The first and second latches are powered by an interruptible primary supply voltage while the retention latch is powered by a secondary supply voltage that is not interrupted. The retention flip-flop receives a single retention control signal that controls whether the flip-flop is in a standard mode or a retention mode. In the retention mode, the flip-flop clock signal is paused.

Abstract: A MEMS pressure transducer includes a semiconductor body, a lower dielectric region arranged above the semiconductor body, and a fixed electrode region and a lower anchoring region, which are formed by conductive material, are arranged on the lower dielectric region and are laterally separated from each other. A membrane of conductive material is suspended above the fixed electrode region so as to delimit a cavity upwardly, the fixed electrode region facing the cavity, the membrane being deformable as a function of pressure and forming a variable capacitor together with the fixed electrode region. An upper anchoring region of conductive material laterally delimits the cavity and is interposed, in direct contact, between the membrane and the lower anchoring region.

Abstract: A system includes a first processor configured to transmit to a second processor via a secure network session, a first payload configured for a transaction in a public blockchain network including a transaction amount, and a wallet address of a cryptocurrency account, and, in response to receiving, from a blockchain node associated with the cryptocurrency account, an indication that the cryptocurrency account has received a first monetary amount via the public blockchain network, transmit, to the second processor via the secure network session, a second payload indicating the first monetary amount that is less than the transaction amount. In response to the second processor validating the first monetary amount, the second processor transmits, using a blockchain node associated with the cryptocurrency account, a remainder of the transaction amount to the cryptocurrency account via the public blockchain network.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a pool cleaning device having filtering and pumping capabilities. Some embodiments of the disclosed device can be unencumbered by hoses, cables, and the like when in use in the pool. The device may be buoyant and can be configured to float at or just below the surface of the water. The device can comprise a strainer, a pump, a housing for the strainer and pump, and one or more floatation devices. Such a design may allow for a floating skimmer and pump with no need for installation in a side wall. In some embodiments, the device can further comprise a pre-filter. For example, in some embodiments, the strainer and filter can remove large objects and particulates, respectively, before the water passes through the pump. As disclosed in some embodiments, various components of the device may be removeable and replaceable to extend the lifetime of the device.

A monopile and a monopile coating system are also disclosed.
