Abstract: Provided is a lens that includes a lens body and an internal electrode at least a part of which is exposed to an outer edge part of the lens body. The lens is configured so that in the outer edge part of the lens body, the shape of a first region that includes an exposed part where the internal electrode is exposed and the shape of a second region that does not include the exposed part are different. This configuration makes it possible to provide a lens that can be easily attached to a frame.
Abstract: Provided is a component-manufacturing film that includes a first region S1 and a second region S2 disposed so as to surround the region S1; the region S1 is formed of a base layer and an adhesive layer provided on one surface side of the base layer; the region S2 is formed of the base layer, the adhesive layer, and an additional layer affixed onto the layer. In the temperature range of 190° C. or lower, a tensile elastic modulus of the additional layer is equal to or greater than the tensile elastic modulus of the base layer. Further provided are a component-manufacturing tool and method, the latter including a component fixing step; a film placement step of performing placement so that the boundary between the region S1 and the region S2 is located inside with respect to an edge of the chuck table; a chucking step; and a heating step.
Abstract: Provided is a method of producing a porous molded body, the method including: the step of obtaining a molded body by molding a raw material that contains from 1 part by mass to 100 parts by mass of a bicarbonate compound (A) represented by AHCO3 (wherein, A represents Na or K) and from 0 parts by mass to 99 parts by mass of a compound (B) represented by BnX (wherein, B represents Na or K; X represents CO3, SO4, SiO3, F, Cl, or Br; and n represents an integer of 1 or 2 as determined by the valence of X) (provided that a total amount of (A) and (B) is 100 parts by mass); and the step of obtaining a porous molded body by performing a heat treatment of the molded body in a temperature range of from 100° C. to 500° C. and an atmosphere that contains water vapor in an amount of from 1.0 g/m3 to 750,000 g/m3 and thereby thermally decomposing not less than 90% by mass of the bicarbonate compound (A).

Abstract: A vehicle door operation device includes an inside handle, a full open unlocking lever for transmitting a closing operation of the inside handle to a full open door latch device, and a full closure unlocking lever for transmitting an opening operation of the inside handle to a full closure door latch device. The inside handle has first and projecting portions, and when the inside handle rotates in a first direction by the closing operation, the first projecting portion is brought into abutment with the full open unlocking lever to enable the full open unlocking lever to operate, whereas when the inside handle rotates in a second direction by the opening operation, the second projecting portion is brought into abutment with the full closure unlocking lever to enable the full closure unlocking lever to operate.

Abstract: The present invention aims to reduce the operation noise of a latch device for a vehicle trunk lid when the lid is opened. A latch device for a vehicle trunk lid includes: latch 16 that is engaged with a striker; ratchet 18 that is engaged with latch 16; opening lever 43 that causes ratchet 18 to rotate in a direction in which ratchet 18 is disengaged from latch 16; output member 39 that rotates opening lever 43 in the release direction. Opening lever 43 is rotatable between an unblocked position where it is rotatable in the release direction and a blocked position where it is prevented from rotating in the release direction by colliding with the output member. When driven and rotated, output member 39 abuts against opening lever 43 that is in the unblocked position and rotates opening lever 43 in the release direction to the blocked position, and opening lever 43 is further rotated a predetermined angle by colliding with output member 39 in the blocked position.

Abstract: A compact vehicle side door latch apparatus has a latch that is rotated from an unlatched position to a fully-latched position, a ratchet that engages the latch in order to prevent the latch from being rotated in a releasing direction, a door opening link that is moved in a door opening direction in order to allow the ratchet to be disengaged from the latch, a motor that moves the door opening link in the door opening direction by motor power, and a door key lever that moves the door opening link in the door opening direction by an operation of a key plate. The door key lever is connected to the door opening link with play, and the motor power is transmitted to the door opening link without passing through disconnecting means of the power transmission path.
Abstract: The present invention is a sensor assembly that is used in a door lock device provided with a latch, a ratchet, a drive unit that drives the ratchet and releases the engagement of the ratchet and the latch, and a case that accommodates the drive unit, the sensor assembly being provided with a sensor that detects the action of the ratchet when the engagement of the ratchet and the latch is released, wherein the sensor assembly is provided with: a connector that holds connection conductors electrically connected to the sensor, and is attached to the case; a sensor base that holds the sensor; a plurality of electric wires that connect the plurality of connection conductors and a plurality of terminal portions of the sensor; and a waterproofing material that comprises a photo-curing resin for covering, along with the sensor base, connecting portions of the terminal portions and the electric wires.

Abstract: Mortar with small autogenous shrinkage strain and a method for producing the same are provided. Mortar has binder and fine aggregate, wherein the binder includes cement and fine mineral powder, and the mortar is formed by being mixed with water. The fine aggregate is air granulated ferronickel slag, and weight ratio of water to a combination of the binder and the fine aggregate is 7.0% or more and 9.0% or less. Such mortar can be produced by mixing binder, fine aggregate and water.
