Abstract: The disclosure relates to a smart footwear that is capable to maintain the temperature within the set range using Peltier modules (10.i), that are additionally used for energy harvesting. The footwear is equipped with plurality of inner temperature sensors (20.j). Outer temperature is recorded by one or more sensors (30.k). Data processing unit (70) executes a program for heating/cooling and energy harvesting, where only i-th Peltier module is used in time for heating/cooling and other modules (10.1) where i?l for energy harvesting. In the preferred embodiment, the index i is changed consecutively to be 1->2->3-> . . . ->(N?1)->N with time period D that defines a duty cycle of each i-th Peltier module, and with the adjustable time period D1 before each new cycle 1->2->3-> . . . ->(N?1)->N, while all Peltier modules are in energy harvesting mode. Time periods D and D1 are used to regulate delivered power for heating/cooling.

  • Patent number: 12102750
Abstract: A device for monitoring drug use from a drug dispenser in the form of a dispenser cap, especially an inhaler, comprising a sensor for measuring drug release from the dispenser. As a drug release measurement sensor (2) a piezoelectric transducer (2) is used, while a piezoelectric transducer (2) is connected to a microprocessor. The cap includes the activator (1) of the drug release measurement sensor (2) associated movably connected with the piezoelectric transducer (2), wherein the piezoelectric transducer (2) is located in the cap in such a way that, with the help of the activator (1) of the drug release measurement sensor (2), after using the drug dispenser, the force pressure on the cap as a kinetic force is transmitted from the activator (1) of the drug release measurement sensor (2) directly to the piezoelectric transducer (2), which measures the transferred kinetic force.

  • Patent number: 12103773
Abstract: A system and a method are disclosed where a robot operating using a first traversal protocol traverses autonomously along a first route that is defined by markers that are detectable by the robot, wherein the robot is configured to move only based on a presence and type of each marker when the robot is configured to operate based on the first traversal protocol. The robot detects, while traversing along the route, a triggering condition corresponding to a change in operation by the robot from the first traversal protocol to a second traversal protocol. Responsive to detecting the triggering condition, the robot is configured to operate in the second traversal protocol, wherein the robot, when configured to operate based on the second traversal protocol, determines a second route autonomously without regard to a presence of any of the markers.
