  • Patent number: 12222941
Abstract: A method of driving SQL optimization in a relational database by anti-pattern analysis of dynamic performance characteristics is provided. The method includes receiving a SQL statement, analyzing execution plan of the SQL statement and other SQL runtime statistics, and detecting presence of any anti-patterns for the SQL statement. The method also presents a list of recommendations for remediation of the anti-patterns. The method further includes calculating a quality index value for the SQL statement by performing a weighted analysis of a number of attributes. When the quality index value of the execution plan is determined to be greater than or equal to the predetermined threshold value, the execution plan is sent to a production environment for execution. When the quality index value of the execution plan is determined to be less than the predetermined threshold value, the execution plan is sent to a client terminal for remediation.

  • Patent number: 12223088
Abstract: A method for preserving privacy with respect to modeling event sequence data is provided. The method includes: receiving information about a sequence of events; modeling the event sequence by a Hawkes process that has an intensity that includes an exogenous base intensity rate and an indigenous component that has an excitation rate and a decay rate; analyzing the received information; and determining estimated values of the exogenous base intensity rate and the excitation rate, such that an accuracy of the estimates corresponds to a length of time over which the sequence of events is observed. Differential privacy is introduced by adding noise to the sequence of events in order to preserve the privacy of individuals associated with the events, and a cost of the differential privacy is expressible as an additional length of observation time required to ensure the accuracy of the estimates.

  • Patent number: 12221655
Abstract: The invention relates to a method of pre-surgical risk stratification of a prostate cancer subject, comprising determining a gene expression profile for phosphodiesterase 4D variant 7 (PDE4D7) in a biological sample obtained from the subject, determining a gene expression profile for DExH-box helicase 9 (DHX9) in the same or another biological sample obtained from the subject, and determining a pre-surgical prognostic risk score for the subject based on the gene expression profile for PDE4D7 and the gene expression profile for DHX9. This may allow for an improved stratification of the subject in a pre-surgical setting that may result in better primary treatment decisions. For instance, the pre-surgical prognostic risk score may allow to make better recommendations on whether to select active surveillance vs. active intervention, e.g., radical prostatectomy, for certain sub-populations of prostate cancer patients.

  • Patent number: 12224929
Abstract: Systems, methods, apparatuses, and techniques for multi-phase recoding with respect to batched network coding (BNC) are described. In operation of a multi-phase recoding technique a first node in a multi-hop wireless network data communication path between a source node and a destination node provides recoding and transmission of packets of a BNC batch to a second node in the communication path via multiple phases. Multi-phase recoding makes use of the reception status of the recoded packets that have been received by the second node in earlier phases of multi-phase recoding operation with respect to transmission of a particular batch. Multi-phase recoding feedback from the second node to the first node may be provided so that the first node can determine how many recoded packets are to be sent in the next phase of multi-phase recoding operation.

  • Patent number: 12222896
Abstract: A computing system is disclosed that comprises a shared platform that provides a unified environment for a set of users to access, analyze and experiment with data from one or more cloud-based or on-premises data sources. The computing system ingests data from the one or more data sources into the shared platform, and monitors activities initiated by the set of users with respect to the data stored within the shared platform on a per-user basis. In response to a portion of the data being stored within the shared platform for a threshold duration, the computing system determines a current level of activity performed by the set of users with respect to the portion of the data and, in response to the current level of activity being less than a minimum level of activity, automatically purges the portion of the data from the shared platform.

  • Patent number: 12223722
Abstract: Techniques disclosed herein relate to identifying individuals in digital images. In some embodiments, a digital image may be acquired (802) that captures an environment containing at least a first subject. A first portion of the digital image depicting the first subject may be segmented (806) into a plurality of superpixels. For each superpixel of the plurality of superpixels: a semantic label may be assigned (810) to the superpixel; features of the superpixel may be extracted (812); and a measure of similarity between the features extracted from the superpixel and features extracted from a reference superpixel identified in a reference digital image may be determined (814), wherein the reference superpixel has a reference semantic label that matches the semantic label assigned to the superpixel. Based on the measures of similarity associated with the plurality of superpixels, it may be determined (818) that the first subject is depicted in the reference image.

  • Patent number: 12223063
Abstract: Systems and methods for measuring, grading, evaluating, and comparing AI models via a graphical user interface are disclosed. The technology obtains a set of application domains of the AI model in which an AI model will be used. The application domains are mapped to one or more guidelines to determine a set of guidelines that define operational boundaries of the AI model. The guidelines are used to generate assessment domains, each associated with specific benchmarks that include indicators of a degree of satisfaction with the guidelines. For each assessment domain, assessments are constructed to evaluate the AI model's degree of satisfaction with the corresponding guidelines. The AI model is then evaluated against the assessments. Based on these comparisons, grades are assigned to the AI model for each assessment domain. The application-domain-specific grades are generated and displayed at a GUI, reflecting the AI model's degree of satisfaction with the guidelines.

  • Patent number: 12223091
Abstract: Systems, methods, and apparatuses for providing a central location to manage permissions provided to third-parties and devices to access and use user data and to manage accounts at multiple entities. A central portal may allow a user to manage all access to account data and personal information as well as usability and functionality of accounts. The user need not log into multiple third-party systems or customer devices to manage previously provided access to the information, provision new access to the information, and to manage financial or other accounts. A user is able to have user data and third-party accounts of the user deleted from devices, applications, and third-party systems via a central portal. The user is able to impose restrictions on how user data is used by devices, applications, and third-party systems, and control such features as recurring payments and use of rewards, via a central portal.

  • Patent number: 12222348
Abstract: To provide a novel technique with which the generation of aggregates over time in a dispersion liquid can be suppressed and a target substance can be detected with high sensitivity even if latex particles that have been stored are used. A method for storing in a container a latex particle dispersion liquid in which latex particles for an extracorporeal diagnostic agent are dispersed, the latex particles having a volume average particle size of 10 to 1000 nm and including a polymer containing 70 to 100% by mass of monomer units each derived from a monomer having an aryl group relative to the total monomer units, which is characterized in that the particle dispersion liquid is stored in the container by setting a ratio of a volume of a void space obtained by excluding a volume occupied by the particle dispersion liquid from an internal volume of the container to 0 to 25% (v/v) relative to the internal volume of the container.
