  • Patent number: 11489548
Abstract: Apparatus and methods for providing hot-switching immunity for radio frequency switching circuits are disclosed. A radio frequency switching circuit may include both a mechanical switch and a solid-state switch. The mechanical switch may be configurable to couple an output path of a power amplifier to a subsequent component in its transmission path when in a first mechanical switch state and to decouple the output path of the power amplifier from the subsequent component when in a second mechanical switch state. The solid-state switch may be configurable to operatively decouple the mechanical switch from a radio frequency power source when in a first solid-state switch state but not when in a second solid-state switch state. The solid-state switch may be in the first solid-state switch state during transitions of the mechanical switch between the first and second mechanical switch states.

  • Patent number: 11483683
Abstract: When a land mobile radio connection is unavailable for a subscriber device, the subscriber device may use an alternative connection. A gateway may be used to allow the subscriber device to connect to the zone controller of a land mobile radio network via an alternative network. The gateway may be configured to perform remote scan and priority operations, similar to the scan operations the subscriber device would ordinarily perform locally. The gateway may receive a scan list from the subscriber device and call notifications from the zone controller. Using the scan list, the gateway may evaluate the call notifications, determine whether they should be sent to the subscriber device, and send them to the subscriber device over the alternative connection. The gateway may be able to adjust the remote scan and priority operations based on receiving different scan lists from the subscriber device or by generating different versions itself.

  • Patent number: 11475746
Abstract: During operation a first personal-area network will activate a first camera. The first camera may be manually activated, or triggered by an audio signal. The event that causes the first camera to activate will also cause the personal-area network to send an acoustic signature to other personal-area networks. Personal-area networks that receive the acoustic signature will modify audio triggers so that the acoustic signature can be better distinguished from other noises.

  • Patent number: 11475714
Abstract: Systems for detecting liveness in image data may perform a process including receiving, from one or more image capture devices, two-dimensional image data representing two images captured simultaneously and depicting the same human person, including data representing light captured in two spectral bands, such as visible light and infrared light. The received image data may be converted to grayscale or downsampled prior to further processing. The process may include creating a two-dimensional combined image representation of the received image data and analyzing the combined image representation to detect any implied three-dimensional features using a neural network or machine learning. The process may include classifying the received image data as likely to depict a live person or a two-dimensional spoof of a live person, dependent on the analysis, and outputting a classification result indicating a likelihood that the received image data depicts a live person.

  • Patent number: 11467365
Abstract: A lens assembly includes a lens with a lens barrel and a lens mount assembly. The lens mount assembly includes a lens mount barrel and a protrusion. First threads on the lens barrel and second threads on the lens mount barrel are shaped to permit the lens barrel and the lens mount barrel to be screwed together. The protrusion is positioned to interfere with at least one of the first and second threads as the lens barrel and the lens mount barrel are being screwed together. This interference resists rotation of the lens barrel relative to the lens mount barrel, thereby reducing the likelihood that the lens will be inadvertently screwed or unscrewed away from a desired depth.
