Abstract: A solar combined heat and power system is provided. The system is multi-functional. Saturated steam and organic vapor are provided to steam and organic Rankine cycle power generators by concentrating solar radiation to solar power thermal energy storage container. Thermoelectric generator chips and solar cells are run at an optimum temperature for generating extra power. A hot water storage tank is used to generate hot water by absorbing latent heat on condense process or by absorbing surplus heat from water or organic fluid when power generators stop. Thus, the present invention improves solar energy usage effectiveness, and provides heat and power with high efficiency.

Abstract: A method of decoding speech data generated from a speech signal includes receiving the speech data having at least one main pulse in a subframe of the speech data, and generating a first predicted pulse, based on the at least one main pulse, on one side of the main pulse in the subframe of the speech data, where the first predicted pulse has a lower gain than the main pulse. The method also includes generating a second predicted pulse, as a mirror image of the first predicted pulse on a reverse time scale, on the other side of the main pulse in the subframe of the speech data, and reconstructing the speech signal using the at least one main pulse, the first predicted pulse and the second predicted pulse.
Abstract: The present invention discloses a conductive structure of a transparent conductive film, the transparent conductive film and a preparation method thereof, wherein the transparent conductive film has a single-sided double-layer conductive structure, which includes a first metal embedded layer embossed on the substrate or on the polymer layer on the surface of the substrate, and a second metal embedded layer embossed on the polymer material applied onto the surface of the first metal embedded layer. The first and second layers of the conductive structure have a grid recess structure, with all the recesses filled with the conductive material. The single-sided double-layer graphic transparent conductive film provided by the present invention has a high resolution, a high transmittance, an independently adjustable sheet resistance, and many other advantages. The transparent conductive film can reduce the cost as well as weight and thickness of the touch panel.
Abstract: A capacitive sensing component includes a substrate and a patterned sensing layer formed on the substrate; the patterned sensing layer includes a plurality of sensing electrodes, the plurality of sensing electrodes are formed of a metal mesh laying on the substrate. The cost of the capacitive sensing component is low. A preparation method of a capacitive sensing component and a touch screen are also provided.
Abstract: The present invention describes novel amphoteric materials based on crosslinked hyaluronic acid, according to the general formula (I), and a method of preparation of said materials. Further, the invention relates to the material containing entrapped active agents (e.g. drugs, growth factors etc.) and a method of preparation thereof. Moreover, the present invention relates to the use of said materials for controlled release systems, in tissue engineering, wound dressing or tissue regeneration.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a method and apparatus for controlling an object movement on a screen. The method senses a first change in a position of a pointing device in a coordinate system to obtain a first displacement, and controls the object movement by a first displacement output ratio according to the first displacement. The method senses a second change in a position of the pointing device in a coordinate system to obtain a second displacement, and controls the object movement by a second displacement output ratio when a difference between a direction of the first displacement and a direction of the second displacement exceeds a first angle threshold, wherein the second displacement output ratio is lower than the first displacement output ratio.
Abstract: Recorded or synthesized speech segments of text-to-speech (TTS) systems may be compressed though the use of both time domain compression and perceptual compression techniques. The twice-compressed recording may be separated into speech segments corresponding to words or subword units for use in a TTS system. The compression rate of time domain compression, and the ratio of time domain compression to perceptual compression, may be modified for any speech segment. The compression amount or ratio may be determined based on linguistic or acoustic features of the word or subword unit that the speech segment represents. Differing compression amounts and ratios may be applied to portions of a single speech segment.
Abstract: Features are disclosed for providing a consistent interface for local and distributed text to speech (TTS) systems. Some portions of the TTS system, such as voices and TTS engine components, may be installed on a client device, and some may be present on a remote system accessible via a network link. Determinations can be made regarding which TTS system components to implement on the client device and which to implement on the remote server. The consistent interface facilitates connecting to or otherwise employing the TTS system through use of the same methods and techniques regardless of the which TTS system configuration is implemented.
Abstract: A longwall shearer loader is provided. The longwall shearer loader includes a shearer body located outside of an armored face conveyor. Additionally, the longwall shearer loader includes a motor and a transmission unit that propel a drive shaft located in a part of the shearer body, which is above the armored face conveyor. The drive shaft transmits power to a drive wheel installed in the shearer body on a goaf side, which is outside of a line pan of the chain conveyor and which moves along a ladder.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a double diffused metal oxide semiconductor (DMOS) device and a manufacturing method thereof. The DMOS device includes: an isolation structure for defining device regions; a gate with a ring-shaped structure; a drain located outside the ring; and a lightly doped drain, a source, and a body electrode located inside the ring. Abstract: The present invention discloses a high electron mobility transistor (HEMT) and a manufacturing method thereof. The HEMT includes a semiconductor layer, a barrier layer on the semiconductor layer, a piezoelectric layer on the barrier layer, a gate on the piezoelectric layer, and a source and a drain at two sides of the gate respectively, wherein each bandgap of the semiconductor layer, the barrier layer, and the piezoelectric layer partially but not entirely overlaps the other two bandgaps. The gate is formed for receiving a gate voltage. A two dimensional electron gas (2DEG) is formed in a portion of a junction between the semiconductor layer and the barrier layer but not below at least a portion of the piezoelectric layer, wherein the 2DEG is electrically connected to the source and the drain.
Abstract: A display system includes a touch screen and a driving circuit. The touch screen includes touch sensors and a light source. A converter of the driving circuit receives an input voltage and provides a first output voltage to the light source according to a driving signal. A controller of the driving circuit converts the first output voltage to a second output voltage to drive the touch sensors, compares a voltage feedback signal indicating whether the second output voltage reaches a desired voltage level with a current feedback signal indicating whether a current through the light source reaches a desired current level, selects a feedback signal from the voltage feedback signal and the current feedback signal according to the comparison, and generates the driving signal to adjust the first output voltage according to the selected feedback signal.
Abstract: A system for conducting a financial transaction in e-commerce on the internet includes objects prepared by a seller and a buyer. The seller's object includes a clear text header file (advertisement), an encrypted overhead file which contains verification data pertaining to the financial transaction, and an encrypted content file containing the subject matter for sale by the seller. With a purchase solicitation from the buyer, an overhead key can be used by a transaction agency to ensure there is a compliance between the purchase solicitation and the verification data of the overhead (from seller's object). Next a revelation key is provided to give the buyer access to the content when such compliance has been ensured.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a thin film sensor, capacitive touch panel having the sensor and preparation method thereof and terminal product. The thin film sensor of the present invention has only one optically conductive substrate. Specifically, only one optically transparent substrate is used, a sensing electrode layer and a driving electrode layer are coated on the upper and lower surfaces of the substrate, respectively, which helps to reduce the thickness of the thin film sensor on one hand, thus contributes to the development of light and thin of a touch panel and touch electronics; on the other hand, the material selection and the preparation process are simple, the selection of two substrates is not necessary to prepare two optically conductive thin film.
