Abstract: A pipe molding die of the present invention is capable of rectifying a flow of a molten resin by a resin reservoir and uniformizing the flow of the resin extruded from the die in whichever position in a peripheral direction on a flow path within the die. Consequently, ununiformity in wall thickness of the resin pipe to be molded can be eliminated. The pipe molding die comprises a throttle part as one of components thereof, which includes a core, a shell part fitted to the core and a resin reservoir as a portion of a flow path which is formed between the core and the shell part. A molten, resin as a pipe raw material flows through the flow path. The resin reservoir is provided in at least one of the core and the shell part, and takes a ring-like shape circumscribing a central axis of the pipe molding die with the central axis centered. The resin reservoir assumes a recessed shape in cross-section.
Abstract: A method for the production of a glass substrate for magnetic recording mediums is herein provided and this method is characterized in that the final cleaning step is performed in two stages, in which scrubbing and dip-cleaning steps are carried out after the completion of the first cleaning stage and after the growth of needle-like projections comprising an alkali metal carbonate on the surface of the glass substrate. The method for the production of a glass substrate for magnetic recording mediums does not require the use of an expensive device having high resistance to acids. Moreover, in the glass substrate for magnetic recording mediums produced by the foregoing method, any growth of needle-like projections containing an alkali metal carbonate on the surface of the glass substrate is inhibited even during temporal storage of the substrate.

A space (S) is defined between the outlet ports (25) and the rolling elements (10). A sufficient amount of air flows through the space (S), whereby the lubrication oil is supplied to the rolling elements (10) and the raceway groove (8).
Abstract: This invention provides a method for stably adding a predetermined amount of supercritical carbon dioxide at a fixed delivery rate into a forming machine and also a process for producing an expanded thermoplastic resin product by making use of the addition method. Carbon dioxide is charged from a liquefied carbon dioxide cylinder (1) into a predetermined amount deliverable pump (2) while allowing the carbon dioxide to remain in a liquefied state. When the carbon dioxide is pressurized and delivered by the predetermined amount deliverable pump (2), a delivery pressure of the carbon dioxide is controlled at an optional pressure within a range of from a critical pressure (7.4 MPa) of carbon dioxide to 40 MPa to deliver the carbon dioxide without any fluctuation of the amount of the delivery by setting up the pressure of a pressure control valve (3). The carbon dioxide is heated to a critical temperature (31° C.) of carbon dioxide or higher to convert it into supercritical carbon dioxide.
