  • Patent number: 11981508
Abstract: Disclosed is an end-to-end delivery system that uses standard containers designed for autonomous vehicle (AV) goods delivery, a purpose-built AV cargo management system, a purpose-built robot to load and unload packages, and software to coordinate the various tasks involved. The standard containers may include a hardware locking interface for locking to a carrying robot. The cargo management system may include a programmable conveyor system installed on each floor of a multi-floor cargo space within the AV. For example, the floor may include a roller surface to allow omnidirectional routing of packages. An elevator shaft may be used for receiving and off-loading containers. The software may identify a target container anywhere within the multi-floor cargo space, and determine how to rearrange the containers within a grid in the AV so that the target container may be moved to the elevator shaft for unloading.

  • Patent number: 11983114
Abstract: A database system is operable to determine a query for execution that requires access to a set of records stored by the database system. A first proper subset of the set of records are accessed in conjunction with executing the query by reading exactly one of a set of multiple replicas of each record of the first proper subset of the set of records from the replication-based storage system. A second proper subset of the set of records are accessed in conjunction with executing the query by reading at least one redundancy-coded segment from the redundancy-coding based storage system. A final resultant for the query is generated by performing at least one query operation on the first proper subset of the set of records and the second proper subset of the set of records in conjunction with executing the query.

  • Patent number: 11981347
Abstract: Rules based semantic map sharding is proposed. A method of handling semantic objects for semantic map sharding makes used of rules to define which semantic objects are to be included in a shard. Hereto, semantic objects are defined in a geographical area to be contained in shard data. For the semantic objects, a set of rules is defined comprising a definition of which semantic objects are to be combined into a shard data entry of the shard data and which semantic objects are to be stored in separate shard data entries.

  • Patent number: 11984998
Abstract: Techniques for selective video conference segmentation are described and are implementable in a video conference setting. The described implementations enable control over segments of video content that are viewable by a given participant in a video conference. For instance, segments of video content are generated that represent spatial portions of video content captured by a host device. The segments can be configured in a variety of ways for inclusion in one or more video streams. The video streams can be communicated to different participants within the video conference, for instance based on a status of a given participant, thus providing different fields of view to different participants.

  • Patent number: 11980760
Abstract: A pacemaker system includes a drive-sense circuit (DSC) operably coupled to a pacemaker lead. The DSC generates a pace signal including electrical impulses based on a reference signal. The DSC provides the pace signal via the pacemaker lead to an electrically responsive portion of a cardiac conductive system of a subject to facilitate cardiac operation of a cardiovascular system of the subject. The DSC senses, via the pacemaker lead, cardiac electrical activity of the cardiovascular system of the subject that is generated in response to the pace signal and electrically coupled into the pacemaker lead and generates a digital signal that is representative of the cardiac electrical activity of the cardiovascular system of the subject that is sensed via the pacemaker lead. The DSC provides digital information to one or more processing modules that includes and/or is coupled to memory and that provide the reference signal to the DSC.
