Abstract: A functional program stored in a memory area of an electronic card may be protected against an attack by disturbance of electrical origin intended to modify at least one logic state of at least one code of this program. The method may include: a storage step during which codes of the functional program and codes of a check program intended to check the logical behaviour of the functional program are stored in the memory of the card; and a step of executing at least one code of the functional program followed by a step of checking the logic states of the functional program by executing the check program. During the storage step, the codes of the check program are stored in a memory area formed by addresses that are defined so that the attack by disturbance of electrical origin has no influence on the logic states of this program.

Abstract: A method for recognizing a graphic element of technical function which is printed on a play slip (10) is based on a comparison of images. The content of an area (30) of the slip in which the graphic element is printed, is compared to reference images. The method is compatible with any mode for printing the graphic element on the slip: alphanumeric codes, barcodes, logos, pictures which vary according to the game, etc., but only uses one recognition algorithm. The graphic element which is recognized may be any graphic element of technical function, including a graphic element of useful data, in particular a game code (3) or a game symbol, or a reference graphic element for determining a position of the slip.

Abstract: The present invention relates to the field of the management of memory writes to an information processing device and more precisely to a method of writing a set of data in a unitary and coherent manner. The invention, although of more general scope, applies more particularly in the field of chip cards. There is described a method of writing one or more data to the memory of an information processing device which comprises a step of copying a so-called original memory block comprising the data to be written to a so-called backup memory block. The data writing step is then carried out in the original memory block or in the backup memory block. It is then always possible to return if necessary to the values of the original data if the writing phase fails.
Abstract: An image processing device includes an image input portion, a motion vector acquisition portion and a distortion component estimation portion. The image input portion inputs a target image which is an image to be processed. The motion vector acquisition portion acquires a motion vector generated by relative movement with respect to a subject drawn in the target image when an imaging device which has generated the target image generates the target image. The distortion component estimation portion estimates a rolling shutter distortion component of the target image based on the motion vector.
