Abstract: An adjustable doweling jig is provided. The adjustable doweling jig has a pair of bore guide carriers that are symmetrically and simultaneously adjustable relative to a base structure of the doweling jig. The bore guide carriers carry a plurality of bore guides such that dowel holes can be placed using the bore guides at a broad range of locations, limited only by the size of the jig.

Abstract: A saw (100) includes a sawdust collection assembly (2) having a chute (10) made of a material having a stretchability to be shaped responsive to movement of a blade housing (102) into a moveable sawdust path. An upper end (40) of a top portion (6) of the chute (10) is removably and reattachably engaged with a top attachment member (36) mounted to the blade housing (102). A bottom portion (8) of the chute (10) is removably and reattachably engaged with a bottom attachment member (26) mounted to a rear side (106C) of a fence (106) of the saw (100). Two side edges (44, 46) of the top portion (6) are respectively attached by two side tension cords (18) to left and right sides (106B, 106A) of the fence (106). One of the side tension cords (18) can be used with a tension block (20, 28) to form a tensioning system.
Abstract: A drill powered pump is provided. The pump includes a housing, an impeller mounted within the housing and a pair of bushings that support opposite ends of the support shaft of the impeller. The bushings are carried by the housing. Anti-rotation arrangements are provided to prevent rotation of the bushings relative to the housing.
Abstract: A right angle drive is provided. The right angle drive includes an input shaft, an output shaft, a housing a pair of input shaft bearings and a pair of output shaft bearings. The input shaft carries an input gear for rotation about an input axis. The output shaft carries an output gear for rotation about an output axis. The input and output gears are coupled to transfer rotational motion therebetween. The input and output axis being non-parallel to one another. The pair of input shaft bearings carry the input shaft within the housing for rotation about the input axis. One bearing is on either side of the input gear. The pair of output shaft bearings carry the output shaft within the housing for rotation about the output axis. One bearing is on either side of the input gear. The bearings may interlock with one another.

Abstract: A work piece support device that includes a body and at least two portions of high-grip material on opposite sides of the body is provided. The body may have a flowable media stored therein to provide a lowered center of gravity depending on the orientation of the work piece support device. The work piece support device may include mating projections and recesses for coupling a plurality of work piece support devices together. Further, the projection can be in the form of a cone such that the work piece support device may function as a support cone.

Abstract: A method and apparatus are provided, for positioning a work piece, such as a piece of crown molding, through use of an apparatus including a work piece support plate pivotably attached along a pivot axis to a base. The base is adapted to rest on a horizontal reference plane, such as the table of a mitre saw, for pivoting motion of the support plate about the pivot axis to a desired angle with respect to the base, while the pivot axis is simultaneously positioned to extend substantially parallel to a longitudinal line of intersection between a horizontal and a vertical reference plane, established by the table and fence of the mitre saw, to hold the work piece at a desired tilt angle with respect to the vertical reference plane, so that the work piece may be cut in substantially the same orientation as it will be mounted.
