Abstract: Foldable touch screen display devices with a flexible display unit made up of segments that can be reconfigured from a compact state to an expanded state which includes a modular rigid display that may be attached to the flexible display unit. The form factor of the compact state is roughly the size of a typical handheld phone or smaller. The form factor of the expanded state is roughly the size of a larger phone or tablet computer. A third state whereby the attached rigid display is folded out such that its top surface is aligned with the top surface of the unfolded flexible display, may provide the use of both displays simultaneously. All folded states may include an integrated speaker and microphone. In one embodiment, a module attached to, situated within, or otherwise associated with at least one segment of the flexible display or rigid display may contain all or substantially all processing and memory, along with a communications system, which may be used in any state.

Abstract: Described herein are systems and methods to apply route-map configurations in a computing network. In one implementation, a routing computing system may identify a route for redistribution in a computing network and identify a longest prefix in a radix tree associated with the route. The routing computing system may further identify a highest priority route-map clause associated with the longest prefix match or any parent prefixes of the longest prefix match in the radix tree. Once identified, the computing system may perform an action associated with the highest priority route-map clause.

Abstract: Ceiling illumination is a method by which indirect lighting can be achieved in a space to replace a recessed downlight and to provide better light utilization and application efficiency. A solid-state lighting apparatus is invented which includes a support structure and a substrate for mounting LEDs and configured to emit light in a direction such that, when installed as per the invented method, can illuminate a ceiling and subsequently the space below it.

Abstract: Systems and methods for detecting fiber port availability in a fiber distribution hub and generating fiber port recommendations are presented. An exemplary method may include detecting, based at least on a fiber distribution record, one or more candidate ports in the fiber distribution hub; transmitting a first indication of a first selected port of the one or more candidate ports to a computing device; detecting, after transmitting the indication of the first selected port and in real time, that a termination unit associated with the fiber distribution hub has been disconnected; automatically updating the fiber distribution record such that the fiber distribution record is representative of an association between the termination unit and the first selected port; and generating, based on detecting that the termination unit has been disconnected, a second indication of a second selected port of the one or more candidate ports.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a method, system and computer program product for single view presentation of multiple query. In an embodiment of the disclosure, a method for single view presentation of multiple query includes directing a query against a database along a selected dimension of multiple different elements. In response, a primary result set is received. The result set is then organized into a tabular view of cells according to the selected dimension and values for the selected dimension. Thereafter, a set of nested queries may be directed for each of the elements in the selected dimension against the result set utilizing a different dimension. In response to each directed set of nested queries, a corresponding result set is thus received. Finally, each corresponding result set is inserted into a cell associated with a common one of the elements.

Abstract: Various embodiments are directed to processing and executing digital asset transfers between two users. An example method includes receiving a data object defining a digital asset transfer, and the data object may be a query from the first user to initiate an outbound transfer to a second user or an approval of a request for digital asset units from the second user. The method further includes retrieving account balance data objects associated with the digital asset accounts for the first and second users. The method further includes, responsive to determining that the digital asset transfer satisfies one or more transfer conditions, executing the digital asset transfer by executing a closed-loop debit from the first user and executing a closed-loop credit to the second user. The method further includes updating the account balance data object to reflect the resulting balances of each digital asset account.

Abstract: A system and a method of non-invasive continuous echocardiographic monitoring is provided with an ultrasound transducer and a bedside monitor. The beside monitor includes a monitor central processing unit (CPU). First, the ultrasound transducer is attached onto a specific skin portion of a patient. The specific skin portion is positioned adjacent to a patient's heart. Next, continuous echocardiographic data is sensed with the ultrasound transducer. After relaying the continuous echocardiographic data from the ultrasound transducer to the monitor CPU, the monitor CPU generates a real-time ultrasound image of the heart from the continuous echocardiographic data. Finally, the real-time ultrasound image is outputted with the bedside monitor. If the bedside monitor has a main screen, then the real-time ultrasound image is displayed through a picture-in-picture format with the main screen.

Abstract: A payment instrument comprising a bottom layer; one or more intermediate layers, wherein at least one of the one or more intermediate layers comprises: a chip comprising a processor and memory; an antenna coupled with the chip; an absorbent medium; and one or more reservoirs comprising beads, each of the beads comprising dyes of one or more colors, the beads configured to release the dyes onto the absorption medium. The dyes cure on the absorption medium at a rate based on a curing agent applied to the absorbent medium or included in beads of the reservoirs. The payment instrument may also comprise a top layer having at least a partially translucent portion above the absorption medium, wherein the absorption medium is at least partially visible through the at least one partially translucent portion.

Abstract: Exemplary embodiments may provide an approach to converting multidimensional color data for an image encoded in a first color space into an intermediate form that is a single dimensional value. The exemplary embodiments may then decode the intermediate form value to produce an encoding of the color data that is encoded in a second color space that differs from the first color space. In this manner, the data for the image may be efficiently converted from an encoding in the first color space into an encoding in the second color space.

A plurality of matrices may be generated for each lock sequence of the plurality of lock sequences, thus defining a plurality of lock sequence matrix towers. The plurality of lock sequence matrix towers may be combined, thus defining a combined lock sequence matrix tower. One or more lock sequence conflicts may be identified within the plurality of lock sequences based upon, at least in part, the combined lock sequence matrix tower.

Abstract: An actuation mechanism for use in a vehicle. The actuation mechanism includes one or more motors having an output shaft with a sun gear. At least a portion of the sun gear is drivingly connected to at least a portion of one or more planetary gears. The one or more planetary gears are drivingly connected to at least a portion of a carrier, a fixed non-rotating ring gear and an output gear. The disclosure further relates to a method of operating an actuation mechanism that is drivingly connected to at least a portion of a vehicle parking mechanism. The method includes providing an actuation mechanism, providing a parking mechanism and one or more sensors that are operably configured to collect an amount of data to be analyzed. Based on the data analyzed, one or more failures within the parking mechanism may be determined and an alert may be sent.

Abstract: Non-limiting examples of the present disclosure relate to creation and management of a transactional ledger through an electronic gaming application/service. Various embodiments relate generally to gaming systems based on a distributed multi-ledger gaming architecture. In accordance with various embodiments, a transparent technology platform can be used to provide a secure ledger system for recording value transfer, play action, bets, analytics, gaming statistics (e.g., payouts, skill levels, etc.), and the like. In some examples, gaming systems can directly interact with the distributed multi-ledger architecture for secure and transparent transactions which can also be accessed by auditors, tax authorities, partners, and/or other entities. Some examples may use private and/or public blockchains as part of the distributed multi-ledger gaming architecture. For instance, multiple distributed network nodes may be utilized to manage creation of game-related transaction records.

Abstract: An imaging system for an ophthalmic laser system includes a prism cone made of a transparent optical material and disposed downstream of the focusing objective lens of the ophthalmic laser system, the prism cone having an upper surface, a lower surface parallel to the upper surface, a tapered side surface between the upper and lower surfaces, and a beveled surface formed at an upper edge of the prism cone and intersecting the upper surface and the side surface, and a camera disposed adjacent to the prism cone and facing the beveled surface. The camera is disposed to directly receive light that enters the lower surface of the prism cone and exits the beveled surface without having been reflected by any surface.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatuses for risk analysis of web pages using a machine learning model are described herein. A computing device may receive a risk detection machine learning model trained to receive input corresponding to a web page and output an indication of risk associated with the web page. The computing device may execute a web browser application and collect user activity data by monitoring user activity associated with the web browser application. The computing device may access, via the web browser application, a first web page, and collect page data associated with the first web page. The computing device may calculate a risk level of the first web page. The risk level may be calculated by processing, using the risk detection machine learning model, both the user activity data and the page data. A security recommendation may be output based on the risk level.
