Abstract: A social media computing system is described. The social media computing system provides a social media platform to a plurality of users. Additionally, the social media computing system provides merchants the ability to provide targeted offers to users of the social media platform. As used herein, the word “merchants” also includes service providers. The offers relate to goods or services provided by the merchants. In some situations, the offers are transmitted by the social media computing system to user devices based on requests by the users. In other situations, the offers can be transmitted directly from the merchants to the user devices based on determined locations of the user devices.

Abstract: A base station may transmit, to a wireless device via a first control resource set (coreset) with a first coreset group index, downlink control information (DCI) scheduling a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) transmission. The base station may determine that: a first quasi co-location (QCL) of the PDSCH transmission is different from a second QCL of a second coreset that overlaps in at least one symbol with the PDSCH transmission; and the first coreset group index is the same as a second coreset group index of the second coreset. Based on the determining, the base station may transmit, to the wireless device, the PDSCH transmission with the second QCL of the second coreset.

Abstract: Systems, apparatuses, methods, and computer program products are disclosed for quantum computing (QC) detection. An example method includes generating QC detection data. The example method further includes generating a pair of asymmetric cryptographic keys comprising a public cryptographic key and a private cryptographic key, generating encrypted QC detection data based on the pair of asymmetric cryptographic keys, and destroying the private cryptographic key. The example method further includes monitoring a set of data environments for electronic information related to the encrypted QC detection data. Subsequently, the example method may include generating a QC detection alert control signal in response to detection of the electronic information related to the encrypted QC detection data.

Abstract: A respiratory gas flow coupling includes a device connector having a female receptacle or male nipple with a side-oriented leak path. A patient accessory connector has a male nipple or female receptacle adapted to connect with the female receptacle or male nipple of the device connector. The patient accessory connector seals the side-oriented leak path of the female receptacle or male nipple of the device connector when the patient accessory connector is connected with the device connector. The side-oriented leak path is disposed at a position such that a shorter male nipple or female receptacle of an incompatible patient accessory connector which is shorter than the male nipple of the patient accessory connector does not seal the side-oriented leak path when the incompatible patient accessory connector with the shorter male nipple is connected with the device connector.

Abstract: A mobile device includes a processing circuit and a network interface structured to communicate data over a network. The mobile device generates and transmits a request to register for an alert program to a remote computing system and the mobile device renders a registration interface comprising a prompt asking permission to access user activity information. In response to receiving permission, the mobile device transmits an indication of approval to a remote computing system. After transmitting approval, the mobile device transmits an instance of the user activity information to the remote computing system. In response to sending the instance, the mobile device receives and implements a time-limited budget restriction on a user payment account where the time-limited budget restriction is based at least in part on the instance of the user activity.

Abstract: A method for providing integration test monitoring and management is disclosed. The method includes receiving, via an application programming interface, an integration contract, the integration contract relating to a dependency agreement between applications; mapping a dependency for each of the applications based on the integration contract; receiving, via the application programming interface, a request that relates to a regression testing request for an application; identifying a test from a test suite based on the request and a result of the mapping; automatically initiating, via an integration layer, the identified test based on a predetermined parameter; and capturing, via an application programming interface, a test result that corresponds to the automatically initiated test.

Abstract: An image synthesis apparatus comprises a receiver (301) for receiving image parts and associated depth data of images representing a scene from different view poses from an image source. A store (311) stores a depth transition metric for each image part of a set of image parts where the depth transition metric for an image part is indicative of a direction of a depth transition in the image part. A determiner (305) determines a rendering view pose and an image synthesizer (303) synthesizes at least one image from received image part. A selector is arranged to select a first image part of the set of image parts in response to the depth transition metric and a retriever (309) retrieves the first image part from the image source. The synthesis of an image part for the rendering view pose is based on the first image part.

Abstract: A sensor apparatus includes a sensor chip, an illumination system, a first optical system, a second optical system, and a detector system. The illumination system is coupled to the sensor chip and transmits an illumination beam along an illumination path. The first optical system is coupled to the sensor chip and includes a first integrated optic to configure and transmit the illumination beam toward a diffraction target on a substrate, disposed adjacent to the sensor chip, and generate a signal beam including diffraction order sub-beams generated from the diffraction target. The second optical system is coupled to the sensor chip and includes a second integrated optic to collect and transmit the signal beam from a first side to a second side of the sensor chip. The detector system is configured to measure a characteristic of the diffraction target based on the signal beam transmitted by the second optical system.

Abstract: Described herein is an electric motor drive system, including at least one power phase line, an external controller configured to generate a drive signal and provide the drive signal to the at least one power phase line, and motor electronics. The motor electronics include at least one switch coupled between the at least one power phase line and at least one electric motor terminal, and an internal controller configured to cooperate with the external controller to perform an authentication process therebetween. The external controller is further configured to cause the at least one switch to electrically couple the at least one power phase line to the at least one electric motor terminal in response to success of the authentication process.

Abstract: A sealing arrangement for forming a seal between a patient's face and a patient interface device for use in delivering a flow of a treatment gas to the patient includes a generally planar substrate body having a first side and an opposite second side. The substrate body includes a main portion having an opening defined therethrough that is sized and configured to encompass the mouth and nose of the patient. The sealing arrangement further includes a first adhesive layer disposed on the first side of the substrate body and a second adhesive layer disposed on the second side of the substrate body. The first adhesive layer is sized and configured to adhere to the skin of the patient with a first adherence force and the second adhesive layer is sized and configured to adhere to a cushion of the patient interface device with a lesser second adherence force.

Abstract: Disclosed are example methods, systems, and devices that allow for generation and maintenance of a central identity databank for a user's digital life. The identity databank may include identity elements with payload values and metadata values corresponding immutable attributes of the user. A multifactor identity authentication protocol allows service provider devices to more reliably validate transactions with user devices via an identity system. The identity databank may include passwords, which may be generated by the identity system linked to user accounts and/or service providers. The passwords may be provided to service provider devices, eliminating the need for users to conceive of a multitude of varying passwords for the user's accounts.

Abstract: Embodiments for a torque vectoring unit for an electric vehicle are provided herein. In an example, a torque vectoring unit includes an inner rotor, an outer rotor enclosing the inner rotor, and a stator enclosing the outer rotor, with the inner rotor, the outer rotor and the stator being concentrically arranged to one another. The inner rotor is drivingly connectable to a first wheel and the outer rotor is drivingly connectable to a second wheel, and the inner rotor and the outer rotor represent a first electric motor and the outer rotor and the stator represent a second electric motor.

Abstract: A milking system for milking a dairy animal includes a milking cup and a measuring chamber which is in flow communication with the milking cup for the obtained milk where the chamber has a sensor system for measuring at least one property of the milk. The sensor system includes at least three optical sensor devices, each configured to measure values of a property of the milk, and a sensor control unit for actuating the sensor system and for processing the measured values. The sensor control unit is configured to repeatedly select one of the sensor devices. Two of the optical sensor devices are identical, and the sensor system is configured to in each case measure the local value of the property of the milk and to determine a value of the at least one property of the milk in the measuring chamber on the basis of the values measured locally.

Abstract: A system and method are provided for managing electronic disbursements transferred from a business client of a financial institution to customers of the business client. The system includes a disbursement instruction processor receiving a disbursement instruction over a network from a business client system, the disbursement instruction processor processing the instruction and performing multiple steps. The steps include using a customer identifier to determine available payment channels for the customer and selecting an electronic payment channel when available payment channels include an electronic payment channel. An electronic disbursement notification is forwarded to the customer. A confirmation may be provided upon acceptance of the disbursement through the disbursement notification.

Abstract: Apparatuses, methods, and associated computer program products are provided for regulated access management. An example method includes receiving a request for access from a user device associated with an employee and receiving employee data associated with the employee. The method further includes determining if the employee is subject to a required absence regulation and generating an access attempt notification in an instance in which the employee is subject to the required absence regulation. Determining if the employee is subject to the required absence regulation includes identifying an employee status associated with the employee data and determining that the employee is subject to the required absence regulation based on the employee status.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and apparatuses for providing a user a central location to manage permissions provided to third-parties and devices to access and use user data maintained by a financial institution are described. The central location serves as a central portal where a customer of the financial institution can manage all access to account information and personal information stored at the financial institution. Accordingly, the customer does not need to log into each individual third-party system or customer device to manage previously provided access to the customer information or to provision new access to the customer information. A user additionally is able to have user data and third-party accounts of the user deleted from devices, applications, and third-party systems via a central portal. Restrictions on how user data is used by devices, applications, and third-party systems can be imposed via a central portal.

Abstract: A method for transitioning from a first set of video tracks, VT1, to a second set of video tracks, VT2, when rendering a multi-track video, wherein each video track has a corresponding rendering priority. The method comprises receiving an instruction to transition from a first set of first video tracks VT1 to a second set of second video tracks VT2, obtaining the video tracks VT2 and, if the video tracks VT2 are different to the video tracks VT1, applying a lowering function to the rendering priority of one or more of the video tracks in the first set of video tracks VT1 and/or an increase function to the rendering priority of one or more video tracks in the second set of video tracks VT2. The lowering function and the increase function decrease and increase the rendering priority over time respectively. The rendering priority is used in the determination of the weighting of a video track and/or elements of a video track used to render a multi-track video.
