Abstract: Implementations relate to automatic generation of speaker features for each of one or more particular text-dependent speaker verifications (TD-SVs) for a user. Implementations can generate speaker features for a particular TD-SV using instances of audio data that each capture a corresponding spoken utterance of the user during normal non-enrollment interactions with an automated assistant via one or more respective assistant devices. For example, a portion of an instance of audio data can be used in response to: (a) determining that recognized term(s) for the spoken utterance captured by that the portion correspond to the particular TD-SV; and (b) determining that an authentication measure, for the user and for the spoken utterance, satisfies a threshold. Implementations additionally or alternatively relate to utilization of speaker features, for each of one or more particular TD-SVs for a user, in determining whether to authenticate a spoken utterance for the user.

Abstract: A roofing system includes a roofing membrane. The roofing membrane has a surface energy of 40 mN/m or less. The roofing system includes a roofing substrate. The roofing system includes an adhesive disposed between the roofing membrane and the roofing substrate. The adhesive includes a styrenic block copolymer. The styrenic block copolymer is present in an amount of 0.5 wt. % to 30 wt. % based on a total weight of the adhesive. The adhesive includes asphalt. The asphalt is present in an amount of 70 wt. % to 99.5 wt. % based on the total weight of the adhesive. A ratio of the styrenic block copolymer to the asphalt in the adhesive is 1:11 to 1:3.

Abstract: A method comprises obtaining a virgin asphalt and obtaining an asphalt shingle waste. The asphalt shingle waste comprises 5 wt. % to 40 wt. % of asphalt based on the total weight of the asphalt shingle waste. The asphalt shingle waste comprises 60 wt. % to 95 wt. % of limestone, granules, and/or impurities based on the total weight of the asphalt shingle waste. The method comprises obtaining a phase modifier. The method comprises mixing the virgin asphalt, the asphalt shingle waste, and the phase modifier to form an asphalt mixture. The phase modifier is present in an amount of 0.25 wt. % to 25 wt. % based on the total weight of the asphalt mixture. The asphalt mixture is configured to be applied to a roof substrate to obtain a roofing shingle.

Abstract: A servo valve in a servo pulser used to restrict flow to a larger main valve includes external stops on a housing to define rotational starting/stopping points and sweep zones for a servo rotor having digits for contacting the stops. The digits extend longitudinally away from the servo valve seat and extend into the sweep zones. Interaction between the stops and the digits in the sweep zones limit rotation of the rotor to a swept arc between the stops. The servo pulser rotor oscillates between stopping points in alternating clockwise/counterclockwise sweeps. Each sweep in a given direction creates one full pulse: closed, open, and closed. The servo pulser carries out a feedback/decision loop between hydraulic pulses (and sweeps) that receives information on one or more previous pulses and calculates how fast or slow it should drive the servo rotor for the current pulse.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for determining that a media asset appears in at least two or more scenes in scenes associated with an immersive media presentation, sending a request to a client querying whether the client has access to the media asset appearing in at least two or more scenes in a local cache, receiving a reply indicating whether the client has access, signaling, in response to the reply indicating that the client has access to the media asset appearing in at least two or more scenes in the local cache, the client to use the media asset in a subsequent scene, and distributing the media asset to the client in response to the reply indicating that the client has no access to the media asset appearing in at least two or more scenes in the local cache.

Abstract: Aspects described provide systems and methods that relate generally to image analysis and, more specifically, identifying individual components and elements in an image. The systems and methods include a valuation application executing one or more application program interfaces (APIs) communicating with one or more websites via a network, where the user is prompted to enter information and/or take pictures or videos of their vehicle that they would like to sell. The valuation application utilizes a machine learning model to identify and value the various vehicle components within the images and videos. Based on the machine learning model, the valuation application identifies each component according to the images and videos and performs a search to determine the value of the components identified. The valuation application tabulates and summarizes the vehicle component resale values and resell information for the user to view.

Abstract: A nasal irrigation diagnostic assembly comprising an irrigation device including a fluid collection portion structured to retain a biological sample, in the form of waste solution from the nasal cavity resulting from irrigation. A detection member disposed on said irrigation device is exposed to the biological sample and is structured to determine the existence of at least one analyte within the biological sample of the waste solution. The detection member comprises a plurality of detection zones individually structured to analyze the biological sample upon engagement therewith, wherein said plurality of zones include at least a reaction zone and a detection zone, which respectively include reagents cooperatively and collectively formulated to detect the existence of the at least one analyte within biological sample of the waste solution. A control zone may also be included to indicate the intended operability of at least the detection member.

Abstract: A magnetic door closure apparatus includes a first magnet in a door frame and second and third magnets in a door. The second and third magnets align with the first magnet when the door is closed. The second magnet's polarity is the same as the first magnet, and the third magnet's polarity is opposite that of the first magnet. When the door is nearly closed, the distance between the first and second magnets is less than the distance between the first and third magnets. The magnetic attraction between the first and third magnets is large enough to overcome the magnetic repulsion between the first and second magnets so that the door can be closed and is large enough to hold the door closed, whereas the magnetic repulsion is large enough to prevent the door from slamming against the door frame as the door is closed.

Abstract: A lighting module includes a first light source that generates a low beam with a bright/dark cut-off line and a second light source. First optics redirects a first part of light from the first light source to create a main part of the low beam substantially below the bright/dark cut-off line. Second optics is spaced apart from the first optics and redirects a second part of light from the first light source to create a zone III beam of the low beam substantially above the bright/dark cut-off line and redirects a fourth part of light from the second light source to create a concentrated beam of the high beam in front of the vehicle. Third optics redirects a third part of light from the second light source to create a main part of a high beam.

Abstract: A bracket attachable to a top side of a parapet on a bridge to support a platform positioned on a horizontal element of the bracket. Vertical adjustment of the bracket allows the horizontal element to be positioned a small distance beneath the bridge deck so that the platform positioned thereon can catch falling materials, such as from demolition during bridge repair. After demolition, vertical adjustment of the bracket brings the horizontal element supporting the platform to a level directly under the bridge deck for use as a formwork for construction of a new roadway.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method includes: allowing a user of a spreadsheet program to select a transaction from a list of transactions for a transaction management platform; creating a mapping sheet in a workbook of the spreadsheet program, the mapping sheet listing, in a first column, data fields associated with the selected transaction; receiving, in a second column of mapping sheet, references to cells of the workbook that correspond to the data fields in the first column; and using the mapping sheet to automatically update the data fields associated with the selected transaction with data values from the corresponding cells of the workbook in response to a user command.

Abstract: In one aspect, a computer implemented method for providing rapid access to product information on a mobile computing device is disclosed. The method includes provisioning an online platform and associating a database repository. Next, the method generates a visual code and identifies the visual code to a domain name. Then the visual code is populated with information, such as product information, wherein the product information is associated to the visual code that is further linked to the data repository and online platform. The association allows for multiple file types and acquisition from web scraping. Further, the online platform allows for editing content behind the domains and generating further subdomains that further link to the original visual code. Thereby providing, in one aspect, a quick information portal through the use of visual codes and data structuring.

Abstract: Disclosed are systems and methods for sharing health information. For example, the system includes a sensor unit adjacent a building entrance, a first computing device of a visitor to the building entrance, and a second computing device associated with an occupant of the building. The system can include device connected to a smart-home network. One method includes detecting the first computing device adjacent the entrance, requesting health data from the first computing device, the first computing device checking for authorization to share the health data with a user associated of the second computing device; the first computing device sending health data to the second computing device, a second computing device receiving the health data pertaining to the user of the first computing device, and the second computing device notifying the user of the second computing device based on the received health data.

Abstract: A baggage handling system includes a multi-tiered carousel system, an input conveyor system, an output conveyor system and a control system. Each tier of the multi-tiered carousel system includes an array of addressable storage cells movable along a loop having a charge point and a discharge point. Each storage cell is configured to store a single baggage item. The input conveyor system transfers baggage items selectively to the addressable storage cells of the multiple tiers at the respective charge points, for storage therein. The output conveyor system retrieves baggage items selectively from the addressable storage cells of the multiple tiers at the respective discharge points and conveys the retrieved baggage items in a queue. The storage and retrieval of baggage items is controlled by the control system such that the retrieved baggage items are queued to conform to a determined sequence.

Abstract: A wireless audio streaming system for swimmers and underwater applications uses directional transmission antennas, one or more reception antennas worn on a user, and a combination of radio frequency and near-field magnetic induction communication, for streaming audio to a swimmer, buffering the streamed audio, and allowing the user to play the audio on a wireless, waterproof headset.
