Abstract: An authentication method is used in pairing a peripheral device to a companion device. The peripheral device sends a first identifier and a first value of a first counter to the companion device. The companion device verifies whether a pairing table stored in the companion device contains the first identifier. When the pairing table does not include the first identifier the companion device initiates a pairing session. When the pairing table includes the first identifier, the companion device compares the first value to a second value associated with the first identifier in the pairing table. In response to the first value being greater than the second value, the companion devices initiates a nominal session and in response to the first value being lower than or equal to the second value, execution of the method is stopped.

Abstract: Disclosed in some examples are systems, methods, and machine-readable mediums which automatically discover and aggregate resource allocation data from different network-based resource allocation stores and present, in a GUI, a total resource allocation picture to entities. During setup, an example system may discover external resource stores used by the entity from a resource allocation clearinghouse service and/or from explicit entity input. The system may then obtain, from the discovered external resource stores (and other resource stores entered by an entity) resource allocation data of the entity. The system may infer one or more goals based upon the resource allocation data of the entity. The goals may be used, along with rules to provide resource allocation optimizations. Entity health data may also be used to offer one or more resource-related rewards.

Abstract: Some embodiments are directed to a computation device for performing a computation on at least a set of values. The values are stored in memory as a plurality of shares that define the value. An operation of the computation may be performed on a set of input values to obtain an output value. The output value may be defined by at least one shared share and at least one computed share. The at least one shared share may also define a further value, e.g., an output of a previously performed computation or an output of a further operation performed in parallel with the operation. The at least one computed share is computed from the at least one shared share and shares of the set of input values. A fault in the shared share affects the further value but a fault in the computed share, complicating share reduction attacks.

Abstract: Disclosed in some examples, are methods, systems, and machine-readable mediums which build and utilize an artificial intelligence model to predict debtor payment timing. The past debtor payment history and other debtor information may be for a plurality of accounts over a past time period. Once the model is created, it may be used when a debtor misses a payment to determine a prediction of when the debtor will pay. The model uses characteristics of past debtors and their payment dates to predict, based upon the characteristics of the late debtor, when the late debtor will make a payment. The predicted timing may include a predicted probability for whether the payment will be made within the predicted timing. The predicted timing may be a specific date, or a window (e.g., a three-day window).

Abstract: A provider computing system includes a service recommendation database configured to retrievably store recommendation information, a network interface configured to communicate data over a network, and a processing circuit that includes a processor and memory. The memory is structured to store instructions that are executable by the processor and cause the processing circuit to receive a first set of recommendation information derived from a first set of voice data received by a local voice assistant and store the first set of recommendation information in the services recommendation database. The processing circuit is further caused to receive a request to generate a recommendation from a user voice assistant, derived from a second set of voice data received by the user voice assistant. Abstract: A risk-adjusted assessment of a target facility's quality measures (e.g. mortality rate, length of stay, readmission rate, complications rate, etc.) is determined with respect to the quality measures of a broader population base. Patient cohorts are identified corresponding to particular ailments or treatments, and the target facility's risk-adjusted quality measures are determined for each cohort. When a particular quality measure for a target cohort indicates poor performance, factors that are determined to be relevant to the patients' outcomes are identified and used to create a control group of patients in the broader population who exhibit similar factors but had better outcomes than the patients of the target cohort. The care process (treatments, medications, interventions, etc.) that each of the target patients received is compared to the care process that each of the control patients received, to identify potential root-causes of the poorer performance.

Abstract: In one example, a method for evaluating screen content for accessibility with a screen reader device is disclosed. The method provides a baseline document including a script of expected screen content that conforms accessibility requirements. The method may generate an audio file based on screen content elements. For some implementations, the method uses a machine learning model to transcribe the audio file into an output transcription file. The method may determine whether output transcription file matches the baseline document and a corresponding output report is generated.

Abstract: The present disclosure describes imaging systems configured to generate volumetric images of a target feature based on anatomical landmarks identified during an ultrasound scan and in accordance with a user-selected view. Systems can include an ultrasound transducer configured to acquire echo signals responsive to ultrasound pulses transmitted toward a target region. A processor coupled with the transducer may present illustrative volumetric images of the target feature, each image corresponding to a particular view, for a user to select. The processor can then identify anatomical landmarks corresponding to the target feature embodied within 2D image frames, and based on the identified landmarks and user-selected view, provide instructions for manipulating the transducer to a target local to generate a 2D image frame specific to the view. Echo signals are then acquired at the target locale and used to generate an actual volumetric image of the target feature corresponding to the user-selected view.

The example method further includes generating third electronic information comprising analytical indicia of quality associated with the data set based on the first electronic information and the second electronic information. The example method further includes generating a data quality rating for the data set based on the first electronic information, the second electronic information, and the third electronic information. Subsequently, the example method includes using a feedback loop to update the data quality rating for the data set where the feedback loop is based on an evaluation of the objective indicia of quality.

The processing circuit is configured to receive, by the network interface, image data from a user computing device associated with a user, the image data pertaining to a bill of a user issued by a payee, extract a first structure of computer-readable data from the image data, associate a first payee identification parameter with the first structure, determine that the first structure is stored in association with a verified payee at a payee database based on the first payee identification parameter, and based on determining that the first structure is stored in association with the verified payee, update an account of the user to enable the user to utilize the user computing device to authorize a payment to the payee.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for decomposing peracetic acid and a method for culturing microorganisms using the decomposition method. The cultivation of microorganisms using the method of the present invention allows an effective removal of the peracetic acid used in a culture medium for sterilization.
