Abstract: A handheld personal care device having one or more light emitting elements and one or more light receiving elements is disclosed. Each of the light receiving elements is configured to receive light and output a respective measurement signal representing measurements of the received light. The handheld personal care device also has a control unit to estimate a position and/or an orientation of the device relative to a subject. The light emitting elements and the light receiving elements are arranged on the device such that, depending on the position and/or the orientation of the device relative to the subject, at least one of the light receiving elements can receive light emitted by at least one of light emitting elements and reflected by a reflective surface in the environment of the subject. The control unit estimates the position and/or the orientation of the device relative to the subject based on an analysis of the respective measurement signals of the light receiving elements.

  • Patent number: 12245991
Abstract: A partitioning component (210) for dividing a feeding bottle (110) into two sections: one (125) associated with a container (120) part of the bottle and one (115) associated with a teat part (110) of the bottle. The partition allows for at least partial retention of liquid in the teat part even when the bottle is tipped in a horizontal position, the more natural position for feeding a user such as a baby or toddler. To enable flow of fluid between the two sections, the partitioning component comprises a passageway arrangement (215) which comprises one or more openings (225) and the passageway arrangement configured to enable flow of both liquid and air across the partition in different directions. This allows liquid to pass in, and air to pass out, of the teat section (115) during filling of the teat.

  • Publication number: 20250077493
Abstract: Various methods and processes, apparatuses/systems, and media for systemically and dynamically onboarding and reporting data with no code or low code data warehouse are disclosed. A processor implements a model driven data WaaS and reporting platform; receives data from a plurality of data source systems; provisions the data received from the plurality of source systems; validates the provisioned data; creates a machine learning data model based on the validated data; onboards the data model onto the model driven data WaaS and reporting platform; and generates an adapter pattern on every field type to treat it as a field. The adapter pattern is generated where fields and their types are entered into data WaaS field types so that a user can define the field once and use across all reports thereby enabling no code approach. The processor then dynamically generates a report corresponding to the adapter pattern for publication and consumption.

  • Publication number: 20250081494
Abstract: A process forms a high electron mobility transistor (HEMT) device with a recessed gate without damaging sensitive areas of the HEMT device. The process utilizes a first epitaxial growth process to grow a first set of layers of the HEMT. The epitaxial growth process is then stopped and a passivation layer is formed on the first set of layers. The passivation layer is then patterned to provide a passivation structure at a desired location of the recessed gate electrode. The channel layer and one or more barrier layers are then formed in a second epitaxial growth process in the presence of the passivation structure. The result is that the channel layer and the barrier layer growth around the passivation structure. The passivation structure is then removed, effectively leaving a recess in the channel layer. The gate electrode is then formed in the recess.

  • Publication number: 20250079991
Abstract: A load is powered between positive and negative rails. A switching converter generates the negative rail voltage based on an input voltage, with a power transistor involved therein. A replica generator produces a replica voltage mirroring the drain-to-source voltage of the power transistor. A buffer buffers the replica voltage. A first switch selectively connects the buffered voltage to an output node, in response to a control signal with a duty-cycle proportional to the input voltage divided by the negative rail voltage. A second switch selectively connects the buffered voltage to ground, according to the inverse of the control signal, resulting in a PWM signal at the output node. An output filter filters the PWM signal to generate a sense voltage indicative of the output current flowing from the load device. A processing circuit determines the input current from the positive rail to the load device based on the sense voltage.
