  • Patent number: 6338035
Abstract: A voice-input document creation system which reduces correction times to a wrongly-recognized input to ensure input efficiency. The system has a determination means for comparing the feature content of a newest voice input extracted by a feature extracting module with a feature content of an immediately preceding voice input to determine if the newest voice input is a correction to the immediately preceding voice input. When a first-time correction is received, the system displays a list of all output candidates for the immediately preceding voice input stored in a second memory. When a second-time correction is received, the system stores the output candidates for the newest voice input into a third memory and, at the same time, displays the output candidates; at this time, the system neither displays nor stores in the third memory those output candidates displayed upon the first-time correction.

  • Publication number: 20020000964
Abstract: Provided is a liquid crystal display device capable of independently adjusting gradation for each of RGB. A control circuit outputs a clock signal, an image signal for each of RGB, and an adding circuit control signal. A gradation voltage generation circuit outputs a gradation voltage. A color correction voltage for each of RGB is generated in a color correction voltage generation circuit based on an input signal for color correction. A signal electrode drive circuit receives the clock signal, a control signal, the image signal, the adding circuit control signal, the gradation voltage, and the color correction voltage. A gradation voltage corresponding to a gradation value of the image signal for each of RGB is selected from the gradation voltage. The color correction voltage for each of RGB is added to the gradation voltage, then a sub-pixel data signal is generated and sent to a liquid crystal panel.

  • Publication number: 20020002067
Abstract: A booster connectable to a handy phone for amplifying the transmission output of the phone is disclosed. A particular transmission message included in a transmission wave output from the phone and determining transmission power is decoded to generate a reference signal matching in level with the transmission power of the message. A variable gain power amplifier has its gain controlled such that the reference signal and the detected signal of the transmission wave output by the booster coincide with each other. As a result, the booster outputs power coincident with the transmission power determined by the particular transmission message. The booster makes it needless to inform the phone of the connection of the booster to the phone, and therefore obviates the need for extra connection lines and circuitry for detecting connection information.
