Abstract: A data formatting module of a low voltage drive circuit (LVDC) includes a sample and hold circuit, an interpreter, a first buffer, a digital to digital converter circuit, and a data packeting circuit. The sample and hold circuit is operable to sample and hold an n-bit digital value of filtered digital data to produce an n-bit sampled digital data value. The interpreter is operable to convert the n-bit sampled digital data value into interpreted n-bit sampled digital data. The interpreter is operable to write the interpreted n-bit sampled digital data into the first buffer in accordance with a write clock until a digital word is formed. The digital to digital converter circuit is operable to format the digital word to produce a formatted digital word. The data packeting circuit is operable to generate a data packet from the formatted digital word and output the data packet as received digital data.

Abstract: Techniques are described for improving the efficiency of collaboration session synchronization between applications, particularly applications that consume heavy application data. In an embodiment, a computer-implemented method comprises employing, by an application server operatively coupled to a processor, a context management server to manage synchronization of usage context information between a first client device and one or more second client devices related to simultaneous usage of an application provided by the application server during a collaboration session established between the first client device and the one or more second client devices. The method further comprises managing, by the application server, synchronization and exchange of application data between the first client device and the one or more second client devices during the collaboration session without sharing the application data with the context management server.

Abstract: Systems and methods directed to returning personalized image-based search results are described. In examples, a query including an image may be received, and a personalized item embedding may be generated based on the image and user profile information associated with a user. Further, a plurality of candidate images may be obtained based on the personalized item embedding. The candidate images may then be ranked according to a predicted level of user engagement for a user, and then diversified to ensure visual diversity among the ranked images. A portion of the diversified images may then be returned in response to an image-based search.

Abstract: A computer search service can receive an enterprise graph query from a client computing device that is remote from the computer search service, with the enterprise graph query identifying an actor object set, a target object set, and a relationship between the actor object set and the target object set. The search service can return results of the enterprise graph query to the client device. The search service can receive from the client device an indication of user input instructing the search service to persist the enterprise graph query, with the indication of user input also instructing the search service to associate the persisted enterprise graph query with an entity. Moreover, in response to receiving the indication of user input, the search service can persist the enterprise graph query as well as associate the persisted enterprise graph query with the entity and/or enter a subscription entry for the query.
Abstract: Techniques are described herein for detecting and/or enrolling (or commissioning) new “hot commands” that are useable to cause an automated assistant to perform responsive action(s) without having to be first explicitly invoked. In various implementations, an automated assistant may be transitioned from a limited listening state into a full speech recognition state in response to a trigger event. While in the full speech recognition state, the automated assistant may receive and perform speech recognition processing on a spoken command from a user to generate a textual command. The textual command may be determined to satisfy a frequency threshold in a corpus of textual commands Consequently, data indicative of the textual command may be enrolled as a hot command. Subsequent utterance of another textual command that is semantically consistent with the textual command may trigger performance of a responsive action by the automated assistant, without requiring explicit invocation.
Abstract: Electro-magnetic devices are provided, having conductive elements and leads of multiple thicknesses. Templates are provided for making electro-magnetic devices, formed by an extrusion process, a skiving process, a swaging process, 3D printing, or a machining process. The multi-thickness electro-magnetic devices may comprise a conductive element having an increased thickness area, and one or more leads having at least one decreased thickness area, having a thickness less than the increased thickness area. An electro-magnetic device may be provided comprising a conductive element having an increased thickness encased in a body formed from a core material, and leads or lead portions connected to the conductive element having a decreased thickness.

Abstract: Systems and methods are described for transmitting information optically. For instance, a system may include an optical source configured to generate a beam of light. The system may include at least one modulator configured to encode data on the beam of light to produce an encoded beam of light/encoded plurality of pulses. The system may include a spectrally-equalizing amplifier configured to receive the encoded beam of light/encoded plurality of pulses from the at least one modulator and both amplify and filter the encoded beam of light/encoded plurality of pulses to produce a filtered beam of light/filtered plurality of pulses, thereby spectrally equalizing a gain applied to the encoded beam of light. In some cases, the system may slice the beam of slight, to ensure a detector has impulsive detection. In some cases, the system may include a temperature controller to shift a distribution curve of wavelengths of the optical source.
