With respect to a communication terminal in which at least one first application and a second application including a function of collecting the use information associated with the first application are installed, in conjunction with the second application, a server for providing a collecting unit to collect the use information collected from a user with respect to the first application, and a recommended application list with respect to the first application based on statistics of the use information.

Abstract: Provided is a system for providing social network service (SNS) and a method for setting relationship between users of mobile terminals. The system may include a reception unit to receive location information on a user terminal allowing the location information to be shared in response to a friend request from the user terminal, a user terminal identification unit to identify at least one other user terminal present within a preset distance based on the location information on the user terminal and allows location information to be shared, a user information transmission unit to identify and send user information on the other user terminal to the user terminal, and a relationship setting unit to set a relationship between users of the user terminal and the other user terminal when the user information on the other user terminal is selected in the user terminal.

Abstract: Provided is a system and method for providing ranking information of a mobile application using information obtained from a user terminal. A server for providing ranking information of an application on the Internet may include a collecting unit to collect, with regard to at least one first application installed in a communication terminal, at least one of use information indicating a position of an icon of the first application on a wallpaper, that is, an application managing interface of the communication terminal, and use information indicating the first application currently being executed in the memory of the communication terminal; and a providing unit to provide a ranking of the first application based on statistics of use information.

Abstract: Provided is a method of supporting a purchase of a game item that may support a portion of a price of the game item so that a user may easily obtain the game item. The game item purchase supporting method may include questioning a user about whether to transmit a purchase support request for the game item, generating purchase support information associated with the user to provide the user with the game item when the purchase support request of the game item is received from the user, and storing the purchase support information to match identification information of the user.

Abstract: An approach is provided for providing a service using an on-line game capable of, maximizing effects of services associated with the on-line game, and recording media recording a program for implementing the service providing method. Abstract: Disclosed herein is an apparatus and method of identifying an access network. The apparatus including: a packet capturing unit configured to capture a plurality of packets transmitted or received by a server; a flow classifying unit configured to classify each of the captured packets into individual flows with reference to at least one of an origination address, a destination address, and a port number; a round trip time (RTT) calculating unit configured to calculate RTT values from the packets classified into a flow of the individual flows; an access network determining unit configured to determine that an origination address included in a packet classified into the flow is an address accessing the server through a first communication network when the RTT calculated values exceed a reference value; and a storage unit configured to store the address accessing the server through the first communication network.

Abstract: A social network service (SNS) system and method for recommending a friend of a friend based on an intimacy between users are provided. The SNS system includes an extracting unit to extract communication information from each of a friend relationship between a user and a first-group friend and a friend relationship between the user and a second-group friend. The system also includes a calculating unit to calculate an intimacy of each of the friend relationships based on the extracted communication information. The system includes a generating unit to generate a list of recommended second-group friends based on the calculated intimacy.

Abstract: Disclosed is a notification system and method using messenger. The system includes a messenger system for controlling instant message transmission, monitoring messenger user state change, and transmitting user state change information; an external service system for monitoring occurrence of events and generating notification message indicating occurrence of the events; and a synchronization server for receiving the user state change information from the messenger system, providing the received user state change information to the at least one external service system, receiving the notification message from the at least one external service system, and transmitting the notification message to the messenger system. Abstract: An information providing method and system that may provide information while conversing with a user through an instant messaging application is disclosed. The information providing system enables a user terminal to add, as a friend, a software bot which may be a virtual friend configured in an artificial software program through the instant messaging application executed in a user terminal. When the user inputs and transmits a message to the software bot through a conversation session, the information providing system may retrieve an appropriate response corresponding to the message from a database by inputting the message as a query, and may transmit the response to the user terminal, thereby providing the response to the user through the conversation session.

Abstract: An encryption method and apparatus thereof is disclosed. In one embodiment the method includes (a) receiving the content data via the network, (b) changing a sequence of the received content data according to a predetermined algorithm or randomly to store in a form of a cache file, (c) generating a decryption key including information of the changed sequence of the data, and (d) encrypting the decryption key according to a predetermined encryption system, wherein if a playback or transmission of the stored content is requested, the encrypted decryption key is decrypted and the corresponding data is extracted from the cache file according to the sequence information of the decryption key to be played back or transmitted. According to one embodiment of the invention, a user is unable to illegally use content data stored in his local client and content data stored in a local client can be quickly decrypted so as not to affect playback of the content data.
