Patent number: 8834952Abstract: The present invention relates to the formulation and process for preparation of a fried egg product that may be frozen for future heating in a microwave or other oven or griddle, for consumption by an individual. Various ingredients are added and mixed to each of the liquid egg white and liquid egg yolk portions. The liquid egg white portion is preheated and then deposited within a mold for slow cooking under controlled temperature and humidity conditions. The liquid egg yolk portion is preheated and then added to the mold for placement on the egg white portion. Following a short period of cooking, the mold containing the formulated fried eggs is transported to a freezer unit for freezing, then is removed from the mold for packaging and storage. Patent number: 8774704Abstract: A system, method, and computer-readable medium are disclosed for the automated processing and scoring of applications. Application reader resources are selected to read and score individual categories of the application. The difference between the respective reader scores and an average delta value for each category of each application that the selected readers have previously score is calculated. The standard deviation of the average delta value for each category is calculated. If the selected reader's score for that category is not within one standard deviation of the average delta value, then the selected reader's score is adjusted the least amount necessary to be so. An additional application reader is selected to read and score the application. Reading and scoring operations are continued until at least two reader scores are within one standard deviation of the average of the adjusted scores. Final scoring of all applications is performed and the scored applications are ranked in descending order.Type: GrantFiled: March 10, 2010Date of Patent: July 8, 2014Assignee: Michael & Susan Dell FoundationInventors: Marita Kurian, Adam Miller, Oscar Sweeten-Lopez, Kevin Byrne

Patent number: 8759252Abstract: The various embodiments of the invention relates to the composition of a hydrogen sulfide capture material and the related method of manufacture. The hydrogen sulfide capture material is formed by solubilizing an iron source in acid to form an aqueous solution comprising iron chloride, neutralizing the aqueous solution with a caustic solution to form a neutralized solution, washing the neutralized solution to separate it into water and a slurry, forming a thickened slurry by removing additional water from the slurry, separating the thickened slurry to produce filtered water and a wet filter cake, and drying the wet filter cake to form granules. The hydrogen sulfide capture material of the present invention removes hydrogen sulfide for a longer time and at a faster rate than the materials of the prior art, thereby improving the efficiency and decreasing the cost of sour gas treatment.Type: GrantFiled: March 25, 2013Date of Patent: June 24, 2014Assignee: Michael D. and Anita KayeInventor: Michael D. Patent number: 8746240Abstract: A personal vapor inhaling unit is disclosed. An electronic flameless vapor inhaler unit that may simulate a cigarette has a cavity that receives a cartridge in the distal end of the inhaler unit. The cartridge brings a substance to be vaporized in contact with a wick. When the unit is activated, and the user provides suction, the substance to be vaporized is drawn out of the cartridge, through the wick, and is atomized by the wick into a cavity containing a heating element. The heating element vaporizes the atomized substance. The vapors then continue to be pulled by the user through a mouthpiece and mouthpiece cover where they may be inhaled.Type: GrantFiled: May 15, 2010Date of Patent: June 10, 2014Assignee: Nate Terry & Michael Edward BreedeInventors: Nathan Andrew Terry, Noah Mark Minskoff

Patent number: 8689814Abstract: A regulated automatic changeover valve is provided. A device engages the first and second high pressure gas source for providing a lower pressure gas source downstream of the changeover valve. An eccentric is provided between two valve assemblies, with each valve assembly having a piston with a valve arm projecting therefrom. The eccentric moves a block selectively closer to one of the two valve assemblies. Each valve assembly is engaged to a high pressure source, such as a tank of compressed gas. When a first tank begins to run low, the valve will automatically begin drawing from the second valve assembly. A tank that has run low of compressed gas may be changed out while the second, non-exhausted gas continues to feed the downstream device at a regulated gas pressure.Type: GrantFiled: March 24, 2011Date of Patent: April 8, 2014Assignee: Michael D.
