives, after determining that the client device has stored a previously generated fingerprint, stored contextual information for the client device identified by a locally stored fingerprint that matches the previously generated fingerprint. The server then generates, after determining that the client device does not have the previously generated fingerprint, a unique fingerprint of the client device based on a plurality of characteristics of the client device and determining contextual information of the request based on a characteristic of the client device. The server also transmits a response to the client device that is selected based on the contextual information of the client device such that the response is operable on the client device.

Abstract: The invention relates to a respirator mask having a mask body, at least one exhalation valve and at least one inhalation valve, at least one filter module allocated to the inhalation valve, and at least one coupling element arranged on the mask body and provided to fasten at least one head fastening strap engaging the head of a user from behind. It is provided that the coupling element for fastening the filter module to the mask body in a detachable manner comprises at least one holding projection which can be displaced from a position locking the filter module in place on the mask body to a position releasing the filter module.
Abstract: A light weight headphone insertable into a human ear canal having a curved portion leading to the ear drum. A main body element having a passageway through the main body element. An elongated hollow stem having two ends, one end attached to the passageway in the main body, the other end terminating in a handle. A speaker located in the handle and sound transmitted from the speaker through the hollow stem and the main body to the ear canal. The hollow stem member having a portion with a wavy configuration. Rotation of the hollow stem member will fit the hollow stem member around the curved portion in the human ear canal and seat the main body deeply in the ear canal to acoustically block the ear canal from outside noise and transmit the sound from the speaker in close proximity to the ear drum.
Abstract: Technologies are described herein for determining characteristics of a plurality of people at an event. A method may include receiving location information about a plurality of active mobile phones, receiving sentiment information relating to the plurality of people, the sentiment information including at least one identifier of the event, determining at least one characteristic about the plurality of people based at least in part on the location information and the sentiment information, aggregating the sentiment information, classifying the aggregated sentiment information as either favorable or unfavorable with respect to the event, and calculating a statistical confidence level indicating an extent the aggregated sentiment information of the particular group correlates with the plurality of people. The location information may include at least one identifier of a geographical location and a time period.
Abstract: Technologies are described herein for determining popularity of an individual. A popularity profiling server is used to receive information of the individual, analyze a quantitative data portion of the information, and analyze a qualitative data portion of the information using sentiment analysis. The sentiment analysis uses natural language parsing to separate the qualitative data into parts of speech. The popularity profiling server calculates an initial set of scores for the popularity of the individual based on the analysis of the quantitative data portion and the qualitative data portion of the information, update a ranking for the popularity of the individual in a database, and determine, after waiting a predetermined amount of time, if new data has been updated to the information on the information server. If new information has been updated, an updated set of scores are calculated.
Abstract: Disclosed are methods and systems for significantly compressing sparse multidimensional ordered series data comprised of indexed data sets, wherein each data set comprises an index, a first variable and a second variable. The methods and systems are particularly suited for compression of data recorded in double precision floating point format.
Abstract: Embodiments of a computer system, a method, and a computer-program product (e.g., software) for analyzing tandem-mass-spectrometry data are described. Using this analysis technique, unanticipated chemical modifications to peptides associated with proteins can be identified. In particular, a modification called a wild-card modification is used to identify the most likely chemical modifications in the peptides. A wild-card modification allows the addition of any mass, typically any integer atomic mass within a range, to any one amino acid residue within a candidate peptide.
Abstract: Examples of systems and methods for wagering on an artist are disclosed. In one example according to aspects of the present disclosure, a computer implemented method for wagering on an artist includes: obtaining, by an electronic exchange of a wagering system server, an initial value for a metric related to the artist from a popularity profiling system server; receiving, by the electronic exchange, a transaction request from a client computer, wherein the transaction request relates to a wager on a future value of the metric related to the artist; generating, by the electronic exchange, a wager metric related to the transaction; and predicting, by a prediction engine of a wagering system server, the future value of the metric related to the artist based on the initial value of the metric and the wager metric.
Abstract: The present disclosure describes a method for determining spinal instability, more particularly, a method for quantifying the type and extent of spinal instability in a standardized way. The disclosure also describes a method comprising measurement of the intervertebral rotation and intervertebral translation between a vertebrae pair using simple images, and from these measurements, determining if one or more vertebrae pair of the spine is unstable. Finally, the disclosure describes software that may be used to quantify the type and extent of spinal instability.

Abstract: A clamp for adjustably joining the ends of a strap having ends. The clamp has top and bottom members, and at least one of the top and bottom members has a groove extending from one side to the other side of the clamp. The groove receives the ends of the strap so first portions of the ends of the strap are within the groove and at least one other second portion of the strap extends outward from the sides of the clamp. Complementary aligning portions are located on the top and bottom members to align the top and bottom members to capture the first portions of the ends of the strap by friction within the groove formed within the clamp. The length of the strap is adjusted by the second portion of the strap that extend outward from the sides of the clamp.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a filter material for respirator masks. The filter material comprises a filter material layer that is pleated so as to form a plurality of folds, said filter material layer comprising a filter layer and a first netting layer. The invention is characterized in that the filter material layer comprises a second netting layer disposed on the filter layer on the side opposite to said first netting layer. The invention additionally relates to a respirator mask comprising such a filter material.
