Abstract: A printer simplifying a sheet feed mechanism, allowing feeding amount of a sheet to be constant regardless of thickness of the sheet, and facilitating installation of an ink ribbon cassette. The printer comprises a printing mechanism, a sheet feed mechanism, and a driving mechanism of the sheet feed mechanism which are respectively mounted on a chassis, wherein the printing mechanism and a driven roller of the sheet feed mechanism are mounted on a fixed frame fixed to the chassis, and driving rollers of the sheet feed mechanism and the driving mechanism of the sheet feed mechanism are supported on a swing frame swingably fixed to the chassis relative to the fixed frame. There is formed a space portion on the fixed frame for facilitating installation and removal of an ink ribbon cassette.
Abstract: Computer apparatus 10 provides the working condition of fan 12 therein to user display device 10D. Fan 12 has rotating blade 12B for moving a flow of convective cooling air. The fan also has motor winding 12W which receives working current for causing the blade to rotate. Current monitoring circuit 14 is responsive to the working current for determining the present fan working condition. Display message generator 16 is responsive to the present fan working condition from the current monitoring circuit for generating a user message containing the present fan working condition. A central processing unit (CPU chip) 10C controls the operation of the computer apparatus. The CPU employs a multi-task operating system such as 3.1 windows which permits non-disruptive interruption of system functions in order to the present user message containing the present fan working condition to the user display monitor.
Abstract: A method of ultrasonic welding for a resin case in which an ultrasonic vibration is applied to the resin case in a direction parallel to the welding surface.
Abstract: A lead terminal connection structure of an electroacoustic transducer comprises a lead terminal member having a pair of lead terminals integrated via a bridge piece. The lead terminals have solder surfaces to be soldered to the surface of a circuit board of another device on which an electroacoustic transducer is to be installed. When the lead terminal member is attached to a circuit board of the electroacoustic transducer and the bridge piece is cut, the pair of lead terminals become separate from each other.
Abstract: A terminal connection method of a coil comprises the steps of arranging coil terminals of a coil on lead terminals; removing insulating coats of the coil terminals to expose core wires; and applying an electric conductivity adhesive to connected portions of the coil terminals and the lead terminals. A terminal connection structure of a coil comprises coil terminals arranged on lead terminals, with insulating coats removed from the coil terminals; and an electric conductivity adhesive applied to connected portions of the coil terminals and the lead terminals.
Abstract: A carriage driver includes a cam shaft having a shaft, a cylinder provided around the shaft and made of material of which thermal expansion coefficient is different from that of the shaft, and a cam groove provided on the cylinder, a carriage motor which rotatively drives the cam shaft, a carriage having a print head and movably mounted on the cam shaft, and a prohibiting mechanism provided at boundaries between the shaft and the cylinder of the cam shaft and simultaneously at ends of printing area, in order to prohibit distortion of the cam shaft in an axial direction due to change in temperature.
Abstract: A printer in which print densities of print heads can be adjusted simply and rapidly and set to have an optimum impact force, and a method of adjusting a print density are provided. Concretely, print density patterns which can be set at regular steps toward the high and low density sides of a predetermined density are generated. On the basis of the print density patterns, printing is conducted on a recording medium. A pattern in which a desired print density appears is selected and the print densities of the print heads are absolutely or relatively adjusted.
Abstract: A magnetic display erasing apparatus is provided wherein the distance by which an erasing head is moved when an unerasing operation is to be performed can be made as short as possible, thereby allowing the apparatus to be miniaturized and various designs obtained. A magnetic stripe an a magnetic display sheet are formed on a magnetic card. An erasing head is disposed on the side of the back face of the magnetic card which is conveyed. During an erasing operation, a magnetic field which is substantially parallel is formed at the position where the magnetic display sheet passes. When the magnetic display sheet is not to be erased, the erasing head is retracted from a card conveying path and then housed in a magnetic shield so as to be hermetically sealed. Accordingly, the magnetic field from the erasing head is weakened and cannot reach the magnetic display sheet.
Abstract: An automatic lathe includes a pair of gang tool posts disposed on opposite sides of a headstock. The headstock has a main spindle and is movable axially of the main spindle, and the pair of gang tool posts are independently movable in respective two directions perpendicular to each other and perpendicular to the axial direction. Pitches between work tools on one of the gang tool posts differ from pitches between work tools on the other gang tool post such that when a free-end position of an arbitrary work tool of a first gang tool post is aligned with that of an arbitrary work tool of a second gang tool post, free-end positions of the other work tools of the first gang tool post mutually differ from those of the other work tools of the second gang tool post.
