Abstract: A method for controlling an inflatable airbag system in a motor vehicle having a seatbelt includes detecting a position of a vehicle occupant relative to an airbag suppression zone (ASZ). Electronic input signals are received from a sensor suite, including an occupant position signal and a seatbelt usage status signal. A restraint capacity setting of the airbag is adjusted in response to the electronic input signals such that corresponding restraint activation logic is executed by the controller based on whether the occupant is belted or unbelted. Different ASZs may be used for belted and unbelted occupants. A motor vehicle includes a vehicle body defining a vehicle interior, an airbag, a seatbelt, a sensor suite for detecting a position of an occupant relative to the ASZ, and a controller operable for controlling a restraint capacity setting and location of the ASZ in accordance with the method.

Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed herein for building contextual transcripts. A computing system may receive a textual transcript of a meeting that contains a variety of statements made by various attendees of the meeting, select the first statement made during the meeting, and determine which meeting attendee made the statement. A machine learning model corresponding to the particular attendee that has been trained using previously received statements by the particular attendee may be used on the utterance to determine the tone of the utterance. That tone may be recorded within the transcript and this process may be repeated for each utterance to build a contextual transcript.

Abstract: Implementations described herein relate to providing noise suppression for speech data with reduced power consumption. In some implementations, a computer-implemented method includes receiving a current time frame of speech data, e.g., after receiving a previous time frame associated with a previous noise suppression mask. The current time frame is transformed to a current frequency frame in the frequency domain. A noise classifier is used to determine whether to create a current noise suppression mask for the current frame. If it is determined to create the mask, the mask is created and multiplied by the current frequency frame to obtain a noise-suppressed frequency frame. If it is determined to not create the current mask, the previous noise suppression mask is multiplied with the current frequency frame to obtain the noise-suppressed frequency frame, without creating a mask. The noise-suppressed frequency frame is transformed to a time frame and output.
