Abstract: A switchblade includes a casing that defines a cavity. A blade having a cutting edge has a retracted position in which the cutting edge is inside the cavity and a deployed position in which the cutting edge is outside the cavity. A spring is operably connected to the blade to bias the blade to the deployed position. An actuator is releasably engaged with the blade, and operation of the actuator allows the blade to move between the retracted position and the deployed position. A safety lever that extends through at least a portion of the casing lever has a lock position that prevents operation of the actuator and an unlock position that permits operation of the actuator.
Abstract: An alignment aid for a suppressor includes a sleeve having an external surface and an internal surface. An alignment slot extends longitudinally along the external surface of the sleeve. A groove is in the internal surface, and a strip is at least partially in the groove. A set screw is engaged with the strip to bias the strip radially inward from the groove.
Abstract: A suppressor for a firearm includes a casing and a plurality of baffles inside the casing. A retainer is releasably coupled to the casing downstream from the plurality of baffles, and the retainer has a downstream surface. A rear cap is releasably coupled to the casing upstream from the plurality of baffles, and the rear cap has an upstream surface and a downstream surface. A downstream rear cap surface feature is defined by the downstream surface of the rear cap and has a complementary shape to the downstream surface of the retainer. When the rear cap is removed from the casing, the downstream rear cap surface feature can engage with the downstream surface of the retainer to remove the retainer from the casing.

Abstract: A switchblade includes a casing that defines a cavity. A blade has a cutting edge with a retracted position in which the cutting edge is inside the cavity and a deployed position in which the cutting edge is outside of the cavity. An actuator is slidably engaged with the casing. A front lock is inside the cavity and engaged with the blade in the deployed position, and a rear lock is inside the cavity and engaged with the blade in the retracted position. A slider inside the cavity has a first side opposed to a second side, and the slider defines a front sloped surface and a rear sloped surface. A tab is releasably connected to the slider and engaged with the actuator.
Abstract: A folding knife includes a handle having a butt end opposed to a head end. A blade is pivotally connected to the head end of the handle. The blade has a cutting edge, a retracted position in which at least a portion of the cutting edge is inside the handle, and an extended position in which a majority of the cutting edge is outside the handle. A spring bar is connected to the handle and has a first end biased toward the blade at the head end of the handle. An insert is connected to the first end of the spring bar and separates the first end of the spring bar from the blade when the blade moves between the retracted and extended positions.
