Abstract: A method for securing an electronic control unit (ECU). The method may include generating a granular security control adjustment authorization ticket (G-SCAAT) for securing the ECU according to a plurality of security parameters determined based on to a role selected for a corresponding user. The G-SCAAT may include security values to be used in controlling the ECU to operate according to the security parameters.
Abstract: Assemblies and methods for fixation of bone or bone fragments using an orthopedic plate having a slot that causes the bone or bone fragments to compress as a screw is inserted into the slot and rotated therein. By anchoring the orthopedic plate to a first bone or bone fragment and rotating the screw into the second bone or bone fragment at an angle that may be up to approximately fifteen degrees from perpendicular to the top surface of the orthopedic plate, the screw head causes the orthopedic plate to traverse away from the first screw thereby causing the first bone or bone fragment to be drawn toward and/or compress with the second bone or bone fragment.

Abstract: A vehicle includes a traffic light indication system (system) with one or more input devices for generating a status input signal associated with a status of a traffic light. The input devices further generate an overriding input signal associated with a hazardous driving condition. The system further includes a notification device for providing a traffic light notification to the user. The system further includes a computer having a processor and a non-transitory computer readable storage medium (CRM) storing instructions. The processor is programmed to generate an actuation signal based on the status input signal. The processor is further programmed to refrain from generating the actuation signal, in response to the processor determining the predicted collision based on the status input signal and the overriding input signal. The notification device provides the traffic light notification to the user, in response to the notification device receiving the actuation signal.

Abstract: An electric grid comprising a first section comprising transmission equipment, power generation equipment, and electric transmission lines designed to serve an electric load within the first section independently of a second section, wherein the second section comprises the remaining electric grid excluding the first section. The system includes at least two electric connections between the first and second sections of the electric grid and a control system controlling operation of the first section independently of the second section. Abstract: A computer-implemented method of processing an emergency call reported to a Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) by a user of a first communication device can include an Emergency Service Routing Proxy (ESRP) performing a search operation to track location data of the first communication device in response to receiving an emergency callback request from the PSAP that has received an emergency call from a first communication device. The callback request can be forwarded to a most appropriate gateway of a carrier according to the first communication device's location data. An SIP INVITE request comprising a new header including a request for forking SMS for initiating, at the carrier a procedure for retrieving mobile network addresses of communication devices that are co-located to the first communication device can be sent in response to the callback request not being answered by the first communication device.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are system, method, and computer program product embodiments for a method of cloud infrastructure optimization. The method identifies an existing infrastructure configuration deployed in a cloud environment and generates a plurality of proposal configurations, each of the plurality of proposal configurations having executable code configured to adjust the existing infrastructure configuration for at least one variable. The method selects a proposal configuration from the plurality of proposal configurations based on the at least one variable adjusted for in the existing infrastructure configuration, and the selected proposal configuration is deployed in the cloud environment. The method then analyzes the selected proposal configuration for a level of adjustment for the at least one variable. The method trains a model engine with existing and new training data.

Voice recognition may be performed to determine one or more voice commands in a second portion of the audio input and an appropriate action may be taken based on the voice commands. Aspects discussed herein also relate to receiving a plurality of signals that energize an energy accumulator, activating a decoder based on an accumulated energy in the energy accumulator, and processing the signals to activate a power consumption device.
Abstract: Systems and methods for sharing the information of an individual under care across at least two organizations in an integrated manner are described. These include systems and methods of data collection from multiple sources relating to the individual's care, where the data collection is driven by one or more preset orders. The preset orders may be preset by a user. A physical node may receive a request for authorization for a user in an organization to access an individual's information in another organization. The request may be logged. The physical node may determine whether the user is authorized to access the individual's information and, if it is, provide appropriate access.
