Abstract: A system for performing over-the-air (OTA) update is disclosed. The system may comprise a first communication interface, an electronic control subsystem of a vehicle, and a gateway. The gateway may be coupled to the electronic control subsystem by way of the first communication interface, receive trigger event information, and detect a trigger condition based on the trigger event information. The gateway may initiate, based on the detection of the trigger condition, a handshake with the electronic control subsystem, verify a set of parameters, and validate a version of a software or a firmware of at least one component of the electronic control subsystem. Based on the verification, the gateway may provide an update file to the electronic control subsystem by way of the first communication interface. The update file is configured to update the software or the firmware for the at least one component.
Abstract: A water heating system includes a burner and a gas valve fluidly connected to the burner to deliver a flow of combustible gas thereto. The gas valve has an adjustable throttle for the flow of combustible gas, along with a motor to adjust a position of the throttle. A controller is configured to determine a throttle position corresponding to a target air-fuel ratio of the burner during a calibration sequence, and to control the motor in order to operate the burner at that target air-fuel ratio throttle position during a start sequence. The controller is configured to monitor a characteristic of the burner during the start sequence, and to initiate the calibration sequence if the monitored characteristic exceeds an error threshold.
Abstract: A circuit for battery storage management where the storage contains at least two cells (4.i) connected in at least one bank (10), at least one device (11) for controlling the bank, at least one main power supply bus (8) and at least one communication bus (9). At least one cell (4.i) is equipped with at least one cell management device (3) with measurement devices for measuring cell status indicators. Each device (11) for controlling the bank (10) contains a control unit and memory storage blocks for storing values regarding the history of each cell (4.i). The circuit contains an independent power source and an auxiliary power supply bus (7) powered from it which connects each device (11) for controlling the bank (10) to the cell management devices (3) contained in this bank (10). A method for battery storage management in this circuit is also proposed, in which the cell status indicators (4.i) are measured and in the event of a predicted failure, the cells (4.i) are recharged via the auxiliary power bus (7).
Abstract: The agricultural sprayer includes a base with two vertical guides fixed thereon and carriages mounted on and capable of traveling along said guides. A ducted fan is turnably mounted on axles between the carriages. The inner surface of the fan duct is equipped with nozzles connected to a liquid container. One of the carriages consists of two parts: the first and the second one, with the second part capable of moving relative to the first one. The first and the second parts of said carriage have a duct-swinging crank-rocker mechanism mounted thereon. Said mechanism is configured for setting the inclination angle of the fan duct and adjusting its oscillation amplitude.

Abstract: A method of setting up a joining device for joining a cover lens to a housing of a vehicle lighting device. The joining device features a mounting fixture and a robot with a suction head, The method features at least the following steps: inserting a housing into the mounting fixture and a cover lens into the suction head; transferring the suction head to an initial joining pose; joining the cover lens to the housing with the suction head in the initial joining pose; measuring the pose of the cover lens relative to a reference-point system, which comprises reference points on the surface of the housing and/or the cover lens; determining a set of translations and/or rotations, which transfer the cover lens to an optimal pose with minimal deviations from a target pose; and correcting the initial joining pose of the suction head with the determined set of translations and/or rotations.
