Abstract: A memory includes error correction circuitry that receives a data packet, outputs a correctable error flag indicating presence or absence of a correctable error in the data packet, and outputs an uncorrectable error flag indicating presence or absence of an uncorrectable error in the data packet. A response manager, operating in availability mode, generates output indicating that a correctable error was present if the correctable error flag indicates presence thereof, and generates an output indicating that an uncorrectable error was present if the uncorrectable error flag indicates presence thereof. In a coverage mode, the response manager generates an output indicating that a correctable error was potentially present but should be treated as an uncorrectable error if the correctable error flag indicates presence of the correctable error, and generates an output indicating that an uncorrectable error was present if the uncorrectable error flag indicates presence thereof.

  • Publication number: 20190318339
Abstract: Methods and systems of the invention provide a variety of techniques for processing microtransactions. In accordance with the invention, the method starts with a customer initiating a purchase through interaction with a merchant. The purchase is associated with purchase information, which includes the particulars of the purchase, such as the purchase price. In the purchase, the customer uses a transaction account, obtained from a payment enabler. The purchase is classified as a microtransaction, if the purchase price is below a predetermined monetary amount. Thereafter, the purchase information is forwarded for processing based on the classifying, i.e., either as a regular transaction or as a microtransaction. Then, upon receipt of the purchase information by an appropriate recipient, such as an interchange entity or an alternate interchange entity, the purchase information is processed to effect the microtransaction, if so classified, between the customer and the merchant.

  • Patent number: 10441811
Abstract: The present invention relates to a radiotherapy planning system (100) for determining a solution (101) corresponding to a fluence profile. The invention proposes to use a Pareto frontier navigator (140) to select the best plan from a set of various auto-planned solutions. An interactive graphical user interface (400) is provided to the planner to navigate among convex combinations of auto-planned solutions. This proposed Pareto plan navigation can be considered as a further optional refinement process, which can be applied to find the best plan in those cases where auto-generated solutions are not fully satisfying the planner's requirements. The navigation tool (400) moves locally through a set of auto-generated plans and can potentially simplify the planner's decision making process and reduce the whole planning time on complex clinical cases from several hours to minutes.
