Abstract: An attachment for a router is provided. The attachment may be an adaptor for easily connecting the router to another component. The attachment includes a frame arrangement and a bottom cover that covers the mounting portion of the frame arrangement used to secure the attachment to the router.
Abstract: A marking alignment tool in the form of a saddle square is provided. The square has first and second legs that define orthogonal workpiece abutment planes and an alignment point. A continuous angle marking channel is provided through the first leg and extends through a top and bottom surface thereof. The channel provides a plurality of marking channel portions that are radially and angularly offset from one another such that a marking tool can be guided at predetermined angular locations relative to a side of a workpiece to form desired marks thereon.
Abstract: A backset jig is provided for guiding a hole saw. The jig includes a frame with a first leg positionable adjacent to a first side of a door panel, and a second leg positionable adjacent to a second side of the door panel. The first and second legs are operably coupled with each other by an intermediate portion designed to abut an edge of the door panel. The first leg includes a guide insert for forming a doorhandle borehole, and the intermediate portion includes a guide for forming a latch borehole. The guide insert includes a hole saw guide aperture with a hole saw teeth clearance region and a hole saw guide region, the latter of which has a smaller diameter than the former.
Abstract: A shuttle assembly for use with a saw guide track is provided. The shuttle assembly includes a base plate to which a saw is mounted. An alignment spacer extends laterally outward from the base plate and provides an abutment for locating a saw blade of the saw while the saw is being secured to the shuttle assembly.
Abstract: A router guide jig includes a frame assembly that includes a first leg, a second leg, and a support member. The support member has an opening extending through the support member positioned at least in part offset from the first leg. The receiving opening defines a first axis. The router guide jig includes at least one backset member carried by the first leg having a first abutment surface facing away from the first leg. The at least one backset member is positionable in at least a first position and in a second position relative to the first leg. In the first position, the first abutment surface is spaced a first distance from the first leg. In a second position, the first abutment surface is spaced a second distance from the first leg. The router guide jig includes at least one clamp member carried by the second leg having a second abutment surface facing away from the second leg.
Abstract: A template holding jig for holding a template for use with a router for routing a workpiece is provided. The holding jig may also be part of a workpiece joining jig that includes a plurality of templates. The template holding jig includes a template support, a workpiece support and a template guide. The template support defines a template support plane. The workpiece support defines a workpiece support plane extending perpendicular to the template support plane. The template guide defines at least one abutment preventing motion of a template located on the template support parallel to a first axis being parallel to the workpiece support plane and parallel to the template support plane. The at least one abutment permits motion of the template parallel to a second axis being orthogonal to the workpiece support plane and perpendicular to the first axis and parallel to the template support plane.

Abstract: A clamp mount and clamp assembly using a clamp mount are provided. The clamp mount is used to attach a clamp to a workbench or other support device so that a workpiece can be clamped to a work surface. The clamp mount may include a removable shoe. The clamp mount may include a plurality of attachment plates for attaching the clamp mount to different supports or different mounting features of the support device.
