Abstract: A vehicle console assembly includes a body that defines a storage space. The body includes an upper rim. A support assembly is operable between a first position at one end of the upper rim and a second position at a second end of the upper rim. The support assembly is operable between a folded armrest condition and a deployed tray condition. An actuation assembly is operably coupled to the support assembly. The actuation assembly includes at least one cable having coils. The at least one cable is coupled to the support assembly. A motor is configured to engage the coils of the at least one cable to translate the support assembly between the first position and the second position.

Abstract: In a general aspect, a semiconductor device module includes a ceramic substrate having a first surface and a second surface opposite the first surface, a patterned metal layer disposed on the first surface of the ceramic substrate, a semiconductor die disposed on the patterned metal layer, and a cooling structure disposed on the second surface of the ceramic substrate. The cooling structure includes a plurality of copper sheets defining a plurality of fluidic-cooling channels. At least one copper sheet of the plurality of copper sheets is at least one of coated or plated with a corrosion-resistant material. The module also includes a molding compound that encapsulates the ceramic substrate, the patterned metal layer and the semiconductor die. The molding compound also partially encapsulates the cooling structure, such that a fluidic interface surface of the cooling structure is exposed through the molding compound.

Abstract: At least one example embodiment relates to a chewing gum. In at least one example embodiment, the chewing gum comprises a gum base polymer and oil. The gum base polymer includes polyvinyl acetate (PVA) in an amount ranging from 35 weight percent to 55 weight percent of the chewing gum. The oil is present in an amount greater than 8 weight percent of the chewing gum. The oil includes a triglyceride, triacetin, and nicotine or a nicotine derivative. The triglyceride is present in an amount greater than or equal to 5 weight percent of the chewing gum. At least one example embodiment relates to a method of preparing a controlled-release nicotine chewing gum.

Abstract: A method at an electronic device with a display includes: displaying a user interface having a first region and a second region; receiving, and displaying in the first region of the user interface, a live video stream of a physical environment captured by a remote video camera; displaying, in the second region, a timeline corresponding to a timespan for a first portion of a duration during which the live video stream may have been recorded; in response to receiving a user interaction to move the timespan to a second portion of the duration, transitioning the displayed timeline to a new timeline that corresponds to the timespan for the second portion, and while transitioning, displaying, in the first region, a subset of video frames representing the first and/or second portion of the duration.

Abstract: Systems and methods for configuring a spectral mask include a transmitting device which maintains a plurality of spectral masks for signal transmissions. The transmitting device determines a channel to transmit a signal. The transmitting device selects a first spectral mask from the plurality of spectral masks according to the determined channel to transmit the signal. The transmitting device transmits the signal in the determined channel to a receiving device according to the first spectral mask.

Abstract: A packaging material including one or more expandable layers that provide protection to contents of a packaging enclosure formed with the packaging material. The packaging material includes at least a first layer and a second layer bonded to one another. The first layer is pulled or extended in a first direction that is effective to cause the second layer to expand in a second direction. The second layer is a cut-patterned layer which increases in thickness and provides structural strength to the packaging material when expanded.

Abstract: A base station transmits, to a wireless device, configuration parameters indicating one or more first reference signals (RSs), on a first cell, as RSs for a beam failure recovery (BFR) procedure of a second cell. Based on a deactivation of the first cell, the base station stops transmitting a response for the BFR procedure of the second cell, wherein the BFR procedure is triggered by the wireless device for the second cell.

Abstract: Systems are provided for system for delivering plural materials to plural molding machines according to defined formulations. Material supply units each contains a unique material and is coupled with a set of manifolds that have a mixing chambers. Conduits couple the material supply units with the manifolds. A controller is configured to operate valves to admit select materials from the material supply units into the mixing chamber according to the defined formulations, and to supply the mixed materials to the molding machines.

Abstract: According to examples, an apparatus may include a memory on which is stored machine-readable instructions that when executed by a processor, cause the processor to identify an object of interest in at least one first image of an environment captured by a wearable eyewear device during a first time period and identify the object of interest in at least one second image of the environment captured by a wearable eyewear device during a second time period. The processor may also determine a pattern associated with the object of interest based on the at least one first image of the identified object of interest and the at least one second image. In one regard, the processor may determine patterns associated with the object of interest, which may be hidden to or otherwise undetected by a user of the wearable eyewear device.

The solution can use a data processing system to receive data identifying physical characteristics of a part of a plurality of parts of a product to assemble. Data processing system can identify a first constraint corresponding to ergonomic data for assembling the part. Data processing system can identify a second constraint corresponding to the physical characteristics of the part. Data processing system can generate, using the data input into a model of the data processing system and based on the first constraint and the second constraint, a sequence identifying an order in which to assemble the part into the product with respect to assembly of the plurality of parts.

Abstract: A bicycle with an electric pedal assist motor capable of driving a chainring independent of cranks includes wheel speed sensors and crank cadence sensors. The wheel speed sensors and the crank cadence sensors measure wheel speed and crank cadence, respectively, and provide the measured wheel speed and crank cadence to controller of the bicycle. The controller activates motor overdrive based on the measured wheel speed and/or the measured crank cadence.

Abstract: An adaptable exercise apparatus designed to assisting those with reduced physical abilities, whether due to injury or age, perform a range of low impact exercises and stretches. The apparatus may include a stackable exercise platform having upturned lateral edges serving as ergonomically shaped gripping points. The apparatus may further include a mobility assistance frame for the purpose of providing a stable support structure to grip with one's hands to gain additional stability and/or leverage while performing various exercises. The mobility assistance frame may include vertical support members on either side of the stackable exercise platform. The mobility assistance frame may also include a trapeze-style bar suspended over the stackable exercise platform allowing an individual an additional structure to grip for the purpose of assisting in the performance of light exercises or stretches.

Abstract: Imaging systems and methods for capturing an image of a subject. The imaging system includes an imaging device that captures images of the subject, a focus mechanism for changing a focal length of the imaging device, and a controller that processes images captured by the imaging device. The imaging device captures a plurality of images of the subject at each of a plurality of focal lengths. The controller generates a sharpness map for each of the plurality of images of the subject at each of the plurality of focal lengths and a composite image of the subject by blending together the plurality of images at each of the plurality of focal lengths into a single image based on the sharpness maps.

Abstract: Methods and systems are described here for porting accounts to multiple computing platforms. Blockchain technology may be used and in particular cryptographic tokens (e.g., non-fungible tokens) may be used. A cryptographic token may represent a user account and may enable usage of the cryptographic token to provide portability of the user account. An access control system may be used to perform operations described herein. The access control system may receive a request for using, at a computing platform, an account of the user. The request may include an identifier of a cryptographic token. The access control system may determine, based on the cryptographic token, that access to the user account may be permitted and the request may be fulfilled.

Abstract: Aspects of hardened encoded message check systems and methods for RSA signature verification are described. In one implementation, an encoded message is received that includes an array of words. Each of the words in the encoded message are processed using an expected value and a share associated with each word. A verification value is calculated based on the array of words in the encoded message, the expected value, and the share associated with each word. A determination is performed regarding whether the verification value is correct and, if the verification value is correct, a hardware device is unlocked.
