Abstract: A package for menstrual protectors such as sanitary napkins and pads or panty protectors has one side coated with pressure-sensitive adhesive for securing the napkin to the underwear of the user. A plurality of napkins have their adhering side releasably fixed to a plastic film or the like. When the film with the attached napkins is folded, the napkins are placed on top of each other forming one or more piles enclosed by the film. The overlapping edges of the film extending laterally beyond the protectors are then sealed together.

Abstract: The invention relates to a holder for paper rolls with central dispensing of the paper from the interior of the roll. There is a pull-out opening for the paper web in one end wall of the holder, where it is surrounded by a projecting, substantially tubular, tearing device with tearing teeth for tearing off the paper web. According to the invention, the holder is firstly made so that it can be mounted in any position, and secondly its tearing device is provided with protective projections, which extend beyond the tearing teeth.
Abstract: A device for releasably coupling together various objects includes a first profiled tube mounted on a first object, a second profiled tube mounted on a second object to be coupled together with the first object, and a locking rod. The tubes are essentially identical at least in their cross section and have a longitudinal open slot with smaller width than the cross section of the tubes. For coupling, a first circumferential portion of the first tube is inserted through the slot in the second tube, while a circumferential portion of the second tube is inserted through the slot in the first tube. Inside each tube the circumferential portion of the coacting tube is brought into contact with a portion of the interior boundary surface of the respective tube, so that the two tubes will form a sleeve-like unit. The locking rod is inserted into a cavity in this unit to lock the two tubes to each other.
Abstract: A disposable diaper including a first outer layer of a liquid-permeable material intended to abut the body of the user, a second outer layer of a liquid-impermeable material and an intermediate layer of absorbent material arranged between said two outer layers. At least that portion of the diaper, which is situated in the user's crotch, is provided with elastic bands or threads extending between the two side edges of the diaper, these bands or threads being at least partially connected with pretension to the liquid-permeable outer layer.
Abstract: The invention refers to an electronic detector arranged in such a way that the electric conductivity between e.g. a surgeon and a patient can be measured. The detector is preferably placed in the shoes of the surgeon and is through contact members on one hand connected to the surgeon's body and on the other hand to the bedding on which the surgeon stands, preferably a floor having a certain electric conductivity, or a round for this purpose. By the fact that an electrically conductive operating table is electrically connected to the same bedding also the patient will be galvanically connected with said bedding.A detector arranged in this way can detect the conductivity between the surgeon and the patient and makes it possible to control possible biologic leakage, e.g. germ-containing liquid, through perforations in the operation gloves of the surgeon, at which infections in incisions can be avoided to a great extent.
Abstract: The invention relates to a disposable diaper, comprising a layer of a liquid-permeable, preferably non-woven material, intended to be placed in contact with the body of the user, and of a second layer of a liquid-impermeable material, between which layers an absorbent body is arranged, these two layers extending laterally outside the edges of the absorbent body.
Abstract: A method and a device for cutting out pieces of material webs, the cutting taking place between a spherical surface and a sharp edge. The spherical surface consists of a freely movable, non-driven ball. The ball can be made of hard material such as steel and the cutting edge of softer material, or vice versa. The device consists of a roller over which the web is led and a member acting against it. The roller has a groove corresponding to the desired contours of the formed piece. A ball, guided by the groove made in the roller, presses against the edge of the groove for cutting through the web.
Abstract: In a menstrual tampon comprising one or more webs 1, rolled up in several layers around each other, of moisture-absorbing material, a pull string 2 is anchored and extends out of the tampon. This string is laid around the web 1 in at least two consecutive loops which, with portions 6 running back and forth approximately longitudinally to the tampon, surround and are in contact with at least two opposite side edges 7,8 of the web 1 of absorbent material, and extend out of one end of the tampon. (FIG. 2).

Abstract: Improved fluffed pulp consisting of 95 to 25 percent by weight groundwood and 5 to 75 percent by weight chemical pulp, with a liquid retention capacity of at least 6.5 gram liquid per gram pulp, a liquid dispersing capacity of at least 2.5 gram liquid per gram pulp per minute, a bulk of at least 18 cm.sup.3 /gram and a web strength of at least 0.2 Newton, and a method of producing said pulp by mixing 95 to 25 percent by weight groundwood and 5 to 75 percent by weight chemical pulp beaten in a wet state with each other, dewatering mechanically to a dry solids content of 40 to 50 percent by weight, coarse-defibrating, drying in a flash drying step to 60 to 85 percent by weight, finish-defibrating and finish-drying to 80 to 95 percent by weight dry solids content.

Abstract: The present invention relates to fluffed pulp comprising unwashed mechanical pulp with a liquid-diffusing capacity of at least 3.5 grams liquid per gram pulp per minute, a bulk of at least 18 cm.sup.3 /gram and a volume weight in blocks or bales of at most 0.8 grams/cm.sup.3. The invention also comprises a method of producing such a fluffed pulp by means of defibrating the wood and thereafter drying the same with warm air to a dry content of 80-95% by weight without subjecting the pulp to any mechanical compression.
