Abstract: A system and method for injecting network chaos between a client system and a server system within a network are disclosed. A processor implement a chaos controller DNS (Domain Name System) server and configures a client application running on the client system to utilize the chaos controller DNS server as a DNS server. The processor also selects the chaos controller DNS as the DNS server and implements a chaos controller application programming interface (API) and a chaos controller central server; and orchestrates a type and a duration of a network chaos injection by utilizing the chaos controller API and the chaos controller central server without modifying an application code of the client application.

  • Patent number: 12079789
Abstract: Techniques are described for performing forensic assisting and tracing of transaction data from an automated teller machine (ATM) to detect suspicious activity and potential security threats. The techniques include a forensic assisting and tracing (FAST) ATM configured to intercept data packets including transaction data generated by the ATM; map, store, and index the transaction data; and analyze metadata for the transaction data to generate reports on the operation of the ATM for a higher-level hub server. In some examples, a plurality of FAST ATMs may be networked to the hub server such that the hub server receives reports from each of the individual FAST ATMs and analyzes the reports to identify larger, global trends of suspicious activity and potential security threats.

  • Patent number: 12076190
Abstract: The invention provides a method for guiding the acquisition of ultrasound data. The method begins by obtaining ultrasound data from a plurality of data acquisition planes and performing spatial registration of the data acquisition planes. A number of vessels are then identified in each data acquisition plane. A location of a vessel bifurcation is then identified based on the spatial registration of the data acquisition planes and the number of vessels in each data acquisition plane. A guidance instruction is generated based on the location of the vessel bifurcation, wherein the guidance instruction is adapted to indicate a location to obtain further ultrasound data.

  • Publication number: 20240289422
Abstract: Disclosed is an approach for evaluating internal consistency of object classifications using machine learning modeling. In an example, models are iteratively trained, using supervised learning, on different majority segments (e.g., about 90%) of a dataset as training data segments. Trained models can be applied to the remaining data (e.g., about 10%) as test data segments to obtain, for each object, a predicted classification and a confidence score. Models in training iterations (e.g., 10 iterations) may be independently trained on substantially non-overlapping test data segments (with each iteration testing, e.g., about 10% of the dataset). When a model's predicted classification disagrees from a prior classification, and the confidence of the prediction is sufficiently high (indicating sufficiently strong disagreement), the object's prior classification may be revised. Training data, other than the data itself being evaluated for consistency, is not necessarily required.

  • Publication number: 20240291488
Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to a voltage driver, where a combination of first and second resistance blocks controls a differential voltage swing on the outputs of the voltage driver. Variations of an input voltage are compensated by adding different values of the first resistance block to the second resistance block, while keeping a summation of the first and second resistance blocks at a constant value. Three different circuit diagrams are disclosed to generate these different resistances. In each circuit diagram, one or more control signals change the resistance of the combination of first and second resistance blocks. In some embodiments, the value of the second resistance block is changed by the first resistance block to maintain an impedance matching between a transmitter and a receiver, while changing of the first resistance block compensates for the differential voltage swing.
