Abstract: A method and system for computing an expert point value of a user for each keyword is provided, including: a first step of assigning a first knowledge-based expert rating value associated with a keyword to a user identifier of a user which enters the keyword into an expert field; a second step of assigning a second knowledge-based expert rating value associated with the keyword to the user identifier when another user stores the keyword to correspond to the user identifier; a third step of assigning a third knowledge-based expert rating value associated with the keyword to the user identifier when the user of the user identifier performs an answer activity for the keyword; and a fourth step of computing the knowledge-based expert rating value of the user identifier for the keyword based on at least one of the first, the second, and the third knowledge-based expert rating values.

Abstract: Disclosed is a method for sharing reliable information or knowledge with regard to a question using an on-line human network. The on-line human network-based knowledge sharing method is to share knowledge based on an acquaintance information database. The database stores the IDs of a plurality of users, and the correspondence relationships of the user IDs, which represent acquaintanceships between the users on the on-line human network. The method includes allowing a first user to write a question message in a form that can be forwarded through the network, generating a question ID for identifying the question message and storing the generated question ID, causing the ID of the first user to correspond to the question ID, allowing a second user who is acquainted with the first user to receive the message, and causing the ID of the second user to correspond to the question ID.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a method, system and software executable by a processor associated with non-transitory computer-readable storage medium for detecting a trap of web-based calendar pages and building a retrieval database. According to an aspect of the disclosure, detecting a trap of web-based calendar pages includes clustering, by a clustering module, URLs corresponding to web pages stored in a database according to a predetermined standard, generating a regular expression by analyzing a date pattern included in a clustering result, and detecting, a cluster suspected of being a trap of web-based perpetual calendar pages using the generated regular expression.

Abstract: A search system includes a non-transitory computer-readable storage device, and a computing device. A term extracting unit causes the computing device to extract multiple terms from an input query, a weight computing unit causes the computing device to compute a weight for each of the multiple terms, and a reduction query recommending unit causes the computing device to remove at least one term from the multiple terms, based on the weight, and to provide at least one reduced query using remaining terms. Abstract: A social network service (SNS) system and method for recommending a friend of a friend based on an intimacy between users are provided. The SNS system includes an extracting unit to extract communication information from each of a friend relationship between a user and a first-group friend and a friend relationship between the user and a second-group friend. The system also includes a calculating unit to calculate an intimacy of each of the friend relationships based on the extracted communication information. The system includes a generating unit to generate a list of recommended second-group friends based on the calculated intimacy.

Abstract: Exemplary embodiments of the present invention relate to a method and apparatus for calculating a document rank score of documents in the dynamic World Wide Web (web) environment where documents are continuously added and deleted. The method and apparatus use partial updates to recalculate a document rank score of documents in view of a change, and dynamic updates that reflect a change occurring during calculation of the document rank score.

Abstract: The present disclosure is related to a P2P file transmission system and method, the system according to the present disclosure may include a P2P node managing system managing users connected to the system, and managing P2P file transmissions between the users; and a relay server relaying the file transmitted to the file receiver from the file sender when the P2P file transmission by the direct connection between the file sender and the file receiver fails. According to an embodiment of the present disclosure, the present disclosure provides more stable file transmissions under an unstable environment for the P2P file transmission such as NAT and the P2P file transmission system may be applied to various network places.

The speech recognition system may include a speech recognition result verifying unit to verify a word sequence and a candidate word for at least one word included in the word sequence when the word sequence and the candidate word are provided as a result of speech recognition. A word sequence displaying unit may display the word sequence in which the at least one word is visually distinguishable from other words of the word sequence. The word sequence displaying unit may display the word sequence by replacing the at least one word with the candidate word when the at least one word is selected by a user.

The system for performing the auto scroll may include an auto scroll determination unit to determine whether to perform the auto scroll on a page, an auto scroll performing unit to perform the auto scroll on the page so that a main text of the page may be obtained with focus, and a page providing unit to output the auto scrolled page. According to exemplary embodiments of the present invention, even though a user does not manually scroll to data of the page to be viewed, the data of the page may automatically be scrolled so that the data may be obtained with focus.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are a method and apparatus for providing a toolbar service. The method for providing a toolbar service in a system connected to a user client via a network includes generating a file which can be edited by a user and includes at least one item information for defining an attribute of an interface displayed in a toolbar; receiving a request for download of a toolbar application from the user client; and transmitting the toolbar application including the file to the user client. The toolbar application installed in the user client updates the file according to a user's request for editing an item, parses the updated file to dynamically generate the interface of the toolbar. It is possible to provide a variety of interfaces according to a theme.
