Abstract: A woodworking spindle has a spindle shaft disposed in a spindle housing. One or more rotary bearings support the spindle shaft in the spindle housing. One or more temperature sensors are provided that detect the temperature of the one or more rotary bearings. An evaluation unit is provided and temperature signals generated by the temperature sensors are supplied to the evaluation unit that generates output signals based on evaluation of the temperature signals generated by the temperature sensors. In a method for monitoring the temperature of rotary bearings of a spindle of a woodworking machine, the temperature of the rotary bearings is permanently detected and rotary bearing temperature signals are generated. The rotary bearing temperature signals are sent to an evaluation unit and compared with a first temperature limit value. A first output signal is generated when the temperature signals reach a first temperature limit value.
Abstract: A clamping device for an adjustable stop of a processing machine for guiding workpieces through the processing machine is provided with at least one clamping part that clamps the stop against at least one counter stop. The clamping part is provided on a transmission element, wherein the transmission element is acted upon with a force (F1) that is converted into a clamping force (F2) acting upon the clamping part. A release unit is provided for releasing the clamping action. The transmission element is a two-armed lever, one arm of which is acted upon with the force (F1) in the form of a compressive force and the other arm of which generates the clamping force (F2).

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a method and a system for quantifying timing discrepancies between inspiratory effort and ventilatory assist. A trigger error is determined by comparing a start time of neural inspiration with a start time of the ventilatory assist. A cycling-off error is determined by comparing an end time of the neural inspiration with an end time of the ventilatory assist. The ventilatory assist is synchronized when the trigger error is lower than a first threshold and the cycling-off error is lower than a second threshold. The ventilatory assist may also be characterized in terms of early or late trigger and of early or late cycling-off. A trigger of a ventilator may be adjusted according to the trigger error and a cycling-off of a ventilator may be adjusted according to the cycling-off error.

Abstract: The invention concerns computer systems that are specially adapted to propagate content over a dynamic network, substantially in real time, by virtue of the locational proximity of interconnected network-joined Client Computers, at least one of which communicates with an interconnected Client Computer via infrared signal, laser pulse, or radio frequency. Preferably, the content will also be weighted (for example, proximity-weighted, rank-weighted, topic-weighted, query-weighted, time-weighted, location-weighted, locality-weighted, vote-weighted, segment-weighted, geophysically-weighted, etc.). The invention particularly concerns such computer systems that employ more than one such weighting. The invention particularly concerns such computer systems that operate using, or through, mobile devices, particularly for distributed computing applications, including social media applications and communications applications conducted over Restricted Computer Networks.

Abstract: An automated system and method for assisting in decision making for the treatment of stroke patients is provided, and specifically for assisting a physician whether the patient should be administered a drug or transferred to another hospital to undergo an endovascular thrombectomy procedure. A variety of factors are input into the system with limited human intervention and a tool automatically determines the probability of whether the patient will have a better outcome if transferred or not. The factors include clinical factors, imaging factors and time to transfer factors. The tool includes processes for automatically determining several imaging factors, including the determination of clot length, collateral blood flow, the presence of forward blood flow within and around the clot, and the clot permeability. The tool has capability to continuously update the treatment protocol and other output results using current clinical, health system or other relevant information or feedback.

Abstract: A baking process includes placing a baked goods carrier onto a work surface and filling the baked goods carrier with pieces of dough. Display data may be transmitted using a computer to a digitally controlled display apparatus close to the work surface for displaying a desired filling. The actual filling may be captured by an image recording apparatus and transmitted to the computer. The captured data of the actual filling may be evaluated using the computer and compared to data relating to the desired filling. The computer may be used to act on the filling process and/or the baking process.

Abstract: An anchor comprises a substantially non-conducting housing including a series of collet apertures; flexible strands; collets; and a water bed engaging part. Each collet is adapted to engage one of the flexible strands and secure it in a respective one of the collet apertures of the housing. The anchor formed such that when it is in use the water bed engaging part can be located on the bed of a body of water with the strands extending upwards for use in securing an item at or near the surface of the water, the strands being able to expand and contract lengthwise to resist breaking due to pulling of the item.

Abstract: The clamping device is provided for tools and has a coupling piece that is provided with at least one actuating unit. The coupling piece acts to actuate a nut seated on a spindle journal that is receiving the tool. A torque coupling is provided for the nut. The coupling piece is fixedly connected with an output shaft that is in drive connection with a drive shaft by a transmission gear. As a result of the transmission gear, it is possible to rotate the drive shaft with minimal moment in order to apply the great clamping force required for axial clamping of the tool.

Abstract: The present invention relates to the formulation and process for preparation of a fried egg product that may be frozen for future heating in a microwave or other oven or griddle, for consumption by an individual. Various ingredients are added and mixed to each of the liquid egg white and liquid egg yolk portions. The liquid egg white portion is preheated and then deposited within a mold for slow cooking under controlled temperature and humidity conditions. The liquid egg yolk portion is preheated and then added to the mold for placement on the egg white portion. Following a short period of cooking, the mold containing the formulated fried eggs is transported to a freezer unit for freezing, then is removed from the mold for packaging and storage. At a future time, the frozen formulated fried egg product may be thawed and reheated for consumption by an individual.
