Abstract: A method for improving the distribution of agriculturally active ingredients on the surface of granules includes preparing a sprayable liquid solution of at least one agriculturally active ingredient, and applying the sprayable liquid solution on the granules by spraying the liquid solution in atomized form onto the surface of the granules to provide a coating on the surface of the granules which enables substantially all of the agriculturally active ingredient on the granule to be solubilized by the naturally occurring moisture present on the foliage of a treated weed for absorption into the cells of the treated weed when the granules are applied thereto.
Abstract: Methods are provided for the production of granular composite compositions including at least two pesticidally active ingredients in combination such as insecticidally active and herbicidally active ingredients and to the composite combination products produced thereby.

Abstract: This invention relates to a 10-component stabilized synthetic honey bee brood pheromone and methods of stabilizing said pheromone by adding one or more antioxidants, thereby enabling the production and sustained use of commercial products based on that pheromone. The 11-component stabilized pheromone composition formed by adding the antioxidant tertiary-butyl hydroquinone to a synthetic blend of ethyl linoleate, ethyl linolenate, ethyl oleate, ethyl palmitate, ethyl stearate, methyl linoleate, methyl linolenate, methyl oleate, methyl palmitate and methyl stearate can be used in generic or race-specific ratios to manipulate the behavior and improve the performance of worker honey bees, resulting in overall increased vigor of the hive.

Abstract: A device is designed to be coupled to a fluid supply at a first inlet, to a fluid exhaust path at an outlet, and to an additive source at a second inlet. An inlet stream of working fluid is mixed with the additive in a mixing chamber and an outlet stream of the mixed fluid exhausts from the device. The device uses a hydraulic pump employing a valve mechanism that cycles and ports the flow of fluid through the device and allows for the mixing of the working fluid in the mixing chamber. The valve mechanism is spring actuated by a linkage mechanism employing a push-pull linkages tensioned by a spring. The mixing action allows a specific quantity of additive to mix with the working fluid in the mixing chamber of the device. Thus, the outlet stream provides a mixture of a predetermined concentration of whatever additive is used.

Abstract: The cartridge spreader system includes a mobile cartridge spreader with a cartridge station configured to engage a cartridge and includes a locking controller for locking the cartridge securely into the cartridge station. The cartridge station includes an activator mechanism for activating and deactivating an engaged cartridge. The cartridge spreader includes an activation controller for activating and deactivating the cartridge. Activation of the cartridge allows the granular product contained in the cartridge to flow out of the container, through a granular chute on the cartridge station, and onto a granular product launcher which launches or impels the granular product over terrain or other surface. When the cartridge is deactivated, the flow path is sealed stopping the flow of granular product. The cartridge itself includes a fitment that engages with the cartridge station. The cartridge fitment includes an appropriately sized metering gate.

Abstract: A rodent bait station has a plastic base with a bottom opening which receives a removable bait receptacle which is engaged by two resilient fingers to the base, and secured by a downward projection from the lid, which offers a child-resistant latch, such that the bait receptacle can only be removed for rebaiting by simultaneously deflecting the downward projection and the two fingers while extracting the receptacle.

Abstract: A composition comprising herbicidal mixtures of mesotrione impregnated into or coated on the surface of a granular substrate material such as a fertilizer granule and/or a solid inert carrier material is provided for use to control weeds in turfgrasses without causing damage to the grass and methods for the use thereof.
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention relate to compositions comprising fatty acid or fatty amine salt of a first herbicidal agent, in which a second herbicidal agent is dissolved to form a solution of the second herbicidal agent and the fatty acid or fatty amine salt of the first herbicidal agent. The resulting solution is useful in the preparation of products coated therewith.
